Very brave making your first batch on YT …but then you did say that you had shown all your tools in another video, so perhaps it isn’t your first 😉😉. Hopefully you practiced in private before going public. 😊 I would have 😅. You did very well, so “Well done!” You will probably find that it’s quite addictive, and much will unfold for you - as I’m sure it already has in the intervening time 👏 💗
Thank you! It definitely was the first time I actually made a soap so it was bit of a learning curve, but I did watch so many videos before I actually attempted this one! Oh yes, it is very addictive and satisfying. I love it. It’s a very rewarding thing to do to make something that you can actually use so I I do love doing it. Thank you so much for your comment!
Very brave and exciting! Im also a dear follower of white cottage co! Love watching Mary. Sometimes I don’t always comment on videos, I really love watching her videos and learning from her. Thank you for sharing this recipe i was just watching Mary’s soap making video but couldn’t make out a fee ingredients, So I appreciate you making your very first sosp making video, I also want to make soap for myself and son we both switched from regular soap, to handmade natural soap just feels better on both our skin! Thank you again. You did a very good job, Amazing!!!
Thank you so much! 💕
Ha ha 😊 he will, if he watches your video❣️ 😊💗
Yes, he did watch 😋😉🧼
Well hello there. I just bought soap ingredients from you last week. Terrific service too. Great video
So satisfying making your first soap and it goes on with every one after that. Beautiful soap and good luck with your journey in the hand made industry
Can we double this recipe?.> if so, could we times everything by 2?
Hello
In order to double a soap recipe you would have to put that new oil amount back into a soap calculator to recalculate the recipe to fill two molds.
The recipe that I have used in this video comes from Mary at the white cottage company RUclips channel. There is a recipe on her channel to fill two molds but your best bet is to go to a soap calculator to calculate the amount of oils you’ll be using in your recipe to fill two molds.
Have a great day and thank you for your comment
Hi. Do you use refined or unrefined shea butter ? Which one is grainy and has a strong scent ?
Hello! I have used both refined and unrefined. Unrefined has the smoky scent and has more of the “grainy” look to it.
Will be making it this weekend 😊
It’s a great recipe. Enjoy. Have fun!
Nice video
Ty!
