ASICS is absolutely KILLING IT this year. Kayano, Nimbus, Novablast, Superblast, MagicSpeed MetaSpeed! I can't remember a year with any brand having such an amazing lineup.
I think asics makes the best shoes out there. Totally, my opinion. But between the superblasts, and metaspeed series......you just can't go wrong. Lightest, quickest, comfortable....they're absolutely killing it.
I love ASICS shoes. Il my rotation I have the GT-2000 10, the Kayano 30 and the Magic Speed 2. I ran my first marathon in the Gel-Cumulus 25, they are retired now, I put 847 km in them. The Metaspeeds were too unstable for me though so I chose Saucony Endorphin Pro 3 for my A races.
Only ran in the novablast 4, tried the nimbus 26 on, and would love to get the superblast. With that being said one of my friends from the running community told me the novablast is the only shoe you need from ASICS. He said the superblast is great but the $60 price increase from the novablast isn’t worth it at all. Still going to get a pair of superblast after the Richmond marathon for some winter running.
So, im 200 miles into my superblast (v1), put some 20 miles into the superblast 2 as well. If you think, the novablast 4 is a great shoe for you, dont get the superblast 2. The changes to the 2, made it more of a "oh its a novablast 4 but has race foam in it". its kinda redudant honestly. Whereas if you think "k. Novablast 4. is .. alright? bit stiff. bit boring. the heal especially is way to dense and hard." Go find the first superblast. buy all you can find in your size. sell your novablast 4s, and you will be happy forever. the first superblast is an amazing shoe, especially once broken in. recovery? yes. easy day? yes. Walking? yes. Gym? yes! Race day? yes! Long run? YES! Basically the speedgoat but for the road? Essentially. The superblast 2 has more heal, and the geometry changes made it more like a overprized novablast honestly. its almost a trail ready shoe id say with how dense the turbo+ and heal are. you really have to pick up the pace for it come alive sadly.

Hello. Do you have a recommendation for an Asics shoe model great for shuttle runs/beep test. Short bursts of speed and quick turns on an outdoor track. Thank you!
Love the review, exactly the video explanation I've been looking for. Having flipped full Asics products this year I started off with the original all-red Paris Edge earlier this year, and next was the Magic Speed 3s which are both extremely amazing running shoes - no complaints whatsoever. I'm now looking for a daily and after this video I guess my next shoe would be the Superblast. Asics make really high quality shoes that feel so good on the feet! They're killing it this year! Thanks for the review!
how much do you think is between the MS3 and the Edge Paris? I am so tempted to buy the Edge/Sky, but i have the MS3 with very few miles on it. If it shaves a 00:05/km, i'd buy it tomorrow. For 00:01/km, I will stick with the MS3 for now :)
Got the novablast 4 two months ago and love them. Just feel the quality is not there. Got around 150 miles in them and noticed last night they are ripping from the bottom of the shoe on both sides. Other than duration of the shoe, they are awesome!!!!
I love the Nimbus 26 but while it’s still has so many miles left (midsole is great), a hole has developed in the upper where my big toe is. I’ve had so many running shoes from different brands over the years and this has never happened to me before.
Glideride Max. Let's hope it matches my GOAT Glideride 3. Dual density performance foam with plate and rocker makes it's my perfect do it all shoe from Recovery to Race. The mono block of foam in the novablast is too soft and unresponsive for me, it needs a nylon plate to structure the foam. The superblast needs more rocker and feels more suited to midfood runners.
I dont run events anymore so I dont need the racers. I learned to buy the TR versions of the Nimbus and Novablast.. a little sacrifice on weight and a lot of gain on grip and durability. Not to mention better colorways.(At least for me)

I bought my two pair of ASICS SB 2 on StockX. It’s a legitimate online company and I’ve already received one pair. I absolutely LOVE the shoe! I hate asking for this since it's going to reveal something about myself, but ... can you make a video on the best budget running shoes? I've never spent more than $100 on a pair of shoes in my life, so it's a bit crazy to hear you guys say things like "it's $140, so it's kind of cheap." My trick has to buy older models on clearance, but any advice is appreciated.
I am somewhat in the same boat. I will spend some money on certain shoes, but I never buy the new version. I have gotten some pretty sweet deals. I got a pair of Novablast 3’s for $80, and my second pair for $90. I have also gotten a pair of Brooks Glycerin 20’s for $80. These are all pretty good deals. However, I have also spent $120 dollars for a pair of Saucony Speed 3’s. They originally went for $170, so I am very pleased with this deal. Probably, the best deal I have gotten was I bought a pair of Nike Vaporfly 3’s for $160. I was able to get this deal because of a connection. I never buy full price, and I use every shoe I buy until they are not good for running.
Keep your eyes out for deals and try to get shoes that are not the most budget but just last years premium model or just discontinued colors . Novablast 3 instead of 4 for example. Saucony triumph 21 not 22 …I have gotten good discounts on Nikes website on their best shoes just in discontinued colors multiple times . 160-180 dollar shoes in the 100-130 range. Adidas does same just harder to predict sales. If you are serious about running rotation of a few shoes prevents injury . It will take longer as well to wear out several shoes when you rotate.
My friend has 60k in the bank and has no bills and still budget shops shoes....😂😂. I often times google search shoes. Look at the previous version of new balance 1080s or rebels as they often are very reduced. Asics offers a first responder or military discount of you have that. My superblasts were 200 and I got them for 150 with the discount. Another option is asics offers a "road tested" shoe. They're slightly used and in good condition and offered a nice discounted price. That also may be something you want to look at. Lastly, supwell has an app that is literally $1 a month. You can buy and trade shoes there. Some guy was selling superblasts after 100 miles for like $100. Tons of options on there. Hope this helps!
Also, Asics! if you read this by any chance. here is my pitch: A trail race day version of the Superblast 1. Same shoe, better laces, paralell carbon plates with wings for medial and lateral stability, full FF turbo midsole, no change in geometry, and asics grip outsoul with 4mm lugs. Make that shoe. DO NOT USE SUPERBLAST 2! use the first one. add two parallel plates. done. Youd have a contendor for the Vectiv Pro and for the Tecton x 3

I have to say, the changes and updates to the Superblast 2, really threw me off. the heal is stiffer, and more noticeable. Its 100% a different fomulation of turbo+. its denser and firmer, and i had to pick up the pace segnificantly to get the energy return and bounce. Had to send it back with a broken heart. Hope i can find another superblast 1.
I’m still torn between vaporfly 3 or asics magic speed 4 for my speed session, any suggestions? (I’m currently rocking pegasus 38 & novablast 3 for dailies)
My ASICS Men’s Gel Nimbus 26 shoes lasted a mere 20 days before tearing, as evident in the attached picture. Despite the premium price tag of ₹15,900 and ASICS’ reputation for quality, customer care declined to offer a replacement. This experience has been deeply disappointing, especially for a product marketed as durable and suitable for long-distance running. As a loyal ASICS customer, I expected better quality control and post-purchase support. It’s disheartening to see a brand of this stature not stand behind its products. Would anyone recommend a reliable alternative for a long-distance running shoe that can truly last?

Its 100% a different fomulation of turbo+. its denser and firmer, and i had to pick up the pace segnificantly to get the energy return and bounce. Had to send it back with a broken heart. Hope i can find another superblast 1.
TELL ASICS TO MAKE THE Superblast in size 14!!!!
I'll get right to it...
Please!
Tell Asics to actually make Superblasts!
Kofuzi and now BelieveInTheRun?! Oh yeah!
No… I want that Paris color … even the white. I can’t find it in 11 1/2 and now this new puma that they’re going crazy about has been picked clean.
When does Glideride Max drop?
Hope you guys from the East are taking advantage of the Madonna Inn.
I would love the superblast 2, they just arent available
I miss the asics noosa tri
my first asics (and running shoes) are the noosa tri 15 and I love them, it fits perfect in my wide feet and look gorgeous.
How about the Asics Cunnylinkus 2
''Those are the little bit more bulky daily trainers'' That would be an understatement lol.
you need to talk about the disadvantages of the shoes as well, honest review will be appreciate. Not just like an advertisement...😊
great video! btw, where is Jamie?
Kayano 31 is really good and comfortable

Thanks for the ASICS commercial. Believe in the Run is now on payroll
They make amazing shoes! I have gel excites, superblast, metaspeed edge paris and numerous other lifestyle asics. They're my favorite brand.
Shame the superblast sold out as soon as it was released and no idea when more will become available.
Hint…RW is taking presale orders now for two new colors coming in mid September
Make Metaspeeds and Superblast in size 14, Asics!

Good we have the two on the sides to control the salesman in the middle.
No one talking about the cumulus 25?😊
Hi I have nimbus 25 which is best ASICS.?
I whacked second time now😂😂😂👍
I’m curious why ASICS doesn’t make enough shoes to sell. Seems counterproductive to making money

The GT 2000 12 would be a great option for any daily use - both running or walking -Connor
