Solid 8/10 issue. I liked the diversion to delve into Starscream's story, but I'll be honest, after two months, I'm glad to have the story go back to the current day. Daniel Warren Johnson did a stellar job balancing the Optimus Prime in the first arc (the more traditional "strong enough to be gentle" Optimus), and the darker version of the last arc. His moment with Arcee was peak "strong but gentle" Optimus. Was also happy to see Trailbreaker back, albeit briefly, and I'm looking forward to seeing what they're going to do with Bluestreak and Elita-One, and Cliffjumper's reaction to being thrown into that faction. Bonus surprise: early on, it looked like Spike was facing permanent below-waist paralysis, but dude's on crutches now, showcasing a possible recovery.

A great listen, Carl. Since I'm still not sure how far into this series I'll end up reading, I figured I'd give it a listen. Besides, I also figured that even if I do end up reading up to this issue, by the time I get here I'll have forgotten everything you revealed in this video! 😂
