Jar Jar was an extremely expensive and breakthrough character. A cgi character in live action on the silver screen. Scrubbed through with a fine tooth comb finding inconsistancies and making sense of what is found.

Darth Jar Jar has always been more realistic to me than Darth Sidious. Someone quietly making big moves in the shadows. Seen but unseen. Terribly powerful yet able to mask his darkness from even Sidious. Perhaps Palpatine wasn't searching for Abeloth, rather, Darth Jar Jar.

In the aftermath novels it was said that Jar Jar became a clown who entertained kids, the children loved him, however the adults hated him for giving Palaptine the emergency powers. It would be cool if this was rectoned and we got Darth Jar Jar into canon.
I mean everything else in the Novels is retconned all the time so why not?

I'd bet having Darth Jar Jar with two voices could happen with Ahmed Best doing the normal Jar Jar voice and then switching it to Simon's Voice making Darth Jar Jar's Voice melodious.
If they want Darth Jar Jar to be a Sith Lord then having Ahmed Best team up with Simon Pegg from the dark Crystal might work for Gorge Lucas.

I think that Lucas really did plan that, but because of the negative pushback for the character, he changed it, which is a shame. Lucas knows, I hope somebody asks him.

K The ONLY! Cool things Disney did with Star Wars...Lukes projection fight with Kylo..he rolled in that floating kind of gymnastic force way. Then in The Mandalorian was bringing Luke back into the modern "canon". 2 less than 10 minutes thats kept up hope in Lucas Star Wars film-verse thats made billions and billions and even more billions to come.
With regards to fan fiction are the expanded universe/legends novels not a form of glorified fan fiction if they are not classed as canon? Just a thought. 😀

Those movies are known to make jokes the come from the real world. If you remember the Batman movie, what does Batman has has Password? "Iron Man sucks!" and Iron Man is not even in the same universe as him! 😂
