Thank you, I was wondering how I was suposed to peel them, Im gonna try to soak them like you did 😂
Some are tougher than others to peel! Let me know how soaking works out for you 🥑🥑🥑
hi! one question, how do you get the holder disk?? im trying to grow an avocado, and i need the tray to hold it up!
edit 1 (please respond in 3-4 days or less!)
Hello! We sell the propagation discs on our website. The one in the video is our upcycled stone disc and linked in the video description. But you can also make your own or use toothpicks - a very popular way to hold the seed up over water.
i will consider buying one then! thank you so much!
thank you i m going to try it!
Let us know how it goes for you! ☺💚

Hi. What about cutting the stem every time it grows to 12 inches is that needed😮
Hello! I would say pruning is optional. You can trim the stem if you want it to grow back thicker or branch out, but it is not necessary. I have a bunch of avocados I have left unpruned for years. They just get tall!
Wow it really worked when I tried it
@@PadmaTammineni-vo2df amazing! Share pics if you can 💚 🥑 🌱
when I wrap the seed in paper + water in the dark, should I wet the paper every day ? Or during the day ? along the weeks
Not everyday, only add water if the paper starts to dry out. If you store it in a sealed container, you really only need to check it once a week or so.
Great trees for bonsais
yes! 💚
oh! i have another question! hot, lukewarm, or cold water to put avocado seed in?
edit 1 (please respond in an hour or so!)
@@mysticoutlaw2497 room temperature water is ideal
oh shoot. I did cold
@@mysticoutlaw2497 I’m sure it will be ok. Just for future best to use room temperature to avoid shock
@@RT1home oh okay! ty
My roots have turned black. Is this normal or what should I do? Thanks
Are the roots slimey and breaking up in the water? If so, they could be rotten. You might be able to salvage them if you trim off the bad roots and put in fresh water. If not, you might need to start propagating a new Avocado seed 🥑
Do I change the water
@@BobaTea-b2h yes about once a week or whenever the water starts to get murky or smelly. We have a more detailed full length video here and changing the water info is mentioned at 07:08

Does the seed needs sunlight after placing in the glass?
Yes. If the Avocado seed is already sprouted you should place in a sunny location as Avocado plants love sun.
Where can I get the prop disk?
We sell Stone and Steel Prop discs on our website RT1home.com
Okay. Thanks a bunch.
I refuse to plant my avocado after growing it, that you sm for leaving that part optional 👏
yes! They are beautiful grown over water and take up less space compared to planted :)
How do they get nutrition?Just, in water..The sunshine & water is all this needs to survive?.Amazing.GOD IS GREAT.GOD BLESS EVERYONE...
@@captainu.s.a.7980 they get more nutrients if you plant them in soil but they are fine with just water (that you change regularly) and sunshine - they just won't grow as quickly or as much (compared to planted in Soil).
Do I need to replace the water? If so, how often?
yes - we recommend changing the water every week or 2, whenever the water starts to look dirty/not clear. We have more detailed steps on our blog post if you want more tips! rt1home.com/blogs/how-to/grow-an-avocado-plant-bag-sprouting-method
I planted it, but after a while the tips of the leaves turned black😢
the tips turned black or is it more dark brown? What kind of soil did you use? How much sun is the plant receiving? And how often are you watering it?
@@RT1home yes the tips turned black, put it in the water and I put it in the house ,,home lighting and sunlight from the window
@@RT1home I’m sorry my English is weak
@@raghdahgh1142 oh ok it's still in water. It's hard to say exactly, but you could try changing a few different things to see if it helps. It could be receiving too much sun if it looks like the leaves are burnt. Or, it could be too dry in your home, you might need to place it near a humidifier. Lastly, it could be a nutrient deficiency, you could try planting it in soil and adding some compost or fertilizer.
No hate but it is actually 1-2 hours not days
are you referring to the time to soak the seed before peeling?
@@RT1home yes
@@AngelAboud Timing really varies and all timing listed in the video are approximate guidelines - not exact. In my experience, it is better to wait at least a day to let it soak and remove the skin from the seed. There are so many variables pending on your environment and the seed itself. Some seeds are easier to peel than others. Glad you are able to peel yours so quickly!
