    Love ninja yoghurt, but I use uht milk and turn to yoghurt, addng the live yoghurt straight away, but select temerature and choose ferment than its just 8 hours, doesnt need the boil stage. I’ve always let it cool and put in fridge, it sets so thick, want to try your recipe it looks yummy x

      @@susannahskitchen only know because when i had my 9 in 1 it was mentioned in a facebook group i saw, and ive done the same with 15 in 1 and it works fine. Just make sure its ‘UHT’ milk, and i used semi skimmed xx

    Would this work with skimmed milk & using half the ingredients as there is only the two of us, 2 big bottles of milk is a lot for us?

    How long does yogurt keep in the fridge? If only making for one, can the recipe be scaled down and would freezing it spoil it?

      @susannahskitchen  13 дней назад

      @@Terence-i4u Hi, I’ve not tried freezing it. Ours was still good after a week and a half so I’d estimate around 2 weeks if in a sealed container.

      Many thanks Susannah, I have a feeling there won’t be much left after two weeks even though it’s just me! Just seen that the book is on the way, great! Looking forward to getting it. 😊

    I make my own fat free Greek yoghurt each week, using long life milk skips the boiling and cooling as it’s already heat treated and I can’t taste the difference

      Commented but see it! Thanks to you I have successfully made superb yogurt 👍few tips which may be useful.
      1 once boiled in ninja I take the pot out and cook to 40 - 45c before adding starter the go straight to ferment on the ninja.
      2 once ready I take 3 tablespoons of the yoghurt and freeze it, defrost in the fridge when I want to use it which saves on purchasing active yoghurt.
      Thanks so much ❤
