HOW TO CHANGE FORD KUGA FUEL FILTER - 2016 DIESEL FUEL FILTER CHANGE - CAR NOT STARTING COLD - FORD

In this video you will see how to change a diesel fuel filter on a 2016 Ford Kuga.
This vehicle would struggle to start in the morning when outside temperatures are low however would be fine during the day when the temperature increases.
After changing the diesel fuel filter the issue was fixed and vehicle would start, run and drive perfectly fine.

Ive bought the filter and had a look at it today, but i couldnt split that green return tube from the red and black tab !!
I lifted off the top red plastic but still couldnt see how to split them ??
Also didnt have the correct size of tube to fit to the green return ! What size of tube do i need ?

Hi mate did you need to prime it in the end after your Halfords purchase failed?

Hi, no didn’t need to prime it as the fuel filter was full of diesel did add extra diesel to it so was completely full

​@carhelpforyou5650 hi do I need to drain old diesel an add new diesel when doing the fuel filter an I can leave ignition on for 30seconds or more before I start my kuga after the fuel filter back on right
