I really enjoy your videos. I am not a huge Chevrolet guy, but your enthusiasm is contagious! I really don’t enjoy buying vehicles, but a sales person like you could change my mind. Too bad I live 1,000 miles away.
I live 2 miles from the highest volume Chevrolet dealership in the country. However, I am very impressed how your little dealership rocks. Despite the fact that you are part of a large auto group as wel as Classic is. It's a shame that the industry never really embraced the customer experience early on like
yours has. They are few and far between in the U.S.
Edwoll77, which dealership is that that has the highest volume?
@@tomm3218 Classic Chevrolet in Grapevine Texas. They have been winning best Chevrolet dealership awards for many years since they opened.
Little? Schumacher has 5 Chevy dealerships in NJ.
@@STORMZ8 I was referring to that 1 location. Not the whole dealership group.
Good luck on the 'burb sale....Agree 100% about the Impala being underrated. Ashame that Chevrolet dropped that model, way better looking than a Malibu.
The 2023 Colorado will sell so well with this redesign. Looks fantastic.
I agree!
Ed is a legend
I visited a Hyundai dealership this week. If I wanted a hybrid they were taking orders for 2024. If I wanted an EV they were taking orders for 2025. I told them I might as well order a Corvette. They also told me that the factory would not deliver them vehicles for stock. They only receive vehicles that were sold. If a deal falls through after delivery they must return the car to the factory, they are not allow to keep it. Crazy.
I always liked the Impala, if they wouldn’t have discontinued that model I’d in all likelihood be driving one now. The swing to SUV’s isn’t for everyone. I thought the large sedan market would never dry up like it did. Those SUV’s sit up too high for is “old folks”, we need something comfortable that’s easier to get into. I grew up in the 1960’s and the Impala was a great car back then, especially the Impala SS. Sure would love to have one now. Have a good one.
It's too bad they stopped producing the Impala any more .loved all your videos Dave. And yes I loved the new design Colorado .soo much nicer than the old ones.
I like when you have deals and talk about the details. It has been a while since things have been so slow. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
With all those incentives you were talking about for the Bolt, I’d be willing to bet that’s going to be your next car again!
It would probably be a smart financial move
@@DaveBsellsChevy but are you going to flip it?
I agree about the Impala because my dad had one for work and it was underrated
SHOUT OUT TO THAT BOY EDDY!!!
Thanks for the video Dave B! Good to see you Ed!
👍
That Suburban is very nice and sharp if you get that CRV i would be interested
Cool music 3:15
I love my 2013 Impala its been a reliable car since we brought it.
Ask Crazy Eddie to sit down tell us one of his legendary sales stories. Pulling the glasses apart before he starts is a must.
We'll get him in some videos 👍
Hey buddy great video and have heard that the new Ford lightning been haven trouble with some of there features
Ed is awesome! Adds a great element to your videos!
Thanks for the preview of the 23 Colorado. It looks awesome. You are the man! 😎
I'm loving the new interior!
@@DaveBsellsChevy love for them to make a zq8 Colorado. I've had the 2.7 and 8 speed Auto in my Sierra for 30 months and 44k miles. It goes when pressed and cruise's very efficiently. Normal avg is around the mid 25 - 26 mpg love to get this in the new Colorado with lowered suspension and a realistic upper 20's avg.
Can you pls do a short video about Tahoe duramax diesel in terms of fuel mpg compared to V8. Tnx
They finally got the Impala right, but it was too little too late. Our neighbors had one white Impala after another for thirty years and replaced it with a Hyundai right before this last version of the Impala.
I agree, when that last generation Impala came out it really was a big step up but just never caught traction.. At lease not in our area.
@@DaveBsellsChevy It was finally more than just another rental car. It just came too late unfortunately.
that zr2 in the dealer is so nice
not gonna lie, Chevy killed it with the Colorado. looks amazing inside and out. Also nice that you guys are getting Tahoes in! can't remember the last time you guys had sitting inventory hah
I agree, that new Colorado looks great! Can't wait to see it in person
Good seeing you Ed
Once again, great video! I love your positive attitude.
Thanks so much!
I hope you sold the suburban and as always another awesome video Dave B 👍
Dave,
Love you video's. I am looking to get into the car sales profession. Timeline will probably be Sept/October this year. I am a veteran or 20 Years in the Army (retired 1 Jan 20), and just completed 2.5 Years of teaching High School students World History. Now since I am retired, I can do things that I always wanted to do and being a car sales professional. I love cars and what better time than now-ish. I have been immersing myself in watching video, taking classes, and reading as much I my head space and timing will absorb. Not sure of a brand yet, between Mopar and chevy as of now. Ant advice, way ahead? Thank you and keep up the great videos.
I say go for it! Learn by doing.
Another great video Dave. Shame you don’t have any inbound or on the ground Bolts. I want one before Charge Up runs out.
Curious about your desk computer-does the dealership provide you with it or do you have to buy one and install it yourself
It's the dealers
I had reserved a 1le ss in blue new at Msrp how rare was that and they had it in transit but it wasnt shipped yet.. I ended up getting a gr86 at Msrp because it was closer and I like they way they drove.
Question, do you have a carmax around you and if so, do you send people there for a better buy deal then bring to you the bigger down payment?
No, the closest one to us is probably about an hour away
@@DaveBsellsChevy yikes. They offered me $36k for my 2019 Silverado 1500 LT. Had little north of 8k mikes on it. Everything stock. Added tono bed cover
That new Colorado is awesome, been looking at a 4Runner TRD Off Road Premium to replace my 2015 Malibu but after this newest release by Chevrolet, might be looking at this truck now. Question for you Dave B, what are your thoughts on the 8-speed? Also why didn’t Chevrolet pair the 2.7L with the 10 speed found on the Silverados, Tahoes and Suburbans? Thanks for the great content!
Not too sure why they choose certain powertrain combinations.. I'm sure there is a method to their madness. Thanks for watching 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The new Colorado sure does look nice, but one thing to point out is the 4runner with the 4.0 v6 is going away after the 2023 model year. One of the best engines out there. I own a Tacoma and it’s a good truck, but that transmission is awful. Are you wanting to use it as a family car or do you need the truck features and a bed? They are two different vehicles.
@@DaveBsellsChevy sounds good Dave, thanks for replying, I’ll keep this in mind, I always love watching your videos, very entertaining…go sell some units!!!
@@IzaguirreC hi Christian thanks for replying and for the advice! It’s going to mainly be a family vehicle so I’ll probably go for the 4Runner. Was thinking a Colorado because the redesign looks throughly updated but I’ll probably never use the bed, plus that 8-speed has me concerned. Sorry to hear that about your Tacoma’s transmission. A buddy back in high school had a manual with the taco and he loves it, anyways that Tacoma is a solid truck…👍👍👍
Good luck on Monday Dave!!! 🤞🤞
Good thing that you took a vacation, and now you are very busy, MORE ED PLZ LOL
Wow your lot looks bare. Is there a markup on the cars you sell?
Yes, it has been pretty bare for the last year. We actually have the most vehicles currently in stock than we've had for a long time and we are still only at 19 units available.
Like always great video’s 🇺🇸👍🏻
Thanks 🙏
I wish I had as much hair as Dave and a new Bolt. 🤣
Why us the car at the port? Where is UT made??
We call it the port here in NJ. It has car that come in by ship and also rail car. Most GM products come in by rail.
Unfortunately they made the Impala wrong wheel drive.
You mentioning the rebate confirms to me that your next vehicle is definitely a 2023 Bolt of some sort.
It would surely be a great deal!
The Colorado looks good. Getting rid of the Extended Cab is a bad idea especially for fleet sales such as small businesses.
The Impala was the third most underrated car in the GM family. First it was the 2014-2017 SS, second was the Volt hybrid, then the Impala. The SS was much better than the Charger RT/ SRT and you didn't hear about problems with the Volt/Cadillac ELR compared to the Toyota and Lexus hybrids.
Gen 2 Volt is/was a GREAT car. I've owned two of them
Totally agree, those SS’s were awesome…
@@BigMike_6872 They really would have been hot if the SS had the longer body of the Caprice PPV.
@@DaveBsellsChevy Not only the Volt and the ELR but the GM EV-1 also was an excellent electric car and thy had the right lesser to be the spokesman: actor Ed Begley Jr. who loved the EV-1.
Excellent vblog again!!! Def more Ed and more choices of pizza lol
Thanks Greg!
So Dave, are you going to upgrade your Bolt with all those incentives plus the reduction in MSRP for the 2023 model year?
It would certainly be a great deal in these times!
The trucks look like a Toyota
Dave, could you shed some light on when the build page for silverado hd's will be available?? i have the order guide, but as you know, there are no prices. could you do a video on factory order process, WHEN are dealer incentives valid, date of sale or date of delivery? these days, that could be a year away!! is there a better price than "friends and family" for non-employee??
I'm don't know when GM will release the build page and pricing. When you order a vehicle any incentive apply at time of delivery. Friends and Family would be a great price if you can get it. Right now my dealership is not participating in those programs.
I agree with you that the last gen Impala was/is a great car. I have a 2014 Buick La Crosse which is basically the same car & platform (shared w/ Cadillac XTS too) as the latest Impala, which ran longer. The car is so comfortable, roomy & gas efficient as well as reliable. When my 2014 La Crosse's life is up, I would consider the newest low-mileage Impala I could find (2020 I think was the last year, maybe 2021). I've thought it was a shame that Chevy kept the Malibu but axed the Impala. The Impala was the superior car in every way, & they could have sold it for about the same $$$ as the Malibu & made money... & it would have been more competitive against the Malibu's competition (Accord, Camry, Sonata). Dave: keep up the great work!
Hey Ed, you the man
I just bought a 22 black wt colorado with the nicer rims with v6 on july 4 just waiting for it to show up at the dealer .Tobe honest as much as the 23 is a up grade looks wise not crazy about having a turbocharged engine it’s just more crap to potentially go wrong down the road if the turbo goes out .I had a friend with a 2008 mazda speed 3 that had its 2and turbo go out and it destroyed the engine
Congrats on your new Colorado!! Enjoy 👍
Are you watching King of Cars - Tobin Dodge in Las Vegas on YT ? it's a hoot ! Gotta get you out there....!
I've seen them back on 06/07 when they were new and also recently just binged them again. I like the show. It definitely looks like a fun but high pressure store to work at.
I loved that show wish i could find full episodes on line
@@classicxl ruclips.net/p/PLcviVtB85dLz1DbaEULlJ1Cf-5WimOJva ENJOY!
Dave, everyone needs a turbo sidekick. Ed is yours.
Lol
what about the Silverado bison?
Hey dave , Quick question is there no 2022 malibu's for sale? or the last production was 2021?
They still make the Malibu. There will be a 2023 model.
I’m gonna be in the market for a 2018-2019chevy Bolt Premier! At the end of the year! Looking for the Red Tintcoat color as well! With our without the new battery replacement yet? Do you think you could help me then? I live in Bethlehem Georgia! Thanks!
Hey Robbie. The only way I could help is if you wanted to physically come to NJ. My dealership requires the buyer sign docs in person at the dealership. We also do not get involved with shipping vehicles.
didn't Ed appear in some of Thomas Edison's first films?? Believe he did.
What's that rumbly v8 at 4:11? It sounds bad ass!
That's actually sound from GM's b-roll footage of the Colorado. Maybe it is the 2.7L high output!
@@DaveBsellsChevy Huh, That's something
Joe: I got a customer here and…
Me: LET’S GOOOOOO WE GONNA SELL A CAR COME ON, DAVE!!
Na Got 22 no turbo 4 V6 in my ZR1 got rid of 2020 trax for the turbo 4 1.2
The tax rebates will just drive the price of EVs higher.
good day
Is the Bolt yours? It is very nice. I have a 2018 Impala, love it. Sad they stopped making them. You did an excellent video a while back comparing the Traverse and the Accadia.Glad to see some inventory starting to build up a bit. Great video as always Dave, stay cool .
This red one is actually Ed's. His family has two, soon to be three of them in the driveway.
@@DaveBsellsChevy if i wanted a bolt euv, would you recommend waiting for the 2023 to come out in a few months? What's the finance rate right now from GM??
I wonder if Sam and Dean Winchester helped sell any Impalas?
Chevy shoulda made a “Supernatural” edition….. trunk comes loaded up with weapons and features a Devil’s trap on the inside. 👍
Love the channel and have binged watched all weekend. I am from NC or would have come to see you to purchase my 2023 Tahoe RST I have a deposit on. I am curious if you are you seeing in transit vehicles delivered on their expected date or are they delayed?
Hey Kim! Welcome 👍 Tahoe's have been coming in slowly. Once your dealer has a VIN they can track the vehicle.
Fire video 🔥🔥🔥
Thanks Zayden 👍
Words of wisdom with Ed
I want to order a Bolt Euv!!!
Do it!
@@DaveBsellsChevy can you place an order for me?
That's really c***y pizza ! BTW, The black Colorado looks very good
Dave, did that Civic sell yet?
No, not as of yet
No longbed option at all seems like a bad idea. I suspect they are going to lose sales to the up coming ranger refresh unless ford decides to also get rid of the long bed. Chevy needs to get to the market with a Maverick competitor. With the inflation mid and full sized trucks are out of the question for a lot of people. Chevy could bring back the S10 branding.
Another great video.
I appreciate that! Thanks
Daytona, $7000 over MSRP on Tahoes, 15 in stock.
Ed is cool!
It's such a shame that Kia snagged the Telluride name. I was always thinking that would be a great name for a truck.
If anyone is paying attention, I don't see anyone using the Alta name.
sounds too close to altIMA lol
@@Cory69 Not to me. Alta means high or elevated. It's also a great ski area. Altima is derived from ultimate.
Taos was another great name and VW snagged it.
BTW.. I can't see a KIA and not see killed in action.
Yooooooo get it keep selling the metal
Right on!
Ed is a superstar
Have you heard anything about new Bolts waiting for batteries being pushed up to the top of the list?
I have a deposit on an euv and
Not sure how much longer I should wait.
I did hear just the other day that GM wants to get all 2022 batteries changed by end of Sept rather than the end of the year.
@@DaveBsellsChevy My wife wants to wait for the battery but I think we we should wait until next year especially with the possibility of the $7,500 credit coming back.
Let’s go Ed
He's been on a tear in the recent weeks. writing a lot of deals!
Gandhi would have bought land cruiser
Hey Dave, calm down.
When can I order a 2023 Bolt EV? I'm still intending on getting the 2LT, I don't know what if any incentives Virginia offers for EV's. I got to sit in a EUV for about 20 minutes once in a showroom. I need to try again and hopefully drive one before I order it. I need to find out what, if any, incentives Virginia gives for EV's. I have about half a dozen Bolt questions I need answered before I buy.
Hey Rob, You can place an order now. We already have a number of 2023 Bolt's on order and scheduled for production. It will all depend on how many your local Chevy dealer are allocated.
Sunroofs are great when your buying a new vehicle. Later in life, they become someone’s nightmare, lol 😂. I’m old enough to remember the late 70s sunroof craze
I’ve had 10 cars with sunroofs. Only 1 gave me a problem-VW Jetta. The drain hoses failed. Leave it to the Germans for performance, but the Japanese and Americans do quality better.
@@thomasyenner2499 their great when they vehicle is new to about 6-8 years old. After that, it’s usually a nightmare that never ends. Motors, clogs, leaks, etc.
ED IS THE MAN!!!!!!!!!
I like the show.
Only closers get pizza!
want to send me tahoes? we cant get enough of them at my dealership
EDDY! EDDY! EDDY!
Anything requiring government subsidies to survive is why taxpayers have lost billions in the last forty years, which includes EVs.
Not sure it is to survive as of yet.. probably more to push it to thrive
Wow, the only way they can sell the Bolt is by MASSIVE incentives… If electric cars were economically viable they’d sell. But they’re not so they don’t.
So, isn't it smart to take advantage of those incentives while they are available?? In the past we had 20% off sales on gas cars due to them not selling.
Wished that you work at a Toyota or a Subaru dealership. I am not a Chevy guy not I know anything about them. I don’t like the salespeople at my local Toyota dealership.
4cyl turbos…hard pass
First viewer!
Right on 😎
Are you still selling over msrp?
Yes, currently at $2500 over on everything except Tahoe/Suburban which are $4000.
@@DaveBsellsChevy what’s your take on supply and demand. Some are stating repos are on the rise and prices will get more back to normal later this year.
Selling over sticker is a bad business decision because it hurts return business & there are plenty of other dealerships selling at sticker.
You gotta be rich, they only because I guess I eat you up
Running around like crazy ???!!! As of a matter of fact. Are you still running ? (you know. with your legs on the pavement) HA.
Yes sir.. Currently training for another marathon this fall. I'll be out there for my weekly long run tomorrow morning.. did 17 miles last Sunday so I'll top that by a mile or two tomorrow.
Sadly new Colorado will still have the zonky shakey rattley 8 speed junk transmission. At least Ford puts the ten speed in Rangers. Cheap GM.
