- Bentley is an iconic brand with a very rich history. The Continental GT Speed is a showcase of just how capable the brand is. Under the hood is a very unique 6.0L twin-turbo W-12 engine that pumps out 616HP, is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and power gets to the ground through and AWD system. The exterior of the Continental GT has a distinctive look and iconic Bentley grill. On the inside you will find yourself surrounded by leather, and other fine materials. It’s really doesn’t get much better than this. The stance breathtaking, the presence simply eye catching.
These are such amazing cars. Real metal, real wood, real power and extremely well finished. I am also amazed at how easy DIY minor service is. I have a low mile 2006, that looks and functions like new. One of the last great 12 cylinder super coupes.
Joe is stepping up into the big boy brands with Bentley 👍👍👍. Would be interesting to see you do review on Bentley suv

I worked an assignment for Bentley a few years ago in Napa Valley, California. I drove their large sedans with W-12 engines. They were extremely smooth riding, and very powerful. I can attest they only got 13 mpg average city/highway for the two weeks I drove them. We were driving for the manufacturer and I enjoyed spending time in their cars. I would not say they are worth the price they get for them Joe. They are overpriced, for normal people (like me). Good review here, I enjoyed it. Remember, these are very fancy Volkswagens. They even share window lift buttons with the VW Passat sedans! ha ha ha ha

The leather in new Conti is insane. It’s like a Hermes handbag. It makes the leather in a Merc look cheap.

104k sounds way better...The whole car in and out looks amazing...Perfect interior and nice phone...Haven't seen many Bentleys but that's probably the best looking one so far

Even when I don’t care about the car I have to watch for the likable personality.
If money was no object, a Continental GT would be my choice of car. Don't need a family four-door, just personal transportation. Daily drive in the city, or drive hundreds of kilometres as a true GT. Perfect - just not in white though. They look much better in the darker colours, blue, black, maroon, green etc.
You can buy these used for $40k...

Perhaps you can review the 1st Edition lines of the 2019 GTC or the 2020 Bentyga? With Porsche collaboration on the drivetrain.

When looking at reliability reference Consumer Reports, they are more in depth in their research. Consumer Reports says Volkswagen's reliability is very spotty. Carwow says Bentley is one of the worst in reliability for a luxury brand. However, they are very beautiful cars.

The infotainment system is a big let down. Apart from that it’s a great car to sit in. Just get the right color combo and you’re set like up like British Royalty 🤴🏻
That is so very true! You do get a lot of looks in this one.
It’s classy without being over the top. It’s more subtle than arriving in a Rolls but has a better presence than a Merc, Audi etc.

Thanks for all the information. Still a lot of money for a 2014. Quality of the interior is better than most new cars but the electronics are dated and the big part of owning a Bentley wasn't mentioned. Repairs if you don't have a warranty. So you don't save on price when getting a used one because other nice new cars cost this amount and Repairs bills can cost you to sell it will no warranty

Or, you could buy a 2005 Bentley continental Gt that looks nearly identical, just 50 less horsepower for under 40k. Beautiful looking cars, but a car where people think it's a great deal,buy it, then realize that they can't afford to service or maintain it and it's not built to be a daily driver.

Just an advice, when you do an acceleration test, do not shout or talk too loudly, because when you accelerate we increase our volumes to hear how the car sounds and all we hear is you shouting. If it helps, do it a couple of times without the camera on, get the adrenaline/kick out of your system & then record.
