President Garrison honestly The cicada plan was a mastermind plan. When I was watching the season there was no way I believe Sicada was the main villain because he wasn’t as good as the previous villains. The Sicada just helped lose focus of the main villain of the season which is one great plot twist

Not exactly. When he traveled back in time the first time to kill the flash, he not only failed but killed Nora Allen instead and in doing so lost his connection to the speed force and had to rebuild the particle accelerator 20 years just to get his full speed back and get back to the future.
Half right. Barry can do it too. Barry Allen/The Flash(very distant future) made himself perpetual. The idea of Savitar, being the god of speed, actually came true.

@@hi-ct3gv you clearly weren’t paying attention. In the first season the show never addressed the negative speed force. That’s why Thawne was using his wheelchair to juice up his connection to the speed force. He was only able to use his speed for moments at a time.
I was fooled into thinking Thawne had really changed, but his genius level intellect helped him escape again. He is the best villain in the flash.

Totally the reverse flash of the CW is pretty tame even the Matt lechner version it's not bad or anything but the comic book version is much more sadistic and cruel erasing Barry's childhood friend breaking his arm when he was a child by tripping him down the stairs making his dog get hit by a car when he opened the door to let it out brutally beating Wally West in rebirth he manipulates captain boomerang to release him in exchange for information he just called him a cockroach says he's nothing and leaves and then all the rogues are pissed at him for letting reverse flash out but my favourite moment I'd say with the reverse flash in comics is when his future self erases his brother from existence because he was a science cop I think i can't remember future police but reverse flash was doing illegal research on the speed force and his brother was gonna stop him but the most cruel thing he did was when he was professor of studying the speed falls and was being interviewed by a journalist or news reporter and eobard developed a crush on her and wanted to go out with her but she was seeing somebody thorns futureself erase the boyfriend from the timeline now she's available but she isn't interested in the reverse flash so his future self traumatised is her at the age of 6 to the point where she hasn't said a word in over a decade and she's in hospital where she is being cared for
I'd love to see Matt lechners version of the reverse flash to return I really want to see the shows interpretation of his origins but I'd also love to see Matt lechner and Tom cavanagh both on-screen in the same episode as the reverse-flash

@@jrod8574 No I think that somehow the person who put him to jail or the jail warden burned the dagger to the suit and how that person positioned the dagger in a very similar way to the reverse lightning symbol
Before the season began I knew it had to do something with a speedster, especially when the red lightning was shooting off the dagger, I thought the dagger was going to make a new speedster, but it just caused more problems and crisis.

thawne isn't the kill count kind of guy he's more like doing the bigger thing or looking at the bigger picture kind of villain
I love that after the dagger fades and he gets his power back he almost immediatly starts de-aging to what his physical age actually would be. You can even see his hair turning fully black before the cut between clips.
It is quite fascinating to see that a connection to the (negative) speedforce affects your metabolism to the point that Thawne (who'd be in his 60's by then) looks again like he's in his late 30's to early 40's.
Speedster metabolism is something else.

Name one being who is erased multiple times, and still manages to run around having all the knowledge of what happened to all the other versions of him. (Not just arrowverse, you can also watch the "flashpoint paradox" and the one scene from "Hell to pay" animated movies, he is the only one, apart from Barry who remembers the events of the flashpoint)
Name one being who knows as much about the speed force as he could create an artificial one which gives him all flash powers organically and shields him from timeline change of any magnitude.

Say what you will about Season 5 of this show, but Thawne's appearances don't disappoint. He is so manipulative and intelligent, and he has such a mastery over his powers. Time and time again he has shown that he is not one to be taken lightly. He is evil, but his abilities are very cool.

I still think we will get some version of the tornado twins. We know that a new timeline exists and Nora was erased. Plus we’ve gotten a few twin hints during the season. Plus the producer said the actress who plays Nora could definitely come back for season 6. So maybe her name will still be Nora and now she will have a brother named Don.

I remember the first time I watched this I felt empowered and thought he was a badass at 0:43-0:46.
The way he delivers the dialogue is menacin as hell and then as he's walkin up to the executioner and his body starts flickerin with red lightnin before his whole hand lights up to show the dude you're fucked it's insane how badass he is. I was actually kinda bummed when Tom Cavanagh was not the real Eobard and it was just some face, because the actor they use for the real Eobard Thawn is so less menacin. That's probably why they had Tom play him in this scene.

I think he only disappeard in 2024 was because of crisis on infinite earths, but since thawne went back in time and changed it all so Barry could get speed years before, and so thawne could get his powers back, the date changed to December 9, 2019 was when the flash was supposed to disappear but he didn’t so who knows what’s gonna happen, but in season 7 Barry hopefully will get his speed back

@@michaelhulton3143 "shinde iru" and "shindeiru" is the same thing and with one being merged together when pronounced (also applies to other phrases that contains -iru) and not merged. It still doesn't change the fact that it's the same thing, if you don't believe me, go listen to the original dialogue
Have the powers of flash or reverse flash imo would make you one of the most op powers possible. Other than telekinesis, if you have a ever strong telekinetic ability and a good imagination on how to use it, telekinesis also becomes one of the strongest abilities and let's it seem as if you gave multiple abilities.
