If Nintendo ever opens up a theme park, they need to make a DKC2 themed roller coaster with exactly this music playing and exactly those weird karts. Just maybe... Without all the deadly traps and the broken roads.

It has that horn that ascends and descends that I am 100% sure is supposed to represent the roller coaster going up and down. Also you hear the bits of screaming that is literally supposed to be screaming. Kind of like on a rollercoaster.
+RighBread sorry to burst all bubbles here but i am obsessed with this game.The screaming sound is actually from the firework animations in the background of the stage. I used to think it was screaming but if you look carefully on the stage you'll see what im talking about. They sync perfectly.
+drewsterman actually I disagree because the fireworks actually have their own separate sound in the game they are a world sound like the player enemies and interactive items are not a part of the sound track

It's from the initial launching of the fireworks not the booming explosion afterwards in the game.
There's a random radio station in southern Ohio that plays video game music instead of the normal stuff. Best two hour drive ever.
