"i love hearing my exhaust"....it's interesting how we've been conditioned to value ICE noise. if we had grown up with ev's and someone suddenly introduced the combustion engine we would think it was the dumbest thing in the world...why not get a steam engine?

My street is full of cars driven by people who enjoy their loud exhausts. The noise is deafening to any other sound. There's an industry of folks cutting their exhausts to be louder. Go figure!

Good job showing the Auto industry in it's current state of decline. I'm a bit surprised that Tesla was a no-show the bastion of ICE vehicle manufacturing show. I suppose it would be like post touchdown celebration taunting as Tesla has pretty much slayed that dragon.
I say that as an old car guy who held off even driving an EV until 2021 when I decided to drive a Tesla. The day I test drove the Model Y, I ordered it and in less than 30 days it was in the garage. Like you Chris, there are now 2 Tesla's in the garage with my wife getting a Model 3 SR. We also helped a daughter get a Model 3 SR with the HUGE TAX incentives and other discounts is was under $25K. Why would anyone buy anything else is my question?
It comes down to understanding the difference between economical reliable transportation and, toy or status symbol ownership. After having many nice cars in my life, I was definitely ready for the Tesla driving experience. I never for even a second, miss anything about owning and driving an ICE vehicle. A CT is next up and that will likely be my last vehicle purchase.

“Love hearing my exhaust “ 😮. Presumably loves hearing his farts too. Missing the brain wiring to link the sound to the pollution (to the Keeling Curve to climate change).

3:20 "I have an E-92 M3, it's a manual...." I'm probably the only one here who even knows what that is let alone owns one. 😄 (Hint: It's an older gen BMW drivers car)

@dirtytesla. Seems like your video was just a smear campaign on the Tesla test ride experience. You’re out to get these test drivers and you know off rip they don’t work for Tesla. This experience wasn’t for Tesla snobs, it was for people who have never been in a Tesla before like myself.

So @Tesla can attend auto shows for free.
Find out how much Legacy Auto paid to attend and set up their booths.

Yeah, that is kind of a weird show for doing Tesla. No employees or representatives to ask important questions. And the people driving the vehicles were not from Tesla or have driven them before.
i guess Tesla wants to keep everything under wraps far as information. Probably get better information at a Tesla service center talking to their sales people.
Thanks for the video. Take care.

More like ICE fans not too interested in EVs
      Some crossover with GM customers.
Tesla fans not paying to see ICE and GM products.... ?

This shows how out of touch Detroit Auto Show is. They hire and pay a guy who knows nothing about Tesla to do an underwhelming job, rather than reach out to the Tesla Owner’s Club of Michigan to get someone who knows the cars inside and out (and likely work for free). 😂

Seems really dishonest to represent Tesla with people who aren’t qualified to discuss its features. Feels sketchy IMO.

Tesla doesn't pay for advertising... (not yet, at least)
And neither do they need to.
They know they're no. 1 EV company now, eating Toyota, GM and VW for breakfast.
Detroit Auto Show, on the other hand... is "nothing" without Tesla.. so they had to buy the Teslas they needed.
