I started this as a way to show CR to friends who could not manage the 4 hour episodes, It has now gathered momentum where I feel an obligation to all those that watch to continue to provide highlights of this magnificent creation and artwork that is Critical Role. The entire ethos of CR has always been to help each other and support each other, regardless of which pigeonhole you wish to define life with. And best part is, Percy being annoyed at a loss of an arm, rather than terrified and screaming, is still in character.

This may be my favourite Percy line, which is saying something.

@@chosenone1242 Vax, her late husband, made a pact with a goddess. The Raven Queen brought Vax back to life, making him her champion until Vox Machina defeats Vecna. after the fight (the final fight of the campaign) the goddess came to take Vax into the afterlife and none of the guys could do anything about it. there was no way to *bring Vax back*, no matter what they did.
that is what Keyleth is reffering to. she's able to easily regrow chopped of limbs, Vox Machina can even bring the dead back to life, but due to the raven queen there was no way to bring Vax, Keyleth's husband, back. They were powerful, but still completely powerless in that regard.
@@XpVersusVista I hate to break it to you but both Vax and Keyleth never officially married. Only Percy and Vex. It was even brought up in that same episode when Vex was trying to comfort Keyleth. After Vax left with the Raven Queen. Vex would have excepted her as a sister had Keyleth married Vax.
I think Percy clapping at Bertrand bringing his arm back went underappreciated.
CaptainSpanky96 I could see it like a panning shot with Percy in the middle doing that with a completely straight face.
That's probably my favorite part of this whole scene.
And then the next one-shot they need to fight Evil Percy, grown from the original Percy's severed arm

Well, this needs a starting point or premise, no? Let me try.
It is almost 2-5 years since the hand cut off, and since Percy gained new arm, no one paid attention to it. Until a series of firearms been smuggled into the black market, with similiar design as Percy's creations, and the team shocked to learn that his fingerprints is all over the new firearms. Percy didnt do anything suspicious, and last time they check, Dr Ripley is quite dead. Until they notice the severed arm is missing...
Silas is still out there plotting revenge...
They see the firearms that bear the tag of the maker "Cid Viper" (anagram of Percival)

Let's not over look the brilliance of the fact that as soon as Bertrand comes back with the now-redundant arm, Percy illustrates it with a slow clap.

All this adherence to canon, quite ironic that the scene where the line was first said is itself no longer canon.
Garrett Carter might yet be Scanlan did erase the events from Grogs mind with modify memory so that scene could of been from right after the wipe
Was kind of hoping that Scanlan when he said he was using modify memory, was going to erase the adventure from Grog's mind. Thus maintaining the scene where he wakes up unawares in Whitestone Castle.
Tucarius luckily he at least let him keep the memory of the battle

In the original session, Percy did show his arm was grow back, at Tal said words to the effect of 'I'm not sure, that might be a joke.' And technically Scanlan was right, he *did* lose an arm; it was just grown back afterward. Canon restored!
As if Percy would hide his arm for a joke. But yeah, let’s go with the boring version to have marisha not look like an asshole

It's been a long couple of days for Keyleth....
In the original joke, Taliesin hid his right arm behind his back, but during the one-shot, they RP’d him losing his left. Which bothered me until I realized he fooled Grog while displaying the arm with no sleeve.
this bit alone made for 3 really good lines/interactions: percy explaining why he cant shioot with one arm, keyleth twisting the knife of vax's death, and Vex being into having 2 percy's for whatever reason ;)

New idea for a one shot: The child of Percy and Vex must form a band of adventurers to thwart an evil doppelgänger of her father arisen form the severed arm in an experiment gone wrong and clear his name of the heinous crimes committed to slander the good name. She must also gather aid from Terrance Darrington, Son of Taryon Darrington!
Funny enough, this is the same one shot where Percy breaks the record for most damage in a single attack. Imagine if he didn't have an arm for that

This one shot truly pulled at my heart. I love the mighty nein but vox machina will always hold a special place in my heart and seeing them back again (mostly) was the most beautiful thing.

I just hope Bertrand gets ressurected after its done like Liev'tel. The guy is Lockhart expy, but at least he had actual skills. All he need is to peg down his ego a bit...scratch that, a lot (considering he got 2 exhaustion points & got down multiple times i assume that's how he'll be humbled) and actual dangerous experience (wich the trip to Pandemonium has provide), he'll be a more genuine adventurer.
I know this is one shot, and Lieve'tel & Bertrand arent expected to survive, but i just hoping those two got character development.
On lighter note, i think Pike resurrect Lieve'tel seems foreshadowed by her name that, to me, rhymes with first few of "live to tell the tale"
Other things i wanna add about Bertrand Bell (why i obsessed with him?) is :
1. No one seems to able to tell/guess what Bertrand's Martial Archetype is. I hope Matt's gonna suprise us by releasing another Martial Archetype Homebrew & claim that it is Bertrand's canon subclass.
2. There was a comment in the Live Chat that assume Bertrand is the drunk guy that pull Double Wish on Grog's Deck of Many Things & left without Grog know who he is. Is this HC far-fetched or reasonable?
he didn't die he was just unconscious when they ran out of time i assume they stabilized him and he is doing fine.
@@jc-pi9lf and pike noted they had some form of resurrect, so lieve'tel probably got resurrected.

@@jc-pi9lf no, he failed 3 death saves and died. Pike did say later after the session that she brought her back to life though.
Liam's character died. Sam healed Travis's new character before he made any death saving throws, likely as revenge for putting Taryon and Scanlan together.

I picture in one of the final episodes of TLOVM, we open on the bugbears hiding in the dark, waiting for their prey. Knives glint in the faint light as they snicker to themselves.
Then they begin to charge, leaping over not one, not two, NOT THREE, but four walls to get to Percy! They tear off his arm and run off, but for some reason only Bertrand seems to care. Everyone else just looks annoyed, specifically at Scanlan, who for some reason they’re now calling Sam. Truly a plane of madness, how ever will they recover
Marisha was throwing some SERIOUS shade at Matt for not letting her bring Vax back with True Resurrection in the campaign.
Liam is enjoying himself way too much here and I live for it

De Arm of De Rollo
You may choose to activate this item as a bonus action.
For the first 4 uses of this ancestral relic, the bearer's attack rolls are guaranteed to hit, each one causing a finger to curl in, leaving the middle finger; if the attack roll is a natural 20, it is treated as a successful attack roll with no additional benefits. Upon the fifth use, the middle finger curls in and the next attack roll is an automatic natural 20 with full benefits. Once all fingers are curled in, all of the bearer of this relic's rolls are at disadvantage until they receive a long rest which returns the fingers to their original position.

@@squattingheads By being a poor sport towards the bit that everyone at the table seemed to enjoy/be ok with. reminded me off so many moments in campaign one where she just didn't make sense, or when she tried to meta with Scanlans decision against vecna when he bigsby hand to get closer to vecna to counterspell. Campaign 2 and she is still Meta-ray , talisan as well with his char deuce knowing things that he shouldn't without making an insight checks/being there.

Vax and Keyleth didn't get married. Keyleth was really upset about Vex and Percy getting married because she knew she and Vax could never have that since he had to return to the Raven Queen after Vecna was defeated.
