Sky's communities correspondent Becky Johnson has gauged opinions in Swindon, where the population has also ended up with one in five people being born outside the UK.

Many skilled European and British staff left the NHS (left Britain)as a result there is less doctors. East European who used to work in British farms also left. There are several jobs in Britain that British people won’t do it. The migration problem is all over Europe. The solution is simple, send back home the illegal people , recruit more medical staff, cut benefits for those who are fit to work ,encourage British people to get require training to fulfill jobs, reduce taxes for working class and increase for riches. I don’t think Reform, Conservative or Labour would do that. British must vote to a party who representatives comes from the working class.

The demographics of this country has changed at a ridiculous rate lets be honest. For ethnic minorities it's great because they feel less like an outsider. But for most white people it's terrifying. Especially older white people.
Unfortunately the country is finished- I'm stick-42- old enough to remember before the mass immigration mess, but young enough to have to live another 40 years with the consequences. I wish I'd been of the generation to die in the 1990s before the mess began.

It’s not about whether they are working or not. It’s about the country is struggling with the amount of people. The hospitals, the roads, housing, doctors, cost of living. Everything is getting worse because there are too many people. But the government doesn’t care about that. They want to maximise tax £ and company profits. The UK is a business now, not a country.
It's always been about growth and profits that's all the elite care about
9 million economically inactive people who could fill these jobs. It's not about economics. It's culture, which is the central issue affected by mass migration, we can not assimilate the number of people who are arriving at the rate they are.
Do those people want to work? That is an important question.
@@shanghaichica Many either simply don’t want to work or don’t see it being worth it because they’re on benefits. I know people that stay on benefits and drift in and out of work because they make more that way.
It's primarily about economics. The whole necessity of continuous migration is in order to keep wages down and house prices up. Whilst using the growing population to help GDP line go up so that things on paper can somehow look rosey.

In a capitalist society, all that matters is the economy. As long the economy is growing that’s all that matters. My brother went for a job interview and over half of them who were candidates were foreign and because of that he never got the job it’s unfair to the British working man
Same happend with my little brother. He didn't get a job based on a team building exercise he did with a foreign lady who couldn't speak English (lack of communicationwas his feedback). She got the job though! I know this as I work at the same place.

I love the fact people always say people from the UK are picky about jobs “taken” by migrants. It’s actually quite simple, if the migrant didn’t accept the lower pay and conditions, it could push up pay and working conditions. No wonder British industry needs these workers, it’s saving them money!
What about migrants that work in the care sector on minimum wage, the same as their British counterparts. The fact is British people on whole are not filling jobs in certain sectors.

Since many of the businesses operating and profiting from doing business here would prefer to hire migrants instead of British voters, they won't mind paying the higher taxes necessary to cover the benefit payments of the British people they have chosen to exclude. There should be no complaints about tax from businesses. Migration is meant to compliment the existing workforce, not replace it. The same applies in every other country.

There is about 7 barber shops on one street where I live, I take my son into one regularly and there are different men in there every time, they can’t even cut hair so I took him to a “english” barbers after I actually found one to get a decent hair cut, clearly they are money laundering or just other ways to get other immigrants in, I’m not surprised a lot of Brits are moving out I’ll be next👍🏻
