This is a 2010 Bentley Continental GT Speed, with 50k miles which is now for sale for just under $60,000. Formerly a $200k car, powered by a 6.0L Twin Turbo W12 making 600hp and capable of 200mph, the Continental GT Speed is a super luxury coupe. Certain parts of the car are truly showing their age, but other parts are still vastly superior to many brand new luxury cars. Check out what driving this Bentley is like!

Dude, stop with the apologetic tone. The GT Speed, even a 2010 model, is a world-class driving machine; it is a car for a gentleman: elegant, refined, and sexy. Beethoven is old too.
Personally you can keep most electronic gizmos and buttons. A solid car, engine, trans and some good music is all i need.

When I was looking for a ten-year old Bentley Continental some time ago, I found that I could get a three-year extended warranty but it cost $12,000!
bob lacks yeah and it’s worth it lol they do stand behind them for sure . Up here in Ohio they cost around 15k so I imagine depending where you live
@@boblacks945 Never buy an aftermarket warranty, the warranty company will dispute every single one of your claims. Not to mention even if they didn't you could spend less then $12,000 on maintenance in three years if you went to a shop instead of a dealership.
At 6ft 3 " tall,you are the perfect height to give headroom and legroom feedback.

from the exotic standpoint Continental is fairly reliable, most of your money will go on brakes tires and gas

Well personally i think that Bentley model is better and looks cooler and sharper than the New shape that it's production started since 2015 maybe . The car still looks good for a 10 year old car.
I used these Bentley Continental GTs back in 2010-2012.
I gotta say the maintenance was straight forward and absolutely ZERO problems. Bills were reasonable all things comparable. Costs were like a Porsche Cayenne.
SpaghettiKillah REAL* maintenance on a car doesn’t really start till 3-5 years later.

Love the quality and content of the review. Very comprehensive. I’m not a big fan of the front end styling, a little sloppy in my opinion. The new version is much sharper and sportier. Bentley was probably thinking more about elegance rather than being sporty back then.

That was a very good review. My uncle has had a few Bentleys and id describe the acceleration as a surge of power. It makes you feel special if not a little too conspicuous. The back seats are ok for kids, no way id let my dog scratch those leather thrones.
Looking for a newer model with the V8. A 2015 is about $100K. Love the Bentley GT. Good vid.

It's hard to belive that a lot of the of 10+ year old cars barely look old. Examples such as as the Toyota Land Cruiser, RR Phantom, BMW 7- Series, F-150. Basically cars have gotten so good that they don't look old

I think you could get that W12 motor in a VW Phaeton, without the turbo. Still has the exhorbitant maintenance costs and repair bills, though. Think nothing of burning $1000's on repair bills on that motor, it's complex, and so few know how to work on it.

Get the supersports it is another level. 60 in 3.7 and can be remapped to 700bhp no problem as can any of the W12's but the supersports has better suspension wider track and is a 70 30 split 4x4 Carbon brakes as standard. It is very similar to driving a veyron but for a 12th of the price.

The V8 is a more simple engine, likely lower ownership costs. Not sure if "total failure" is an issue with these

i personally dont think the infotainment system is even good for 2010. Bmw or mercedes in 2010 have way better looking ones.But nice car tho

For less than 1K you can have an aftermarket replacement which fits 1:1 in the old spot without ruining the rest of the look. All modern features in it you find in most OEM Headunits today. I think that`s a good and not big investment and improves the car a lot for daily use.
Marc Nobel yes, this is obviously the best thing to do, but I am having to figure out how to retain the factory infotainment features by sending the signal to the aftermarket radio. That’s mandatory with the way Bentley has set it up. I’ve seen some people do it so I know it’s possible, but I haven’t going the info yet. I’m probably going to have to pull it out and just figure it all out
@@SublyminalTV There is a ready kit available. This replaces the Headunit and the rows of buttons under the screen. All factory functions still work with it. The top part (where the screen is located) is a double-DIN holder from the back, where you can put in the Radio of your choice. The wiring goes in the frame. So no modifications at all needed. It`s available for quite a while now. You should find it even here on RUclips I guess.
