Yeah man, 100% - cutting sighted corners as soon as possible to carry corner speed, winding the speed up before an overtake to sling shot past, proper forward planning and a driving masterclass. 😎👌
I had the same noise in my Swift Sport, that was mentioned, no one could find the problem, ended up being worn steering rack bushes, awesome video by the way,
Thanks Timmy. He did find it in the end, and I can't remember what it was! 🤦♂️ He sure knows how to drive it, you'll have to come on a PHT and see if you can keep up! 😜
@@RickTheSpud I’m Glad he did, enjoyed the hell out of me and car dealer ended up getting new stuff installed that didn’t fix the issue so bonus for me in the end, it’s great now, would love to one day, New Zealand here, I gave it good drive on my Xmas holidays, surprisingly fun these cars, love it, lots of hilly windy roads here,
Shaun's a mega driver for sure! A Masterclass! 😎 And thanks Ian, wrap up felt a bit rambly, but it was great to watch it knowing I filmed it back in October. 🤗
Another great video Rick. Shaun impressed everybody when I did my first trip in 2019. He is a much better driver than me. Love the clip of you and Pete on the way back and both of you seemingly asleep.
Thanks Peter. He's a mega driver for sure, keeping up with fast stuff with a quarter of the bhp! Full send! Love that little sleeping gag, done it to many a passenger! 😜😂
Nice job Rick, that Dukes Pass bit brought back so many memories, lovely bit of switchback road that, I was just up ahead of you in the Gen 1 R8, good work, keep it going.
Iv mentioned on other videos including this cars and drivers other video how much I love these and will buy one long story short iv ended up with 2.5 x more savings than expected a good 80k now I'm torn between a swift sport 1.6 in mint condition or a rand new I 20 N
Ooo. Well if you've always wanted one then go for a Swift first, run that for a bit and then an i20N. The Swift will prob feel old and slow if you do it the other way round. 😉
We have a Swift sport 2019. I believe it can keep up with any car around the lanes ……. Shame about the straights and you have to be so careful about the horses, cyclists etc They are great little cars ….
@@RickTheSpud "Sighted " overtakes? Lucky more like. I guess the speed limit here is 60. Doesn't mean that's safe. Irresponsible doesn't do it justice, I pity the locals. Nurnburg Ring is where you should be. Wannabe Clarksons. Grow up.
If you can't confidently and competently drive like this then don't try. This isn't dangerous. Crying over videos of speeding in built up areas, drifting, and burnouts is where you should focus your time...
That Swift, some seriously committed and talented driving.

Wonderful advertisement for Scotland and petrol engines 🏎👌🏻
Mega place Scotland, roads, scenery, lack of traffic... 😎👌

@@timmytrd Ah brilliant, love a good session on the twisties! 👊😎
Brilliant series Rick! I wish I could get as much out of my 165BHP as the Swift Peddler did - Legend!
Thanks man! 🤩
Haha, I know right! 140hp never felt so fast! Amazing driving! 😎👌
Wow what a great peddler in the Suzuki! Nice little wrap up at the end too Rick!
Shaun's a mega driver for sure!
A Masterclass! 😎

@@RickTheSpudhi, totally agree, mega driver keeping up with 911s, and r8s. With just 140hp, knows his stuff mechanically too. Great vid, thanks.
No worries. Thanks Keith. He definitely knows how to drive that thing! 👊😉

Yep! 🤗
"Have you ever met David North?" 🤣🤣🤣
😉😂 I was getting flashbacks!
You’re so lucky having that scenery in your backyard.
Awesome isn't it, altho not quite in our backyard, it's 10 hours away! 😜
@@RickTheSpud you’re lucky. Takes me 22 hours in a plane when I visit.

Thanks Amer, good fun wasn't it, as you say great bit of road! 😎👌
Great stuff again mate 👍🏻
Thank you buddy, just love being on these trips as you well know, which I could do them all! A real drivers trip! 🤗❤️
PX my SSS for an i30N wish i could have Kept the SSS a most underated Car.
Especially this one, tweaked to perfection, and in the right hands. What a weapon! 💪
Extra points for you holding the mic and not the driver! However you are deducted points for saying ‘nukiller’ as opposed to nuclear submarine. 😉
😂😜👌
HT + engine sound, give need for speed vibes
True dat! 😎

Cheers buddy!

Yeah IMO you can't beat a fun little hatchback that you can actually use to it's full potential! Makes you a better driver as well! 👊😎
Hi how did you go about lowering the drivers seat? Very Much appreciate any info
Not a clue, I'll ask him... 🤷♂️
@Rick The Spud cheers Rick please do & post back :) much appreciated
@@jodyh4805 Shaun says...
the drivers seat has some adjustment in it, or if you want to go lower you need a lowered seat frame from Japan! 👊
Forgot to mention the stage 2 driving gloves 😋
Better than a remap! 😜
Is this on public roads??? Really?? WTAF.
Why's that? All sighted overtakes and under the speed limit.
