A good piece of fat representation I can recommend (not from 2022) is the music video for "Ultralife" by Oh Wonder. One of the characters depicted is a fat man enjoying himself in a swimsuit at the beach and he is portrayed with total empathy and respect. It was almost shocking how rare it was to see that.

I also liked what you said at the end about having fat characters talk to each other so the audience can see things through their eyes. You've heard of the Bechdel test for female characters? We fat people should devise one for fat characters! Just a note on equipment: I had a hard time catching all of your words, because I think your microphone wasn't picking everything up evenly. But I enjoyed the video nonetheless.
You might like a show that aired last year called Reginald the Vampire. It's basically about a fat guy who gets turned into a vampire, but his weight really doesn't come up much except in the beginning. In fact, he ends up being more powerful than the more traditional-looking vampires. It's a really charming, silly show with a lot of heart. And if horror isn't your thing, there isn't really TOO much of that, other than blood. It's more comedy than anything. I'd also say that at least half of the cast is POC's, including Reginald himself (I can't think of the name of the actor who plays him, but he's Spider-Man's buddy in the MCU), so it's got that going for it, too. I didn't see ANYONE talking about it on the internet, so I'm worried it's gonna be a one-season wonder. So, if you're interested, I hope you can find it. It aired on Syfy and/or USA after Chucky.
I agree about a League of their Own. It was a fantastic show in general but the friendship between Clance and Max made it for me. Clance had the best comebacks and I loved everything she wore.
People really acted like Kate had no development simply because she didn’t lose weight like Toby, when even Toby himself admitted in that very episode that she had also changed and evolved and had managed to built a life she loved where he didn’t feel like he fit in
What a great list! And yeah, not surprised Ru Paul is also heinously fatphobic; he's kind of awful, and I'm glad better versions of what he started are getting to shine.
I really loved Lizzo's Watch Out for the Big Grrls show, was there some bad representation that I missed in it? Granted, most of them are smallfat or mediumfat but it was great to see a show where there were many fat women and there was no mention of any of them loosing weight
