    Me and a buddy discovered rights field looking for trails for our RC crawlers, it quickly became one of my favorite morning rides on my mtb because it was close to my home at the time and I could hit a few laps before heading to work.

    I have to agree, Los Gatos is a great trail. Its my favorite trail even on my BMX Bike. Not too rocky and not too flat. Perfect for BMX, MTB, XC, and E Bikes. Great Video!

      Thanks, and agreed! I would ride E-Ticket a lot more if it was easier to access or had some other fun trails around it.

      There are other trails around it. I routinely do a 12 mile loop with two runs down e ticket and cover the entire west part of the park from north to south. I incorporate both the North and South parameter trail with very little fireroad necessary

    I finally made it out of eticket without having to get off the bike! It’s a fun ride especially when you incorporate shepherds loop. I love Los Gatos. I can’t get enough of the Laguna’s. I tortured myself by starting in Pine Valley and made it to Gatos and back. I’m pretty sure I’ll never do that again. Keep up the great videos.

    For those that like to get some air, there’s a jump park on the south side of Mission Trails that is a great add-on after riding e-ticket.

    Nice video showing some of San Diego's riding areas. My favorite area is the Laguna Mountains and Los Gatos is definitely outstanding and then we usually hit Big Laguna trail to Noble for a great long ride. I think the videos would be better if you used higher resolution as they seem blurry to me but I am not an expert. Thanks for sharing!

      Thanks! That's one of my favorite rides. The lower resolution was a result of my previous camera. Since I switched to GoPro, the resolution has definitely gone up.

    Hey man! I love your videos, super informative. I did want to know, because I am moving to San Diego soon, what is the status quo on pedal assist bikes? Are they allowed on the same trails as normal MTBs or are they classified as ebikes? Thank you, keep up the great content!

    • @MTBTrailReview
      @MTBTrailReview  Год назад

      Thanks! San Diego is semi-friendly to class 1 ebikes. It kind of depends on who the land manager is. This is a really good resource to figure out where they are allowed and where they aren't: www.sdmba.com/electric_mtb_info.php

    Really great video. I'm visiting San Diego next week and hoping to do some MTB riding while there. Would you have any suggestions on where to rent a nice full suspension mountain bike to go riding somewhere?

    • @MTBTrailReview
      @MTBTrailReview  Год назад

      Thanks! I would recommend Chainline Bikes in El Cajon. They're an awesome shop, and they rent ebikes, too, if you're interested. Give them a call and they can let you know what they have available. Definitely keep an eye on the weather, too. We have had record rainfall this year, and it's wreaking havoc on our trails. A lot of them are not rideable right now, and may not be for a couple of weeks. If you can get up to Vail Lake in Temecula, you'll definitely be able to ride. It drains faster, and they have a trail crew that keeps everything up and running.

      @@MTBTrailReview Thanks so much for the recommendation. Too bad with the rainfalls. Maybe it’s just not the right timing to get riding next week.

  • @SeriouslyBadFight

    • @MTBTrailReview
      @MTBTrailReview  Месяц назад

      These are all single trails in much bigger trail systems. If you download Trailforks and use it as a guide, it will show you where to park, as well as how to access these trails within each system.

    • @MTBTrailReview
      @MTBTrailReview  Год назад

      Of course! I highly recommend Chainline Bikes. Give them a call and they can let you know what they have available for rentals. Mt. Laguna would be my choice for one ride, but it depends on what time of year you'll be here. It's more of a summer/fall ride.

    • @jonjustinlanier

      @@MTBTrailReview ill be there in a couple weeks if that changes anything. Also ill be in the Encinitas area if there is anything of interest in that area.

    • @MTBTrailReview

      @@jonjustinlanier I would head up to La Costa. There are some really fun trails, and it's a much shorter drive. Laguna will likely still have some snow on the ground. I'm not familiar with the bike shops up there, but I imagine it won't be difficult to find a rental.
