for me I would go for the rs 5cylinder 4mation with its easy to do because at list the part's are still around but the vr6 is not bad too.

V5 2,5L RS Engine with Quattro drive would make it a real R(S) edition👍

I used to have a Scirocco and a Russian guy on the owners club put a RS3 engine in his Scirocco. I think he cut the boot floor out and replaced it with something from same platform but 4wd

Ur right about that Scirocco engine, it did sound over rattly. Theyre naturally 'ticky' but rattly is definitely that camshaft chain and tensioner, as you said.

Yes the GT had an EA888. This definitely is a CDLK EA113. Same engine as the Golf 6R, Audi S3 and TTS back then.

I had a Scirocco for years. They're great little cars and can be pretty powerful once tuned correctly. They're really nimble when driving as well, enjoy it when it's fixed.

Chris slix managed to buy a repair kit for the fittings of a golf r headlights. Possibly a kit for Scirocco
All about the VWs 👌 , not a lot off people are a fan off the shiroco R it’s a car what is underrated it’s basically a golf R but I think they look sick don’t see much on the road something different rare 👌👌👌

You should check out a RUclipsr called TheOtherStuff, he used to have a Scirocco with the maddest exhaust and I'd love to see something like that

can confirm you can fit a haldex rear subframe with just a "minor cut".. i.e removing the hole spare tire compartment. but after that it slips right in. also vr6 engine from a r32 mk5 fits fine, just saying ;)

Do like the Sciroccos, just not as practical with a couple of young 'uns in the back. Looking forward to seeing this one being rebuilt and improved upon. So many options... a bit of cutting and fabrication needed if you go AWD? Prefer the Talldegas to the Cadiz, to be honest... Great stuff, Hamza!

14:03 now I know that I'm not the only one that has a Volkswagen with burned light bulbs. My mk4 golf likes to obliterate them after 3 to 5 weeks of use.
Lovely choice interested to watch this! We spoke couple years ago about getting my god spec Scirocco R on for a video wish we had done it looking back haha!
looks like the car damaged driving into a truck trailer since the bumper looks pretty good.

@@TRHamza try and repair the headlights there mega rare and big money, they bend when you steer, check out my rear lights, and steering wheel plus other mods, on here and the one that starts with an I , i think the hashtag is being deleted
Love the video! Just a tip and you probably already know this but I’d check channel 93 of the engine module live data on VCDS to check the timing chain and tensioner health, this will tell you if you need a new timing chain or not and can save you a bit of quid. Was a life saver when I bought my 2.0 TSI Scirocco as mine was on the way out and it can happen with bad maintenance on these

hi , I was wondering if you could help me , my gti dog 2008 drives normal and changes gears as it should however when it comes to a standstill it stalls , the red battery light flashes on the dash and then I will need to restart again but drives fine and idles fine. Have you ever heard of this issue before or know what it might be ? thank you

Wow, I was not aware that R Scirocco even existed ! So rare
wouldn't bother, scirocco R since 2017 [ modded ]. in january swapped it for a MK 7.5 Golf R which is now sitting at 500 ish bhp and I couldn't be happier. the ride in the rocco is terrible compared to the Golf R.

I put petrol in my diesel scirocco , sent it to a garage on Coventry road and it’s now in worse condition after 1 k worth of their “repairs” 🤣

are you selliing the broken lights as i would like the inside of them to make a project with that style inside into a pre facelift light, and some ebay mini HID's, i have a scirocco also that i'm rebuilding just needs a passenger wing and some cosmetic stuffs done :)
The car looks really good. I just never understood why they called it an R. Imagine this being GTI themed 🤤
They made a less powerful version called the GTS which was more of a GTi rival

My friend had a Scirocco R with Haldex system aswell, He said it is "simply" cutting out the spare wheel box, re-welding it to being closed. Fit the Haldex system including axles etc. and basically thats it.

I had a 65plate white scirocco R dsg one car I miss by far loved it even the standard exhaust sounded good I mapped mine to 340bhp had it on lease for 3 years the offered me to buy it but I needed a more practical car wish I had of bought it

12:00 the oil you can see looks like spillage when people are topping up the oil or servicing the vehicle and replacing the oil rocker cover looks perfect to be honest, my opinion I could be wrong
Yes the front is from top up spillage but there’s some at the back also. It will have to get replaced regardless when I do cam chain 👍🏼

Mr. Hamza im following you real tight on this one cuz own myself Golf R mk6 with the same TFSI Ea113 our code is CRZA in north America CND. So hope to confirm all my knowledge on this engine and probably learn also. Mine is on stg2 pro with HPFP piston upgrade, pop and bang, 2 step and no lift shift, still on K04 work very good boost at 30+ psi. And im thinking on all VAG car stg2+ is the better tune after that goin big turbo or hybrid bottom end build etc. Maybe it worth to upgrade for a better gen of golf or why not a DAZA !!!! Like the content tks.
