If you want you can literally tie the skeins together, or, crochet until you have two loops on your hook, and yarning over with the new skein of yarn.

FOR chunky yarn you can light the ends a bit (safety first) and smush them together

I love that color of pink. it looks lovely on you. As for raglan in knitting, it's not hard at all. Normally just a series of increases if starting neck down or a series of decreases if doing bottom up.

I have to wait to see Madame Web 😂😊 I love that you are making yourself a sweater for Valentine's Day. 🥰 With some inspiration from the "Very PassioKnit Vlogs", I ordered some Hobbii Horizon yarn at the end of the year and told myself, "I'm going to finally make myself one of Kelsie's Granny Hexi-Cardi's 😂! I started it a couple of days ago, after I finished my 9th Knit hat from your pattern. 😊 I love that Blush color you are using. 😍 I never do the gauge swatches either... 😅 Many moons ago (when I was 6 and learned to crochet), I used to follow ALL the rules and do ALL the things... I kinda lost all that over the years 😂

The way I dry sweaters like this is I get a clean towel and roll the sweater in it to get excess moisture out then I lay it flat on top of the dryer while it’s drying my other clothes to let it finish air drying. The residual heat helps it dry more quickly and laying it flat helps it keep it’s shape

The sweater came out beauitful. I hate making guage swatches. It is the Bain of my knitting and crochet existence. But I as a teacher I encourage my students to. I stress the importance of it. But I hate it.

Im in the process of moving right now so my sister in law is over a bunch to help, and has listened to your videos along with me for the past few weeks as i try to crank out a pair of granny square shorts and at least half a hex sweater. You said "surprise surprise" and she threw a poster laughing and said, "thai again?" She has never watched your videos, she listens from my phone, and i just thought you should know that she understands your love for thai food😂

Im at the part where you talk about your folder full of things you havent made yet. And had a fun idea. You could do a number randomizer and randomly do one using yarn you already own. (maybe a color randomizer too? Raise the stakes??)

4mm hook is the biggest I ever use. Is funny for me that for others it's the smallest. The sweater came out beautifully!

Hi kelsie watching you in this video is like looking at myself in the mirror lol I do the same thing as you with unravelling all the work and starting over by changing crochet hooks to bigger hooks and altering sizes to baggier sizes! I don’t like using small hooks to crochet wearables because my brain tells me I’m never going to finish this it’s gonna take years! I enjoyed the video so much. Can a hoodie be added do you think?

I prefer cuffs to be sc blo also. I ripped out 2/3 of a sweater that had creeping seam syndrome. Only happens sometimes, so im not sure what the problem is.

Hey Kelsie, this video was so fun. I love how the sweater turned out. For future reference when making a gauge swatch if your stitch count is correct and your row count is wrong just be mindful when knitting or crocheting with a pattern you may not need to do as many rows/rounds as the pattern states. Usually, i would refer to any measurements included in the pattern to help make the finished product.
For what it's worth... I've checked directly with JoAnn's about whether or not most of the Big Twist yarns could be machine washed AND dried because I found it ridiculously impossible to believe that it couldn't be dried too and I was told that it was a mislabeled issue and that most of them COULD be machine dried. Looks great by the way!
I think if the gauge is wrong you're supposed to change your hook size but don't quote me, because I never make a swatch haha
