Nora must be really confused... she was saved... suddenly she was not really safe... then the man that saved her a moment ago came back to say goodbye...
Flashpoint didn't happen in post crisis timeline.. so all nora saw was future flash take away young barry and thawne stabbing her and flash coming to give her closure at her last moments, telling her that he is barry and now that we see it, it makes sense she wasn't surprised to see barry because the timeline changed and barry met her few hours and she said the same thing he looks just like my father and so believed him

Nope, the Nora he talks to as she's dying is NOT the same one because THAT Barry is the one that does it all. S9 2000 only happens because of the Negative Speed Force because Thawne was truly dead. NSF does this as a way to bring Thawne back because while the real one is gone he can use the one Barry trapped to cause Flashpoint. So even though it technically happens that same day just hours before, none of S9-10 has happened yet, that Nora did not save and speak with an adult Barry.

This. This is what this show meant to me. This was the true strength behind the character of The Flash. The emotional weight this arc carried, and how the story solely focused on developing Barry's character WAS the show, and this video summarized this beautifully.
Agreed. And I love that the small amount of people who have stuck with the show are the most wholesome little community I’ve seen in a while. We were there for that night, and we’re here for the final run. Cheesy, but I don’t care - if cheesiness was an issue, we wouldn’t be watching this show!
Nobody mentioned in the comment but I love the fact flash waited 3 seconds after thawne ran, like he was so confident he can outspeed him, he knew this was a scenario of Outhinking and nit outspeeding
@@iamtheshadows4916 Yes, but Barry knew what was about to happen. I think it was also hesitation. Barry knew the difficult choice he had to make, for seemingly the umpteenth time. He had to catch Thawne, and he knew he would get there just in time to do battle. The fight would be brief with solid blows to go around, and he knew that he would see himself... a younger version of himself as the Flash... who would be looking to stop what was about to happen. He had to stop him from doing what he had come here to do. Barry knew every step of this night because he had lived it again and again, in reality and in his nightmares.
Because he isn't fighting RF here. It's OG Flash. Our barry just went into the house to stop 1x23 Barry, then left to talk to Thawne before vanishing infront of him.
I’m really, really happy Matt’s Thawne got to have the spotlight one last time. He’s always been done a bit dirty, always the second choice for Thawne. So it’s just really nice he got to play Thawne one last time, as Barry’s story finally comes full circle.
@@ALEX9080 He looks more like comic Reverse Flash but as far as CW canon goes Tom fits more with the idea of Thawne being a dark mirror of Barry and looking similar/changing his face to one more similarly to Barry. If they had a more comic accurate Barry Matt would have been a perfect Reverse Flash.
@@melancholyentertainmentSee, you get it! S1 started off with a favored totally original CW version of Thawne and they just wanted to give Tom the courtesy of ending off with him, too
If you think about it, Barry is trapped in a time loop. His mom dies, he goes on to become the flash, his whole life happens, he goes back in time fighting the reverse flash, saves himself, reverse flash kills his mom out of anger for failing, loses his speed, devises a plan to get his speed back, creates the flash, and the cycle repeats itself. Barry always vanishes in a crisis because it's a fixed point in time that cannot be stopped.
Technically, they're both trapped because if barry never becomes the flash, thawne can never be reverse flash, which is why thawne created the particle accelerator, and you know the rest
I love how you used the season 5 scene between Barry and Nora. Everyone expects to see it from the start but introducing it how you did it to end on a sweet note is genius!
You notice how Barry just casually walks into frame with no hint of lightning? I don’t think he followed Nora here. My head canon is Barry actually comes here a lot, not to change anything or interact with them, but to just feel the warmth and remember their smiles. Then out of nowhere Nora zooms up and he’s like, “Oh hey, you found my secret spot!” 🥲
@@MarisuSedaiThat would probably mean there would be lots of versions of himself there 😆 But it's a very nice theory and it's a superhero show, we can imagine anything we want 😄
Man, that night's mystery of S1 is unparalleled. Finding out that Future Flash was there that night fighting the Reverse-Flash was a big moment for the show. Plus the mystery behind the Reverse-Flash. It was unraveled really well. This show made me a fan of the Flash. I knew the character but didn't know many details and finding them through the show was very cool.
I am so glad to be one of the few who started watching this show when the first episode aired back in 2014. Seeing the loop complete now after 9 years gives me a feeling words can't describe
Exactly the music was so dope. The soundtrack from the episode Harrison Wells (Thawne) is talking to Coma Barry is used so right in the scene Barry tells Thawne he is grateful.
It’s the best, and most emotional scene in the whole show(so far), we’ll that and the ending to season 3 when Barry had to be imprisoned in the Speed Force and had to say goodbye to everyone. Nothing beats it. It’s even more better because we know now that Nora unknowingly hung out and showed love to her adult son during the day and she got to say goodbye to an adult version of Barry before she died
4:10 Holy sh*t the acting here is so good. Even had me convinced Barry was getting somewhere. Thawne should never change, he will always be the Reverse Flash. Great episode
This cut is INCREDIBLE. It's so well structured, showing each of the Flash's present and their unique actions on that night, and reinforces just what a huge moment this was both in the life of the Flash and for the show as a whole. Excellent work👏👏👏
Damn imagine being Barry’s mom so confused in that 1 moment, seeing around 2-3 different flashes and 2 reverse flashes trying to kill her before she dies.
Realizing that to Nora she had seen barry that day... So when season 1 barry saw her and talked to her, Barry's weirdness throughout that day finally made sense to her... It's shattering
but then she said ‘you look just like my father’ but doesnt that make no sense? she spent the whole day with season 9 barry and knows what he looks like, so when she sees him again why does she say this?
@sahib3035 I'm guessing when Nora spent the day with S9 Barry, after S1 Barry revealed himself as the Flash in the moments before her death, seeing that face in front of her uncowled or unmasked must have surprised her to say the least, but that's my theory, or that in this new timeline, maybe she actually has new dialogue to say but is off-screen.
This is by far the best cut I’ve seen. Not only is it seamless, but the flow and order of scenes are flawless. They gel so smoothly that it forms a cohesive and complete picture of all the things that happened that night, and also all the things that unhappened. And using the erased timeline with OG Nora Jr. and Barry’s speech to end it on a happy note while simultaneously showing how much he has matured and made peace with that night? Brilliant.
@@TheTdg97 That's the Barry that became the Flash in 2020 and grew up with his Mum alive, first meeting Thawne in the future. That OG Barry is there that night in an attempt to stop Thawne killing his younger self (they've both travelled back in time). He knew that Thawne wanted to kill him as a child, so saved his younger self, not thinking that Thawne would then kill his Mother instead. As Barry's Mum had now been killed while he was a boy, and Thawne then created the particle accelerator, speeding up the timeline by 6 years, that OG Barry's life is altered / erased, leaving a gap in the actions of that night. The death of Nora Allen is now a fixed point, so has to happen to maintain the timeline... therefore, the only way to complete the cycle, was for season 9 Barry to fill the part of (the now erased) OG Barry, thus completing the events of that night.
He has matured a lot thats why when he tried to talk RF out of it and asked him to walk away I was confused. Barry knows what Nora living will do. How it will fxxk up the timeline. Been there done that. So idk why he tried
@@TheTdg97 Our Barry (S9) enters the house a little later. Thawne is fighting OG Flash while at the same time we see S9 Barry come in to stop S1 Barry. After that, S9 Barry gets young Barry out and leaves to talk to Thawne. OG Flash vanishes after their fight. Everything else goes as it did originally.
Dang, if that wasn't the best 16 minutes and 8 seconds of my life, I don't know what is. I love how you put all of the scenes perfectly in order, and this storyline is what I've wanted to know everything about since Season 1.
One thing that I love about that series 9 episode is that it FINALLY explains what happened to the Barry who was fighting with Eobard. Before series 9, it never explained what happened to him after he saved his child self.
11:22 - I think this final conversation might change differently than it was, since Nora and Henry helped him when he was in an accident earlier that day. This could be a legit plot hole for the episode. It would be as if she might tell him that they helped him in an accident he suffered earlier that day which may leave the 2015 Barry a little confused.
no that is the whole reason why she accepts that this Barry is her son because she had just spent the whole day with him. It actually makes it make more sense as to why she believed him so fast without any questions. She even says the same thing "he looks just like my father" when henry and nora help 2023 barry
@@isaacbrown7936 but why wouldn’t she say something like “Bart what are you doing here, how did you get our arrests, why were you fighting that yellow guy”

This is so, so beautifully put together, it made me feel so many feelings. What a journey the past 9 years have been, and what a way to come full circle and complete the story of the night his mom died. Gonna miss this show so much.
holy crap, that was brilliantly put together, thank you so much, seeing the Season 1 Barry, Flashpoint Barry and current Barry (which was the future Barry when we first watched this scene) on the night where Reverse Flash killed his mother is just amazing, I love it when a long running series gets to play out a well thought out story arc (a bit like River Song in Doctor Who or even Ash finally becoming a Pokemon Master), the story really feels earned
For those who are still confused about how the timeline works, here’s the explanation: Original timeline: Barry and Thawne fight in “Crisis” in 2024. Thawne figures out Flash’s identity and goes back in time to kill young Barry. Flash follows Thawne back in time, where flash saves his younger self, but Thawne kills Barry’s mother instead. The timeline changes when Thawne creates the flash earlier, so that he can go back to the future. The timeline changes again when Barry creates flashpoint, and then changes again when flashpoint thawne tries to reverse flashpoint (pun intended). Although things are set back on course, the timeline is not 100% the same. Crisis then replaces the timeline with a completely new one, as earths are now combined into one earth. It is in this crisis timeline that the new events of Barry’s mom’s murder are the events that transpired in season 9 episode 10. Season nine Barry is not OG flash. OG flash does not exist anymore. Because of Crisis, season nine Barry simply replaces OG flash, he doesn’t become him. Also, the fact that season nine Barry stopping his season one self is not a perfectly identical match shows he is not OG flash. If he was, everything would be the exact same, such as the blurring, Barry’s mouth being opened and other minor details that gave the first performance life to it.
I really love how all of us CW Flash lovers can easily respect time travel and still find adult Nora calling Barry “Old Man”, when he’s just a few years older than her in that moment, so adorable!! My favorite part was his reaction😂😂😂 Side note: this is ABSOLUTELY the BEST edit and explanation of that day I have EVER SEEN. Complete full circle!!! Very well ended on a positive tone. That day was tragic enough; so clever placement of the last scene. #respect
It's almost like that date has some inherent cosmic significance, almost like it was not only a defining moment of Barry's life, but a crossroads in the space time continuum. On the other hand, it could just be an amazing coincidence.
Seeing the newest Flash finally return to that night was something I somehow didn’t think I’d see the show do, also your editing of Barry stopping Thawne for Flashpoint and Thawne entering to Ctrl-Z Barry’s mess was seamless and perfect AF
When I started watching this show I had no kid or responsibility right now I have a six-year-old kid that loves the Flash ❤️💯. Thank you for this video
It comes full circle, totally feels like an end of an era Absolutely perfect Also, now it totally makes sense why Nora would trust that S1 Barry is her son when he sees her before she dies (wouldnt Henry recognise his grown son looking like a guy he had met long ago though) Either way,Nora's death is even more heartbreaking
For Henry, it's natural that he would forget S9 Barry, because that would have been years ago. But for Nora, she would have definitely recognised S1 Barry as Bart, as the timeline has changed so much since the original scene in S1.
in 2013 we expected the appearance of Barry and soon after the series was launched. 9 years have passed and most of those who survived have grown a lot, good times we share everyone, have a nice day.
This was beautiful. I've stopped watching the Flash years ago, but coming back for these last couple of episodes and honestly, this edit really brought tears to my eyes. It's wonderful. Thank you.
Thank you so much for making this. It really helps me understand that night and how everything played out like how Barry stopped Thawne but also didn’t at the same time
I love how Barry gives Thawne a headstart because he knows he’s faster, and his red lightning STILL makes it into the house first for the events to unfold…
I sobbed, shaking, watching this - as someone who has followed this show from the beginning, covered it and lived with it, seeing this put together, just helps put a bigger emphasis on how special this story is. Well done, Ultra, well done
This episode makes up for all the filler episodes of this season. Ep 10 gives a sense on what has passed and creating a full circle of things (also this video helped on making things flow well to make sense lol) on how things were falling in place. I first watched The Flash in when I was 11 years old, not since day 1 but now the show coming to an end and me turning grade 11 this next school year is just bizarre because, I'd say this show played a part in my childhood life. After school, I'd turn on the TV and put on The Flash. Knowing Barry has gotten his closure on his tragic trauma event and after 9 years facing it and finally accepting it, and also Nora since she lived earlier in the day with Bart then having revealed that Bart is her son also gives her the closure she needed (seeing her grown up son that Henry and her had been with). For the rest of the episodes coming in this season, I am not ready for it to end, but at the same time, I do. I really hope the people working on it make it feel like a "happy" ending to sum up the closure of the whole show and Grant Gustin's Flash, aswell as the whole CW universe. That is a lot to carry but after this episode, I really feel like they can. High hopes. Grant is an AMAZING actor and played the best version of the Flash that I could imagine! 😪🥺😢😁
It's actually heartbreaking when Nora is stabbed here. The music just cuts out. But that's how it feels when you know someone you love is moments away from dying
You seriously made me tear up a few times! This is truly one of the best videos I've EVER seen! It's so well put together. (I just had to laugh for 30 seconds straight the literal second it was at 16:08, that's how good it was!)
I feel so relieved and im sure everyone who has watched since the beginning has also gotten the closure like barry and nora has. From season 1 to now knowing this will also be the final season.😢
Seen some people suggest that Red Death be Oliver Queen. I personally would have made it the Arrowverse Bruce Wayne, and that would explain where he has been all this time.
Jeez, the mental damage alone from seeing all that from Nora's perspective. She saw flashes and reverse flashes enter and disappear from the timeline. Practically every blink is a different time of Barry. Holy shit
Beautifully edited. I haven't caught up with the latest episodes, as of May 9th, 2023, but I can tell that CW finally tried to rap this event up in a neat bow. Thank you for taking the time to stich these scenes together, imo, flawlessly. I'm sure this was a lot of work, but I know you made a lot of Flash fans more appreciative of this series.
Barry has lost so much but also gained more in return for being a hero, gonna miss this show; but I believe Flash will still continue being a hero after it ends. Great job on editing everything.
This is a better Flash movie, than the actual Flash movie. Edit: Speaking of, maybe when it comes out on streaming or digital, you can edit similar scenes from the show and movie together to compare?

Agreed. And I love that the small amount of people who have stuck with the show are the most wholesome little community I’ve seen in a while. We were there for that night, and we’re here for the final run. Cheesy, but I don’t care - if cheesiness was an issue, we wouldn’t be watching this show!
Amen
You gotta love when Tom Cavanagh's reverse flash says RUN BARRY RUN
I always get chills
I imagined that when I ran track. It worked lol
@elijah the best motivation 😅
I love it when he says it.
Istgggg
Nobody mentioned in the comment but I love the fact flash waited 3 seconds after thawne ran, like he was so confident he can outspeed him, he knew this was a scenario of Outhinking and nit outspeeding
That's because he was way faster than Thawne lol remember in s7 after the godspeed fight?
@@anthonygarcia8749 ye but in season 8 their speed is equal again
@@thechosenjoshua That's Season 9 mate I am talking abt Season 8
I’m really, really happy Matt’s Thawne got to have the spotlight one last time. He’s always been done a bit dirty, always the second choice for Thawne. So it’s just really nice he got to play Thawne one last time, as Barry’s story finally comes full circle.
Agreed. I've always preferred Matt Letscher's Thawn over Tom's. He was the true/authentic looking Reverse Flash.
Matt letscher is reverse flash
@@ALEX9080 He looks more like comic Reverse Flash but as far as CW canon goes Tom fits more with the idea of Thawne being a dark mirror of Barry and looking similar/changing his face to one more similarly to Barry. If they had a more comic accurate Barry Matt would have been a perfect Reverse Flash.
@@melancholyentertainmentSee, you get it! S1 started off with a favored totally original CW version of Thawne and they just wanted to give Tom the courtesy of ending off with him, too
The way I see it, Tom was a good Reverse Flash whereas Matt was a good Eobard Thawne.
I love how you can see the mileage and experience on season 9 Barry’s face and the inexperience in thawns
Right because he's been Flash longer than the OG and probably Thawne himself.
Barry didnt vanish in the last crisis tho
Thawne is trapped in a loop.
@@daryl.blakeofficialyoutube6295 how is Thawne trapped though? Isn't it Barry?
@@malaythakkar8772 There's always a crisis tho lmao

Plus the mystery behind the Reverse-Flash. It was unraveled really well. This show made me a fan of the Flash. I knew the character but didn't know many details and finding them through the show was very cool.

People keep talking about the seamless cuts and edits, but the use of the music is even better.

Absolutely, especially for those of us who are close to our own mothers. This is one of the few television scenes which breaks me each time.😭😭😭😭😭😭
its more sad now because she probably that she hangout with her grown up barry for the last time
It’s the best, and most emotional scene in the whole show(so far), we’ll that and the ending to season 3 when Barry had to be imprisoned in the Speed Force and had to say goodbye to everyone. Nothing beats it. It’s even more better because we know now that Nora unknowingly hung out and showed love to her adult son during the day and she got to say goodbye to an adult version of Barry before she died
Always. Never get over it.... Too emotional........ Crying again
The flash giving Reverse Flash a headstart is the most disrespectful thing ive seen so far
And the build up it made with the music made it so hype

This cut is INCREDIBLE. It's so well structured, showing each of the Flash's present and their unique actions on that night, and reinforces just what a huge moment this was both in the life of the Flash and for the show as a whole. Excellent work👏👏👏
As someone with a March 18th Birthday lemme just say that this show makes me feel certain things about this day

Certainly, many of us can only imagine how these scenes affect you and some others...
Same!
Here someone of march 18th of 1999, one year before barry's mom murdered
I was looking for this comment

One of the things I love about this edit is that you cut the scenes in such a smooth way if you get what i mean! Also pure W. You've deserved it
This is by far the best cut I’ve seen.

One thing that I love about that series 9 episode is that it FINALLY explains what happened to the Barry who was fighting with Eobard. Before series 9, it never explained what happened to him after he saved his child self.
Not true actually ,og barry is different from s9 barry ,og barry become the flash in 2020 and he came back from 2024 to save his younger self

This is so, so beautifully put together, it made me feel so many feelings. What a journey the past 9 years have been, and what a way to come full circle and complete the story of the night his mom died. Gonna miss this show so much.
Its insane how much they went back to this day but it all adds up logically still

Barry's conversation with dying Nora will always make me cry like a baby 😭
holy crap, that was brilliantly put together, thank you so much, seeing the Season 1 Barry, Flashpoint Barry and current Barry (which was the future Barry when we first watched this scene) on the night where Reverse Flash killed his mother is just amazing, I love it when a long running series gets to play out a well thought out story arc (a bit like River Song in Doctor Who or even Ash finally becoming a Pokemon Master), the story really feels earned
2023 Flash isn't 2024 Flash
Man I decided to watch this again for no reason... And now I can add this to one of the few things that nearly made me cry.
This is way better than the actual finale and I think closing the loop in the 9x10 should've been the real ending.
Today is officially April 25th 2024 the day Barry and Thawne fought which lead to this.
For those who are still confused about how the timeline works, here’s the explanation:
Original timeline: Barry and Thawne fight in “Crisis” in 2024.
So do we ever see the OG flash in the show?
@@Reswap0Yeah Season1 episode 23
The blurring was from season 1 barry pov. season 9 barry was much faster than season 1 so he appeared blurry
@giovannilawes9120 og flash doesn't exist anymore he came back from 2024 and came from a portal with thawne, s9 barry replaced him
I really love how all of us CW Flash lovers can easily respect time travel and still find adult Nora calling Barry “Old Man”, when he’s just a few years older than her in that moment, so adorable!! My favorite part was his reaction😂😂😂
Side note: this is ABSOLUTELY the BEST edit and explanation of that day I have EVER SEEN.
Damn this would have been the perfect finale. Now I wonder how the show will end

Absolutely perfect
Also, now it totally makes sense why Nora would trust that S1 Barry is her son when he sees her before she dies (wouldnt Henry recognise his grown son looking like a guy he had met long ago though)
Either way,Nora's death is even more heartbreaking
Not really. It will have been years
For Henry, it's natural that he would forget S9 Barry, because that would have been years ago.
But for Nora, she would have definitely recognised S1 Barry as Bart, as the timeline has changed so much since the original scene in S1.
To me, thats how Henry knew Barry was the Flash in S1 without Barry telling him first.
This is perfect! Perfect as the recent episode! Great job as always!

7:48 for some reason, the added reverb on Nora’s scream makes the scene so much more impactful
You seriously made me tear up a few times! This is truly one of the best videos I've EVER seen! It's so well put together.
(I just had to laugh for 30 seconds straight the literal second it was at 16:08, that's how good it was!)

An emotional ride for the fans. Thank You for the wonderful edit.
The most important night of his life, past, present and future
I feel so relieved and im sure everyone who has watched since the beginning has also gotten the closure like barry and nora has. From season 1 to now knowing this will also be the final season.😢
This Is By Far The Best Edit Of That Night Made. Very good transitions and the tracks are on point.
I still can't understand how they r able to make Nora's death emotional everytime and still can't write red death properly
Seen some people suggest that Red Death be Oliver Queen. I personally would have made it the Arrowverse Bruce Wayne, and that would explain where he has been all this time.
This is the best cut from what happended that night
I finally realized that Barry taught Thawne an important lesson about being a speedster with the circle being complete
The fact that barry gave thawne a headstart lolol
This was so beautifully done. Although I would've liked to see the whole day happen, with them meeting earlier and having pizza and all
Barry has lost so much but also gained more in return for being a hero, gonna miss this show; but I believe Flash will still continue being a hero after it ends. Great job on editing everything.
This is a better Flash movie, than the actual Flash movie. Edit: Speaking of, maybe when it comes out on streaming or digital, you can edit similar scenes from the show and movie together to compare?
