Not to mention they got the meaning of the song wrong. The song is about physical abuse by the hands of ones parents. Sites like loudwire and watchmojo are fucktard garbage. Both are the FAKESTREAM media of music.
"Kill Me" off the "Life is Peachy" album was about JD wanting to kill his abusive step mum
closer is more or so about someone completely losing their humanity, and sex is the only thing that holds them together.
And I truly love it , it’s so deep and mentally related.❤️

Allan Ripper oh, thank you!!! :)
How much subtitles do you need for 7 Words ?.. Like it or not its about as one sided as any song has ever been..
Slipknot's Wait and Bleed is based on a person regretting slitting his wrists as he waits to die.
James Weidner Ghost by Bad Flower is about the same thing.
Just Like at least 75% of Slipknot Songs are about blood and death and Depression and all this stuff lel

Dayan "In the fire" can be pretty disturbing if you understand the backstory to it.
Down With the Sickness is a little disturbing with that mommy shit XD
The backstory is indeed disturbing, but the song isn't.
I'd not even say disturbing, it's pretty sad and all, but I wouldn't say depression and suicide are disturbing. They're more like, sad.
you guys missed maybe one of the most disturbing songs by rammstein, “wiener blut”, narrates the story of josef fritzl who locked his daughter in his basement and had kids with her…

Literally about a kidnapped child based on a true story.
It's an absurdly embellished story that in no way happened that way but sure.
Big_Boi was about to comment this like how??
@Iggsie your idea of based on a true story is worse than Hollywood's. The subjects in the song existed and the kidnapping happened. Nothing else is real
Nirvana are lame
@Big_Boi It is very spooky. Oh believe me. The story behind it is even more scary and unsettling.

"Jeremy" is a message to all bullies and ignorant parents who don't think of consequences of their actions towards teenage kids. It's not disturbing, it's eye-opening
It can be both a message and disturbing believe it or not. Your understanding of English might need some work.
A high number of tracks that people love are about dark subject matter.
The listener is where it becomes blurred.
A lot of people just listen and sing along without any real connection.
That's where music becomes magical.
It can suck you in with a catchy hook but the deeper you go, you can eventually understand and empathise with the subject matter.
That's IF the artist has actually done their best to be true.

So many songs here that were a part of my 'coming of age'. They gave voice and projection to the years when I became angry with the things I disagreed with, felt frustrated by the limitations due to my age and parental control and struggled with who and how I saw myself and wanted to be.

Over 30 years ago, at the 1st ever deathfest, in Detroit, a preist was walking around passing out flyers for christianity. My friend who was the bassist for Lucifers Hammer was talking to Glenn Benton (Deicide) and the preist approached him and asked "would you like to be saved?" While handing him a pamphlet. Glenn knocked all the pamphlets outta his hand and groweled "save YOURSELF, fuck!"

"Daddy" by KoRn would have been a good addition. the lead singer of KoRn broke down crying in the middle of the song, but kept on singing anyway, and they kept it as the main track. also, any cannibal corpse or marilyn manson song is game here, for obvious reasons.

Ik a lot of people who like songs strictly based on the beat but for me, as a musician and also the fact that I was a victim of abuse my entire childhood, I fall in love w both; the lyrics and beat together as a whole. I love how you can get so wrapped up in a song that you forget about everything else for that moment. I don’t know how I would have managed w/o music in my life, Hell…I still feel that way! One by Metallica will always be one of my all time favorites. I think people should realize what has, does, and will go on in war as well as the aftermath. Also, the beat is amazing. Actually, most of this list like Papa Roach and SOAD, are some of my all time favorite bands. Most songs that have disturbing lyrics are based on either the singer’s lives or the lives of someone they know. They are just letting their feelings out and when you feel what they’re trying to say….well then you know it is an overwhelming sensation.
Even though Mein Teil is extremely disturbing, I absolutely love the song.
Ha, only one Rammstein song made the cut... I can compile a whole list just off the top of my head.
Same here!
I'd say Tier or Weisses Fleisch are among the most "disturbing" but Rammstein is all about shock, I think. It's just something you expect from them. Hell, now there's Lindemann's "Praise Abort". Try that on.
+Daniel Gerard Tier and Weisses Fleisch, definitely. And as for Lindemann... I'd say Children of the Sun, as much as I love the song. It really opens up your eyes to how limited our time here on Earth is and that's a scary though, I think.
Because "THEY CANT GET LAID IN GERMANY!!"
Hmm; yes but they are still awesome, they love provocation, and mocking about how some persons think about them. They are pervers, but no more. Also no all the songs of Rammstein are disturbing,
..people love these songs because its real and its happening all around us.. these songs are eye openers.. unlike most of mainstream songs today..
Well said
Some people do, but that’s the exact reason that they’re not mainstream is because it’s real and makes you feel something whereas mainstream pop crap dulls everything down and numbs emotions

La Papa De Monsanto I was about to say the same thing he shot himself so he wouldn't go to jail and his family gets his money
La Papa De Monsanto I'm decidedly left-wing; as a matter of fact, I am to the left of the Democratic Party. However, what the Pennsylvania Democrats did to Republican R. At least he protected his family. RIP RBD. You were an honest man.
Yeah and I still love all of them. Because they have no filter. And life is not only about good things and thoughts. Art demonstrates life. So does the music and the lyrics. Art is not always happy ,cheerfull and good looking. Because life isn't either.
