- Introducing Captain Sarah Dallaire, the 1st female pilot with the Canadian Snowbirds with RCAF Association de l'ARC in nearly a decade.
Snowbird 2: Captain Sarah Dallaire
"Yes she's a trail blazer. Yes she's a pioneer. Yes she's a role model for women everywhere. But she didn't make this team because she's a woman - she made this team because she's a darn good pilot."

I met her last year and have a photo with her shes very well spoken and beautiful in person. Very brave Sarah salute on you..🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💕💕💕God Bless everyone who are serving our country..🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I have not met her but would love to! Her interviews in French sound really cool.
She was my instructor and taught me aerobatics. Fantastic person and very talented. Very proud of her to have been a Snowbird.
Can't believe the number of comments about her gender. She's obviously a good pilot, and that's all that counts.
Congratulations, Capt Sarah Dallaire. And our sympathy to the Snowbirds in this tragic time of loss. I'm rooting for you all to continue flying and giving every Canadian hope and memories to cherish.
What a wonderful role model!
She didn’t die guys it was someone else
A formal leader of the snowbirds said that it was a woman that died in the accident on national TV
Saanichton Ministries yeah, it was Jenn Casey not this woman
This pilot is married to another pilot
This pilot's husband is also a Snowbird pilot
@@debbiesigler6530 crazy either way
That's some beautiful birds!
As this is getting recommended to everyone since the crash the main woman featured here is not the one who was in the fatal accident
Captain Sarah Dallaire featured in this video was not involved in the recent incident. RIP Captain Jennifer Casey.
Fart
Fair bit of pressure on her now. Keep working hard, Sarah.
Beautiful video.
Dear Sarah, so wonderful to see Your Job, Your *Tool.....*
with much Respect,
wishing *All the Best, health and Luck,
Greetings from Germany,

Wish the Canadian government would reach into their pockets my tax dollars and give these pilots some new plans they deserve the best
Reaching the 5,000 HOURS mark is a Historic Moment
Royal Canadian Forces??
دي سياره شيك تتألق وكانها تطير مثل طائرت السماء تمتلك الون الراقي يجعلها تمشي علي الارض وكانها شبيها للطائره
🙂👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤✈✈✈🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
RIP
This pilot did not die.
After 10 physicals biannual, she may become the 1st Woman to make Snowbirds Male Female as much as Aircraft Pilots behind the U.S.' Amelia Airheart.
you go girl! the grim reaper does not discriminate!
Shame after her husbands crash they left, they are both doing SAR in BC i believe now.
Squad?... it’s called a Squadron. It’s the airforce, not NYPD
It used to be the "Royal Canadian Air Force" but now the planes just show "Canada" and there's all the bilingual stuff that must be to keep the French-Canadians from feeling downtrodden ("Vive le Quebec libre!" (1967).
Is this the pilot that just died in that horrific crash? OMG. Tragic. Crap planes. RIP, brave warrior. Just read in comments it was JC. Same sentiment. Prayers to her family and family of other pilot seriously wounded.
A two second google search and you could’ve learned the answer to your question. 🤦♂️
no
The pilot didn’t die in the crash either
@@spinner382 TY. Good to know!
Captain Jenn Casey wasn't a pilot. She was the squadron's Public Affairs officer. She was riding passenger. The pilot survived the crash.
She has NO BUSINESS flying with those men...Have to put her their to satisfy mandatory requirements.....Ashame!!!
You're an idiot. She did the tryouts, same as everyone else. She earned her spot. Stfu.
+John Burrows You FIRST need to learn to proofread before you send! WHAT are you on about, besides showing yourself to be a misogynistic dolt?!
+John Burrows And what are your credentials for making that idiotic determination? As an air force brat and the son of a 28-year RCAF pilot, I know my father would have been proud to have had a pilot of Capt. Dallaire's quality in his squadron. Your ignorance is exceeded only by your misogyny!
Why John ?
The only shame here is your ignorance.
you know how bizarre it is to label somebody either a black person or a female because of any reason. I thought the point was we're all equal so we didn't have to point out our differences to make point.
Black people are black. Women are well women. Whats your problem, apart from stupidity.
We see more trash in these comments than we would find in the nearby landfill. I see misogynistic, jealous males who could never perform anything requiring precision or talent, as they are simply, losers. They hate it, when women succeed in jobs they, themselves, could never perform. These guys barf when they go to Disneyland.
@MR MAGOO Now look up the Bud Holland and Alaskan C17 accidents. The literal case studies in how not to fly.
@MR MAGOO Then why don't you show her how it's done big man? 😂
@MR MAGOO You've won nothing but a life of misery. Hultgreen at least crashed attempting a carrier landing. Holland and the C-17 crew may as well have failed day one of flight school and are the literal poster boys of how not to fly.
Sarah as a old Huey crew chief you worked hard for you Job keep up the good work and always fly safe
dang she's cute
Thumbs-Up #22 I am, Sunday evening 13 October 2019! If I ever get the chance I will not miss meeting Canada’s Snowbirds, and Sarah! Hopefully her husband will be among them.
👍
Who is or should I say was the first ? confusing statements here.
Respect ! good job !
RIP
She's not dead...
Amelia Airheart, a Historic Woman in U.S. Aviation History, was a part of U.S. Naval Aviation , in an attempt to fly an Aircraft around Earth.
Confucius say, "woman that fly airplane upside down, has crack up."
r/shittyaskflying
Haven’t heard that one in over forty years.
@@2manyspruces heard it from Noah back when we were unloading the ark after a not so pleasant 40 days and 40 nights.
I'm not clear, if this is the young lady who just died in the Snowbirds accident my heart goes out to all family and friends. At least she was doing something she loved, and sounds like truly accomplished a lot. Nice to see more women in aviation these days. In my day it was a big deal to get a private certificate in a taildragger. Condolences. RIP.
No she was not. The PAFFO died, not a pilot.
This is not the same woman who had died in the recent crash, that had been Jennifer Casey. This lady doesn't even fly for the team anymore actually.
Sorry for my confusion. It was sad news.
yeah as if they dont have a gender quota now
nope
@@jimbomchooch6007 oh come on now I wasnt born yesterday
@@punishedkim8830 explain
@@punishedkim8830 Sure sounds like you were just born yesterday! What an idiotic comment. How about providing your credentials to make that evaluation, rather than just flapping your lips.
@@Wandering_Canuck yeah sure I will just dox myself because you are upset. Lol

All of this garbage is mandated
Educate yourself genius
Snowbirds are a national disgrace. Time to disband the squadron.
YOU are Canada’s National disgrace!
You're a dick.
@@whiteribbonman1 Why risk peoples lives just for the sake of 20 minute airshow? Its not worth it.
@@user-cf1se1kk5x These folks are military pilots, they understand really well the risk involved in joining the Air Force and flying jets. Every year people die from car crash, airplane crash, boat crash, Sky diving... As soon as you leave home there are risk involved, but if you never take any risks, are you really living? People that never take any risk tend to only point out others failures but rarely do they achieve anything themselves.
Their antiquated planes keep falling out of the sky, killing themselves, and almost killing the people they represent,..the Canadian Public. All for a thrill ride? It isn't worth it anymore. What little money the RCAF receives should go to the maintenance and proper training on their own aging fleet of dinosaurs that barely stay in the air safely as it is.
