That's pretty darn cute! Looks like a panicky frog stuck in a pond! I couldn't help but chuckle with each bar you cut because each "frog face" was unique. Love the blend of yellow. Awesome creativity with M&P. C. Edmonds
I've never seen anyone else spray every step of the process. I learn something from each vid I see. Glad ton know if I make any mistakes, I can always melt them down and start again!
I may have commented previously because it's not the first time watching this or other videos from you, Dean. You have done such a great job in teaching me what to do and inspiring me to try new things in my soap making. Got a shipment of 25 lbs of MP soap recently so lots of trying going to be going on before Christmas. Thank you so much for being such a great teacher and explaining what we need to know if we want to try it ourselves. You inspire!
Replying to my own comment - really! I love how your swirls are going into the next layer. It gives the bars more dimension. You really have me excited to try something further with the layers and swirls now. I can't thank you enough Dean!
Its really amazing. Thank you for the video . I love the way you explain. Sometimes i don't understand what the foreigners speak . But your voice is sweet n clear .😂😅😅❤❤ Thanks love from India.❤

Dean I love your videos on M&P soap making. I haven't made a bar of soap yet, but busy collecting all the necessary utensils, bases etc. What I'm interested in is the best ways to add color. I did purchase a couple small blocks of lab color. I'm making some small bars to make embeds and found that the lab color was difficult to melt. What do you use and recommend? Liquid color ? When is it appropriate to use mica? Thanks again for your videos, its so refreshing to hear and watch your videos without a baby or toddler in the background and chatting about what they are planning to do for the weekend , a lot of chit chat....... Thanks again
+Trish ODonnell Thanks Trish. I use both Mica and liquid dye. I use more mica with white base soaps (goats milk) and more liquid dye with clear base. But I also use white mica in my clear to get that shinny look. Depending on what dye you use, sometimes they can bleed and that is never a nice thing. Mica usually don't bleed.
Sorry I didn't finish my thought. I was told your MP had to be made within a few weeks of selling. I make my CP months ahead of selling them, some may be 6 to 8 months. I would like to do the same with M&P. Is that possible? Thank you for your held.
Sir. This is super amazing can I know how much time should we give to thicken up 1st layer of base before pouring second layer. Should we pour second layer after complete hardening of 1st layer Please reply.
You want the previous layer to be warm but firm. If its cold then you waited too long. But make sure to spray rubbing alcohol so the layer bond together.
Dean I have another question for you. When you make a soap with say 3 scents,do you use some amount of each to make up the 2% of total weight or do you use bottom note, middle note, top note method of mixing scents?Love the videos, you are the most informative and professional melt and pour soaper on RUclips.
+kelley Sciarrino Hi Kelley, Thank you so much. All my fragrances are pre-mixed before adding to a loaf of soap. Lime, Basil & Mandarin is infact 1 fragrance from my supplier. www.naturalcandlesupply.com.au/lime-basil-and-mandarin-candle-fragrance-oil.html
They turned out great! Can you tell me why you had to wait until the follow day to cut. Also do you cover your melt and pour soaps as they set up? Thanks in advance.
HandWorks Artisan Soaps Thanks, I have in the past tried to cut the mold in the same day but found it to be a little soft and while cutting the soap it started to sag. So I prefer to wait over night. I use cling wrap so they don't sweat.
Dean, I have been a fan and watching your channel for a a while. From bath bombs to mp to cp and I am in love with your work. That body butter was fantastic too! I would LOVE to see you make some cp looufa soaps ❤️ I would buy them all.. mine.. lol

Hello love your videos. I have a quick question. How do you do your ingredient labels?. Do you copy the ingredients of the melt and pour soap and just add the added ingredients?. Please reply
+clarence chipongo Do you mean, can you melt down already made soap? If it's a melt and pour base you can, but I have not tried to do this with cold process soap. cold process soap is soap sold in the supermarket that stays solid for a very long time. You might want to try doing a youtube search for "melting soap".
Am just about to start doing what you are doing in your videos .it's such an amazing brilliant impresive work problem is where I am it's hard to get goat milk soap .I have never made any soap before and this will be my first time .

How long does it take to set between pours? I know that weather can cause it to vary - but I'm itching to try some embeds, and am nervous about wrecking the whole thing! lol
Hi Jessica, It will depend on the base you use and also the temps you pour. if I want a flat layer then I keep touching with my finger every 5 minutes and wait until a solid skin has formed. For me I wait until my base is under 130 if I use curl embeds. Hope that helps.

No, rubbing alcohol is fine for skin in moderation. It will not burn you. But please check with the supplier or back of the bottle as their are different versions rubbing alcohol.

Beautiful soap! I also was enjoying the hidden Mickeys as it was cutting . What is the purpose of the alcohol spray?
Rubbing Alcohol is like a bonding agent to let the soap stick together.
What does the rubbing alcohol do and is this soap natural (except for the rubbing alcohol)?
I made a video on Rubbing Alcohol. Check it out here. -> ruclips.net/video/amJ5C4aGwiM/видео.html

Such a gorgeous soap! Thank you. :)
Awww they look like little Mickey Mouse heads, so cute.
Wow so cool!! Where do you get your fragrance oils or scents?
I got them from www.eroma.com.au :)
Hello though. I love this video. How long do I wait to start curling the curls?
I left the soap for about 5-10 minutes max. you want it to be warm but firm so you can curl the. If they are cold then they can break when curling.
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing :)
That’s really good too
Beautiful 💫
Lovely indeed. What is all that alcohol for?
Rubbing Alcohol helps the soap bond to each other.

Beautiful! Great job! I wish I could smell them.😆
What would cause the loaf pan like you are using...the sides of the mold to pull inwards like an hourglass shape?
Wear and tear on the silicone mold. Mine does this sometimes. You would think from the weight it would push out but nope.

What does the rubbing alcohol do?
Rubbing alcohol pops the bubbles but also acts as a bonding agent for the layers. Glues them together so to speak.
I am pretty impressed, but I need you to write down the names of those things you where using step by step please, thanks.
They are in the description.
what else we can use instead of rubbing alcohol?? plz reply
Nothing. Only rubbing alcohol.
Is it safe to use in face skin?
