Yours looks identical to my 2012 IS 350, back when it was still stock. It’s amazing how nicely the 2is has aged over time. Great video man! The low cost of ownership is one of the reasons why bought my 350.
I wanted to start this year with some mods, but as they say, the best first mod is maintenance! I love the 2is because of the styling details that are similar to the LFA and also because it is an amazing car. All that with a very affordable cost of ownership is amazing!
Very helpful, enjoyed your video and the humor. I just bought a 2011 IS250 used car from Japan. I can't give a detail comment yet because it's fairly new to me but I love how smooth the ride is compared to my Rav 4 2010 model. Another reason is that our sealed roads are not that smooth so it's a good feel not to feel every little bump. Sound system in the car is good but it may have been upgraded by the previous owner, the only issue is that I can't change the sound system without messing up the configs because it's in Japanese language so that's a bummer... It has a aux connection which compensates. I just got my car washed and tyre polished as well and drove out and a rain storm came so yeah....tropical weather woes. :) Commenting from Papua New Guinea.
Hey, an actual JDM Is250 is really cool! Roads here aren’t that good either, but the car’s suspension really compensates for it. For your issue with the sound system I could recommend swapping the infotainment system, there are a lot of aftermarket radios for this car with some really nice features and good price too! I have kept my original radio because of the dvd feature, so if you like that too you could get an oem one that has your preferred language on it. I hope you can really enjoy your car!
I've been loyal to Acura and honda for over 20 years... I finally switched up last week and bought a 07 is250 instead of an 08 TL ... I'm satisfied for sure but my biggest gripe is the rear seat space, it's hideous, they might as well shortened the wheel base a tad and made it a 2 seater
Great car dude. Im looking for one in the Dominican Republic( in that color if is possible or white ) what’s your avg mpg in the city or the avg amount you spend in the city, I will not be doing as much miles per week as you but I’m looking for an estimate, I have a 09 type s corolla so I know I will feel the difference right away
I spend most of my time in the highway, so I would say that almost a 100 miles in the city per week. But considering the car you have, yo are going to spend a bit more on gas.
@@bluecoopermotors it’s okey, I only have the Corolla to save on gas 🤣, I’ll try to keep it to use as my daily ,but I can manage the increase in gas money just to have the car that I like.

Yeah, rear seat space is not that good on the car, but I barely use it so I noticed thanks to people pointing it out in my videos😂
@@Extravagant_Grace yes, I wish I would have just bought another acura.
I'll be selling this lexus soon and buying another TL or accord
@TheRealKabotai I personally love the 3rd generation TL mostly the 07 and 08 models as they have a more reliable transmission
full tank in the UK is over £95 GBP in June 2024 ;)
Here in Puerto Rico it is still $50 dollars, gas is actually a bit cheaper now than a year ago

How tall are you? Looking at getting one but everyone says its tight inside with the sunroof. I am 180cm.
I’m 180cm too and the car is extremely comfortable in the front. My seat is not all the way down or to the back either so you’ll be fine!
Any issue with carbon buildup?
Knock on wood, ive had none
@bluecoopermotors thanks. As I'm in the market for one but heard from some reputable mechanics about that issue especially in is250
It is something you should know about the car, but if you treat the car right it will treat you right
經典 Beautiful
