I learned that scent is a picture that is constructed from using different pieces of puzzle . I am quite inspired to create my own scent. She talks about scent as a painting and I never thought of of scent like that. she kinda changes the way how we see and smell scent .

As a vegetarian, I loved the fact when she said that she doesn't add any animal part in her perfumes. I would love to try her perfumes one day.
Truly fascinating, and yes, I could listen to her all night as well. Cannot wait to get a bottle and would love to get one for my mother for Christmas. I think her perfume would be wonderful gifts.

Outstanding video Doc! It is so good to listen to how a perfumer thinks. It was mesmerising. I have been wanting to try her perfumes but last time i tried she was in the process of shifting to a new website. Definitely going to try them now. I am interested in knowing if she has found a way of replacing the animalics like musk,ambergris,civet ,castoreum etc which are my favourites 😊

I bought these. If you dont want to go through the bother of heating oud chips using coal ,heaters etc this is a solution. It is like heating a high grade wallapatta chip. Worth the money IMHO.

Wonderful video, and her collection looks wonderful as well. It's one of those cases where I wish I could sample everything and pick a signature scent, something truly special. But since she's in Australia and the sample packs aren't cheap (unsurprisingly, since they're all-natural and created by her), it's prohibitive. Truly a shame. Thank you for introducing me to this perfumer, though. I have bookmarked her website.

I love your videos and the authentic way you describe what you experience. Could you please tell us what your take is on her „Kodama“? The components sound interesting, but I‘d like to have your expertise before ordering some. Thank you and keep on going!
It isn't a hugely oud smell. It is a lovely introduction to a slightly woody/floral oud. It isn't loud or will fill a room. Kodama gently filters the area around you.

I was checking her website, I noticed one of her perfumes is after Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan; got curious who he is. Searched it on youtube, its 2:45 am and I cant stop listening to him. I am Iranian and cant even understand what he says but it is amazing!
I live in Australia, I wish I knew where I could smell her fumes before committing buying, since they are a bit pricy. But Im sure they are great.
Yes I ended up sleeping after 4 am. The music is just unearthy and loved the fact all people of all faiths listen to it and unite and enjoy it. I loved the Ali Mola immensely. It is just incredible!
That is great I live in Brisbane too :) Now I just need to track her down. I hope she would have a sort of store somewhere selling her products, though I doubt it.
Teone sells sample sizes too. A great way to try before committing to a full bottle.

Thank you for the kind words. Previously I have worn/loved Deep Purple (Montale), Coromandel (Chanel/Les Exclusifs), Angel (Mugler), Bottega Veneta, C'est La Fete (Lacroix), neat patchouli straight outta the flask and now I wear and love from my range, Eau Naturel, Siddartha and Tallemaja.
Where i get original esstial oil
Amazing content. I love her reasonings and motivation. Seems that for international customers, we can only sample the oil based perfumes. I might seek her stuff if i ever visit my relatives in OZ land.
Teone's oils are superb and are of equal or better quality than the edps.

Are synthetic perfumes as toxic as some people claim? And do you know of any houses (Western or Eastern) that use all natural ingredients? Thank You
A lot of the synthetic fragrance notes aren't bad but often the things they add for stability and for other reasons not related to smells, can be extremely bad for you.

I just received my recent order of Embers 2012 and it’s gotta be bad batch, it smells really terrible. Strongly of eucalyptus and paraffin wax and some other harsh cleaning chemical smell. Also when I opened the box the perfume was very hot to touch. I had to return it, it hurt my nose to smell it. I don’t think I will be ordering any more TRNP perfumes in Spring, Summer or Fall. UPS is terrible at storing the boxes. I’m always getting very hot perfumes. But this I think was a bad batch. I don’t know.
Something sounds odd. You should take it up with TR I guess.

I don't like her attitude...I know that is pretentious of me but I feel if I don't care for her snobbery then it will also come across in her perfumes as well. Most of the other perfume/attar makers have a sense of humility and servitude and that is more appealing to me.

So, at first, the story about dropping and breaking a bottle in a restaurant, leading to some lady following her around, seemed very made up to me.
Because if it's in a restaurant then how much would you be moving? How much "following around" could there have been?
Also she said that the lady "kept asking" about where she could get the perfume.. I mean why wouldn't Teone just tell her it's called bleep and you can get it at bleep.com?
BUT, then I tried searching for night song, since she was talking about it in such an enthusiastic way, and guess what? I can't find anyone selling it, what so ever... And now the story seems much more plausible to me.. The lady didn't chase teone around the restaurant.. She just asked where to get it, Teone probably told her, she went back to her table searching for it on the phone couldn't find it and came back to Teone...
Who the hell praises their own products like that and then discontinues the product shortly after? I don't even know if it is discontinued, because Basenotes.net tells me it is still in production, although they don't seem to sell it... If anyone can find an online shop carrying night song please let me know!

her website has Night song listed for sale, or you can contact her for any other perfume that interests you, I have many of her perfumes and they are very well blended, yes costly but no so much as others
I don't believe what this lady says, I'm sorry. No one has been able to recreate what Mr. Jacques Guerlain or other legendary perfumers did in the past with their masterpieces. For me, trying, it sucks. I'm sorry about the comment, but I'm honest and that's how I feel

I gladly pay the prices she asks. Her works blows me away every time. And the money goes to Teone - not a group of clever marketing gurus. Teone makes the whole thing; except her bottles. The hours she pours into her work is under represented in her prices.
