It’s sad, but ever since copper won the dew tour and aspen owns the x games - Vail has given up on trying to cater to park rats.
At least Woodward is keeping it alive for those who want it

I really wish Vail could see how much they are hurting these resorts to save some money. I was looking to make a trip next winter to Keystone and a couple other in that area. But after videos like this and also seeing what Vail has done to the Resort Local to me plus the conditions of the Mountain/ Lack of Snow and the management issues we had last week. I have to change my plan to go to Snowshoe WV. And it sucks because I would much rather go to Colorado and snowboard. Thanks for this video. I wish more people would expose and make public of these kinds of issues. Might make these Resort owners and business people see what damage they're doing to the resort and even to they're business. May take a season of people boycotting them. But something has to be done to fix these issues.
Hey...flat light is my enemy. LOL! Love the jammin' music at the beginning of this video. No Vail is trying to turn their ski resorts into the playground of the very rich & folks who get on a snowboard if the life depended on it. I've been to Vail over the 40 yrs. of skiing & riding there. It has gone into the marketing medium & come out, well, market hype & conspicuous consumption. Their own employees can't even afford to live up there where their resorts are, especially Vail Resort itself. So, what they do?? They try to BUY and BUILD cheap condos for their workers on environmentally protected (sort of) ecosystem lands of migrating animals that will probably go extinct if all their land is ultimately built upon and they're moved out. It's all about making more money - stock holders, P&L/cash flow & investments - Mo money! Yep. Gone are the days…UNLESS we as customers SPEAK with our feet and pocketbooks and BOYCOTT Vail resorts. Customers have the great consumer power; we just don’t learn from history on how to use it effectively. One day of boycott would bring them to their knees. BUT that’s why they are courting the foreign market because USA consumers have caught on to money grubbing tactics. I don’t plan to ever go back there.
Ikon resorts would be my recommendation. I’ve never been to east coast but heard it’s horrible. Winter park, copper mountain, a basin, and steamboat seem like a better option for you.
@@cr4zednd4zed Yes. Totally agree! We have IKON & EPIC passes. Snowboarded,(SB),in Vermont yrs. ago & got lucky with snow vs ice. Loved SB in Canada (Whistler-Blackcomb, Banff, Sunshine, Lake Louis) & Winter Park, & my favorite- Telluride. We plan to go to Hakuba or Niseko, Japan & to Europe next. So there are tons of options other than VAIL. Also skiing in Europe is way cheaper than in the US. if you do your homework about several places in Europe. Have fun riding!!

Wow, I was there yesterday too, I missed a great opportunity to say hello. I was still satisfied because there was a halfpipe. These days, pipes are gone, so there is nothing in Michigan. But I think it would be better if it was a little longer.

I used to see Horgmo and Mcmorris at keystone. Now no pros go to lame ass vail resorts. The scene is dead. Rip

Terrain parks are not desired by Vail's target customers. Sucks for the locals, but I for one could care less about them providing a park.
