Need more Rasasi reviews, love the house, it is getting more and more popular in Europe and US.
Would really want to see a video as this about storing, self-life, maturing, aerating in depth, we all know about heat and exposure to light, but there is more then that when talking about enjoying and collecting perfumery in the long run.

First of all I wanted to say that I really like the way you talk about this hobby. I feel like its really well balanced, and mindful.
In terms of the way to test fragrance longevity, your suggestions of where to spray it proved that despite reformulation, Issey Miyake’s l’eau d’issey pour homme still lasts at least 6 hours on my skin which is a huge reassurance for me as I love the smell of this one and its so far my favourite fresh summer type fragrance as far as designer fragrances go.
    Thanks again for your content.

Great video . Spot on,. Very professional done. Was about time for a video about this topic which is a huge problem for me especially because i dont have enough fragrances in order to have a decent rotation. This is the biggest problems with most of us normal people who have just a few bottles, and most are frustrated because they are not informed about this fatigue and how it works and they complain all the time that they dont feel the smell after wearing it the second or the third time, cause they keep reapplying every three hours, and our nose and our sense of smelling is overwhelmed, but people around you are able to smell it even after 7-8 lol. I hope now they will understand. THe problem is that in winter time you cant apply on ur forearm, lol. Its not always the fragrance fault, although if its totally synthetic and with low quality ingredients of course has a terrible performance and it will not project, but even with niche fragrances yuou experience the same think and thats because of the olfactory fatigue. They should solve this problem by having at list 20 fragrances in rotation and also to knwo how and where to apply cause one of the main reasons of the olfactory fatique is that almost all apply on the chest right under the chin which is WRONG cause ur sensory perception and the smell receptors are overloaded by the smell that keeps bumping into ur nose, and it gets used with the smell, imune and insensitive very quickly. Bathe in OUD hahaha. Great job ES. Cheers.

Always a pleasure to listening to you. Indeed i agree with everything, i also notice that my sense of smell becomes better after a while not wearing heavy fragrances, and when i'm testing a lot of heavy fragrances my sense of smell gets overloaded, to the point i start dislike certain fragrances that i love, only to give a break and starting loving them again.

Excellent fragrance discussion! I have certainly experienced olfactory fatigue. At the very beginning of my niche fragrance journey last year, I made the mistake of NOT acknowledging this phenomenon and would immediately shelf a "non-performing" perfume. My first example was Royal Oud by Creed. In the current phase of my fragrance journey, I am exploring the concept of season-specific fragrances: a realization that I should not limit me enjoyment to heavy, dark woody scents. In that context, I recently reached for Royal Oud and enjoyed the scent the ENTIRE day! Similarly, I have learned to appreciate the value of wearing one fragrance for several days in a row. This gives me the opportunity to experience the interaction with my skin in varying environments. Equally important, it creates more opportunities for responses from others that may smell the fragrance even when I do NOT. Thanks again!

Hi Nikhil, It was so nice to hear you speak about the different fragrances. I just came across your videos on Sunday morning. I must admit thatI got carried away by the simple way you explained. Now is the funny part. Today I went to Abdul Al Faransi’s shop and I bought the Baghdad and the Istanbul. I thought that Mr.Anthony would be there. But unluckily he is on a business trip to Grasse. His son was there. A young boy I would say but he helped me a lot. The aroma and the beauty of both of them were amazing. Out of this world I must admit. And strangely as you said with a reasonable price tag. This was my first step in perfume oil zone. I feel so happy to think that you with your hard work and sincerity helped me on my first stepping stone journey. A big big THANK YOU to you.
