What I like so much about Ceaser is that he's a goofball, but doesn't seem to 'overdo' it to the point of annoyance. I see so many who take it too far every time, he doesn't seem to and I think that's such a win in a spouse. Anywho... love the yarn you found in the first store, you can just see the softness.
It's so crazy that you said the Trader Joe's reminds you of Aldi. The original owners of the stores are brothers, and both wanted to offer healthy options and carry different items from other countries etc. The brother who opened Aldi wanted it to be more affordable so he did things to allow for higher pay to employees and lower costs to shoppers, such as the quarter for a cart, buy or bring your own bags, putting things in the shelf in the manufacturers boxes etc. ❤ I have both Aldi and trader Joe where I live but definitely prefer Aldi.
I just love seeing y'all experiencing my city! I live in Minneapolis and I was so stoked to see y'all at Bde Maka Ska in the last video and now our famous Minehaha Falls! I can't wait to see what y'all experience next! (and yep there are several free-standing local yarn shops around!)

My little heart was healed a bit when Ceaser said we can do it all babe when you pointed out Joann. I would have been shut down so quick when I was married. My partner now tells me he will go with me. But then also asks if I really need it, he knows I’m trying to use my stash.

My partner doesn’t often go to buy yarn with me but he fully supports my work and business which is so nice. He has picked out some really cool yarns for me before too which I love

I LOVE Malabrigo yarn- one of my favorites! Don’t make that shawl pattern with the yarn you got- the weight is too big, but it is really pretty. You could always do a sweater vest! So much fun to have you in this area- I enjoy knowing the places you are visiting 🥰

Its so nice to see my homestate in summer, thank you for this! If you ever have a chance to go in fall when all the leaves are in full color, absolutely go! Also the halloween/fall activities are like absolutely fantastic. Dead end hayride, anokas halloween parade, corn mazes/farms, valleyscare, Minnesota zoo has like 1000s of jack-o-lanterns, and more!
Edit: my goodness thats some BEAUTIFUL yarn

So funny random bit of info. The dudes that run Trader Joe's, Aldi, and Lidl were either brothers or at the least in business together as grocers before splitting off to open their own respective companies.
Yup, I always think of TJs as the bougie Aldi's 😂
Fun fact: In Germany, where Aldi is from, they sometimes sell Trader Joe's stuff. So you're not wrong!

I would recommend Kyoto sushi in Minneapolis,me and my boyfriend love it when we go visit his family there. It can be a little pricey per person, but it’s all you can eat sushi and every thing taste fresh.
Literally 10 mins from where I live and I didn't even know that crochet store was in there.😅 Hope you're having fun in MN. FYI, make sure you got your walking shoes on for the MOA 😊

The reason Trader Joe's reminds you of Aldis is because they are owned by the same company. I like Traders Joe's. The nearest one to me is about 30 minutes away, but I have 3 Aldis within 10 to 15 minutes and shop there all the time. Love the yarn you got.

Hi kelsie I actually just got back from Minnesota Michigan and Wisconsin😊 absolutely loved them if you ever decided to go to Michigan I recommend Marquette at the lake superior beach it's literally so much like the ocean it's beautiful❤ anyways enjoy your trip🎉

You could make a winter hat, scarf and mittens. I found a free pattern on RUclips for all three items and they turned out beautifully.
