Jolly good sir! An 11 year old Bentley but yet how technology has progressed and still remain the same to a degree. Bachman Chevrolet in Kentucky had a 2011 and a 2017 Bentley and both cars took months to sell. The 2017 obviously sold before the 2011, but Bentley just seems to be one of those cars that unless you have a new one, nobody really cares, but yet they don't really change all that much.
Great video Ben the Bentley looks great.
on the fan speed: there is a button marked a/c in between the on/off button and navi button next to the center scroll wheel.
That is a beautiful peace of machinery great design the sound if the engine and the luxurious interior
Ben Hardy,
The tail lights/brake lights in this 2010 GT Supersports are LED, and have been since the standard GT came out in 2003, the front and rear side marker lights are also LED, as are the turn signal indicators in each side view mirror, now the front and rear turn signals are incandescent bulbs, as are the rear fog lights.
The reason the trunk (boot) is so shallow in the vehicle you show, is that this GT has the NAIM for Bentley audio upgrade option that you forgot to mention, so below the rear deck where you see the NAIM for Bentley trim from left to right, there is a twin sub woofer box that takes away about 6-8 inches in height.
The transmission in the Supersports model, is the ZF 6HP-28 with the "Quick Shift", whereas the standard GT has the ZF 6HP-26 with no quick shift.
As to the Infotainment system, you had the "Vehicle" menu selected, as can be seen by the vehicle button being illuminated, if you had pressed the "AC" button, you would have had all AC functions displayed on the screen, just as you would have each display by pressing either of the other buttons labeled Audio, Navi, Phone, Trip, etc.
I am also surprised that you did not mention the beautiful Carbon Ceramic Brakes on the Supersports while you were talking about the brake caliper and wheels.
Also, please do not slam the soft close doors... 😬
Johnny
Bentley built a awesome car
Noice love your channel
Aye a Bentley review
I like how you skipped the fuel economy 😆
LOL
LOL!
@@BenHardyCars can you changed it to run on lpg?
All about those smiles per gallon, not miles per gallon
OMG ID LOVE ONE
I wouldn’t exactly call this affordable. You definitely have to buy some sort of extended warranty because even if you scrape up all the change in your couch to buy this, when something breaks you’re SOL lol
The scariest thing is the carbon ceramic brakes, because I’m not even sure you can retrofit it with the same size steel brakes. This is a 5000lb coupe, so they take quite the punishment. I’d hate to think what they cost to replace (probably $10K+, since most cars with these kinds of brakes cost that much to get new one’s on). W12 engine is a rock, although if you get unlucky and need to replace a turbo or intercooler, I believe it’s engine-out.
Very tempting cars because they are excellently build and they drive like almost nothing else, and they actually have a “cheap” purchase price. However, definitely wouldn’t consider them affordable.
That thing is classy! Of course it’s not nearly as classy as my beloved RAM!!!❤️
Um, just no. If I could only own one and it had to be daily driven, sure I’m picking the Ram. But in no universe is a Ram more classy than a Bently
@@TheDiameter WHATEVER!!!😆
@Dillon Bishop 😂😂😂 You must got some good weed there young fella!!!!
@@leedanielson7452 😆😆😆
@Dillon Bishop Just kiddin!😂
Did I miss the price?
Nice cars but not good when it comes to fixing the AC...
A BENTLEY!???
Heyo
This car beats an Aston Martin
Crazy... A W12 engine; that's like two V6 engines mated together, isn't it? No wonder it feels like a freight train, lol.
Yes, basically. The W configuration allows for engine length reduction and space. It’s a 12 cylinder that is as short as a V8 because the cylinders are “stacked” diagonally on each side rather than simply in a straight row like on all other engines.
Sup
So when this has catastrophic failures (it’s a British sports car, so there’s no if) what’s the repair bill usually look like haha!
I’ve heard the big things on it are pretty reliable
@@BenHardyCars That’s awesome, definitely a break from the norm. I have no doubt that the ZF trans is wonderful. I just can’t imagine you could take it anywhere besides the dealer for anything you can’t do easily yourself. I’d be mostly worry about labor in the little things adding up.
Too bad I can’t afford one haha
LOL
This is worth every penny you’ve got in your wallet
C8 or this?
Depends on what you want
Sounds like a used car commercial 🤔
Earlyy lol
