With the next live show just around the corner, I thought we would go back to look at a highlight of the first live show CR did with VM.

But the REAL MVP, is obviously Matt. Totally amused, but still in the moment, realizing that in the game-world, Garmeli is absolutely hearing all of this and his response, without missing a beat, is god damn gold.

Guard goes to the pub after his shift. Sits down with the regular crew, chugs his beer and goes: "So, Vox Machina, HEROES OF THE REALM, are staying in town. And you'll never guess what I learned about them..."
I just love the "I'm tense come on let's go."
Crystal Rin Cosplay Travis’s embarrassed facepalm and Laura’s gleeful cackle is really just the icing of the cake here.
I don't know why, the way Matt says "oh" is just so hysterical.
Notice Matt switching from playing straight-man to the joke (the guards being uncomfortable) to comic instigator (garmili) in an instant.
"They arent buying it, lets make rhem super uncomfortable" is a tried and tested strategy in almost every d&d game ive been a part of XD
And thus, the legend of poly machina was born

Cut to Search for Bob and continue the tradition of Liams character grabbing Travis' character and dragging them to the bedroom.
The squirrel thing. And the grabbing Grog by the circlet saying and Vax saying he was tense
I am always fondly remember this moment whenever my own party insists on sharing a single room. We do it because we're a bunch of paranoid bastards, but there has been many a guard that must have wondered what goes on behind those closed doors lmao. Hell, the characters have seen eachother naked plenty of times in bathhouses and the like (and that time we attended a rather unorthodox orgy to find a missing person and kill a bunch of lifestealing vampires, long story), so they aren't exactly physically awkward around eachother.
One recent time, it DID get awkward though when we used two rooms instead. The very ace paladin said he'd share with the elf, thought nothing of it and later walked in on the elf and his npc cleric boyfriend already having fun on the double bed. The paladin didn't want to back out cause the room was already paid for and he didn't want the rest of the party to tease him, so he stayed and it became a hilariously awkward sandwich. We haven't laughed this hard in a long time.

Liam just wants to sleep with Travis, he's been hinting it throughout the season. Then again, Sam and Laura stopped him from going forward.
please add the bit where they exit the room later on and vax slaps grog on the ass and keyleth exits polymorphed as a goose, much to the horror to the guards

By far the best part of this scene is Keyleigh going: Yeah we´re totally POLY while polymorphing Percy.
Makes the entire situation just so much better.
That ending made me really want the traveler theory to be true.

So that's why Jester has her sketchbook! It was something Artagan used when acting as Garmeli. Nice bit of foreshadowing there for the eventual reveal.

I can’t wait for this being animated.
At the end of the campaign, when Vox Machina becomes God slaying legends, those guards are going to have quite the story to tell.
I haven't watched campaign one, only in bits like this, but I just realised that the barkeep that points them in the right direction when Jester's gone and blesses them is the same voice as Gormelian. Continuity

They need to find kidnapped jester. Someone who fits Artaghan's description is suddenly a barkeep and gives them advice the next morning. It wasnt confirmed for a very long time, but it was the Traveler trying to help free Jester.
It should be between episode 23 to 29, since that was when rhe previous event happened

@@ChitenBugMan it is...but sometimes a fortunate few hundred Critters are lucky enough to be able to afford and have a fast isp to buy a ticket before they all sell and see them live. I think there have been 6 live shows so far.
