Sam's Comic timing is S-tier. He waited for the emotional scene to finish, then immediately pounced. Absolutely perfect balance of restraint and boldness.
I think this the most I've seen Liam lose it. Collapses on Laura's shoulder, sits up, belly laughs, then collapses the other way onto Taliesin's shoulder. Peak Liam O'Brien!
I mean, they said they've checked out some of the fanfics before, and what with hanging out with Dani on the fairly regular as well (especially Liam), it was unavoidable IMO.
The whole party has since they got back to the C2 party. Bell's Hells are fun, sure, but the balance of straight-laced characters to chaos goblins is WAY skewed, and doesnt make for engaging long-term viewing. I've only started looking at CR again in the last couple weeks, and I agree- Sam has been cooking!

One day, someone, somewhere, will be wearing their cool CR merch. Someone unfamiliar with CR will ask them about it. The critter will happily and with joy in their heart, explain what Critical Role is. That it's a group of really nice and caring and wholesome people playing a table top game, sharing their love for eachother with the world. Spreading joy. Crafting wonderful stories, full of deep emotion and layers upon layers of interconnectivity in a magical world of their own making. And later that day, when the new person gets home, makes some tea, opens RUclips and looks up Critical Role... The algorithm, for some reason, will serve them up this video. 😂
