I like how Marisha had to deploy the book shield for SOMEONE ELSE’S kiss (Fjord and Jester).
The Perch and the Book Shield are fantastic things.

Oh I didn't notice Marisha's reaction, I was so busy watching Ashley just beaming the whole way through that interaction xD I love how excited they are to just watch each person's character to have their moments, it's brilliant

The bathtub bit is still one of the most brilliant, hilarious moments of all 3 campaigns.
I still love how when Fjord and Jester were having their moment, all the rest of the cast is hiding behind hands or books or whatever...and how red Travis turned at the end of it.
The fact that that was everyone's reaction to a couple who are already married irl is what makes it even better

I still will never forget that laura basically challanged her husband that "i will make your character fall in love with me in game" because travis never subscribed to the romance part of dnd.
I really think Laura and Marisha are insanely great roleplayers. I remember Liam saying “Marisha is 3/3 on romancing characters” but seriously so is Laura, and at least two of which I guarantee weren’t counting on being romanced 😂
Someone brilliant took a screenshot of the players sitting at the C3 table, circled Travis, Marisha, and Sam and labelled them "Players romanced by Ashley Johnson", then at the other side of the table circled Ashley, Laura, and Liam (who all sit side-by-side, of course), and labelled THEM "Players romanced by Marisha Ray", then separately labelled "Taliesin Jaffe".

Vax and Grog spending the better part of 15 minutes in real time trying to trip each other in-game
Most recently, Caduceus: ‘Oh, this is going to be fun. I’m going to cast Death Ward on him now and avoid the rush.’
If Caduceus Clay ever multi-classed in bard, his vicious mockery would cast as 3 spell levels higher for free.
Also Vex shooting Scanlan in the neck.
Travis going from visiting brothels and not giving a F as Grog, to doing a fully fledged romance arc with another player as Fjord, to trying to bang everyone and everything (specially if it's made of wood) as Chetney is the best character growth I've ever seen.
When Taliesin brings up Percy's relationship with Vex, you can see the flashbacks on Liam's face. XD
Watch Laura's eyebrow at 11:05. You can see the exact moment she thought of how she was going to end the scene.
Nah, she had that thought from the moment he walked in. You can see her go bug eyed at Liam as soon as he says he walks in on Percy, because she knew she was in there.
As great as her punchline was - I love Travis's reaction to it even more. Talk about relationship goals! Her husband was THAT happy she came up with that! 🤣🤣🤣
@@Adam1984_ Did Tal know that Vex was supposed to be in there too? Were the "cut to the chase lines" in reference to that? Or was Tal just as surprised by the choice?
@@jacobw.6744 He says something like "I was hoping you were gonna say that" when she comes up for air. I don't know if he caught her look, or just knows Laura to have assumed she might have something like that in mind, but I don't think he knew exactly what she was planning.
Still upset they didn’t dig up Henry Crabgrass and put him into a pot and adopt him as a fully fledged member of the M-9

I recently saw the first episode with him, and they contemplated doing that, but decided that they didn't want to accidentally break any roots and loose part of him.
One of my favorite player moments is the "hug me through my wife" at the end of campaign 1. Character or story speaking is the scene in the titan where Vex and Vax attack three hooded figures standing by an entrance... If you know you know. And for C2 all the moments with Kiri and Sprinkle, and Shakasta fail to use his spiritual weapon nefertiti. C3 so far is laudna's tale.
Why can't I remember the vex and Vax one unless it was before episode 28 or 29... I didn't watch those... tried but couldnt.
It was at the end of campaign 1. At the end of 113 ep. Is the most watch moment of that episode.
You picked one of the most traumatic moments that I experienced during C1 my goodness. My first angry tears from any fictional work 😅

that season 1 moment i was watching at a tea break and my coworkers were so concerned cause they saw me looking at my phone in horror
Seeing Liam's pure enjoyment of his friends playing out a scene for Laura's kiss with both Travis' character and laudna's character is so amazing, he's not yelling or freaking out, just soaking in their roleplay
I'm still waiting for them to publish that storybook Liam wrote.

My favorite micro moment is the scene with Beau & Caleb before they crossed the bridge in Bazzoxan. Specifically I love the moment where they offer each other berries and whiskey. That whole scene was a gorgeous candid and a heart-to-heart at the same time, and did both seamlessly, but for some reason the way Caleb offers his whiskey he just bought and Beau's "Whaaaat?" at finding out he had it kills me in the best way.
The date is probably the CR episode Ive rewatched the most. Beyond just being incredibly cute, its remarkable how cleanly in falls into place as a milestone on both of their arcs. And it ends on a, probably unintentionally, perfect callback to them at the start of C2.
This and the first visit to Caleb’s tower
I can't help but watch Marisha's face through all of these clips. She is vaudevillian in her brilliant, honest expressions.
I spent some time looking up vaudevillian on the Internet to understand what you meant, and im still confused lol
My favorite moment is the "throw sandbag game" in campaign 2 with Fjord, Yasha, and Jester. It was the most perfect sequence of rolls and events that I saw.

I love Travis being unable to contain his sheer joy and delight at his wife's amazing gag (ewww poor word choice). Literally jumping up and screaming to the skies because it was so good. I love CR so much
C3 e1 when fcg talks about how he was called and his siblings and their names. This had me in tears.
I mean it’s part of What The Fuck Is Up With That? so it counts.
Honestly, any time one of them says something and you just see the giggle virus spreading. Laura with “in too deep to pull out now” comes to mind.
I saw that in theaters and it was cracking everyone up and I peed a little with how hard I was laughing.
Did that moment make you…”shiver” just a bit? A true fan knows where I am going with this…

One of my favourite mini moments is when Beau and Fjord talk about their plans and backup plans against the Tombtakers in episode 132. It's just fantastic all around, with Fjord being serious and Beau needing reassurance, using each other as support for the rest of the team. Really shows off their Captain/First Mate dynamic so well.
I especially love when Fjord says "I don't think we're leaving", and the music swells up perfectly at that moment to match with Beau's realisation and dread. It's so good
Gotta include this bit as well:
Fjord: "We've definitely had the tables turned on us before, but for the moment, we're at least between him and what he wants."
Beau: "Yeah."
Fjord: "But we are going to win this thing. We're going to fight until the last second and we're going to win. There is no leaving, maybe for some, but not for me. And I don't think for you."
Beau: "(sighs) Just thinking about the others."
Fjord: "I know. They look to you."
Beau: "Let's not disappoint."
Fjord: "We won't."
Beau: "Okay."
It's so cinematic, I love it
Watching the Percy/Vax bath scene, watching Laura, for you can see her come up with the idea based on the looks her face.
I will never not laugh at how red travis got when doing that romance scene with laura. Dudes literally married to her irl, hell has he has a child with her, and yet is getting flustered doing a lil romance with her in game. Just cracks me up, especially now that he is playing Chetney who is not shy about talking about sex and tries to seduce the ladies in the party constantly.
I only just saw this but I HAD to come here to thank you - this was the question I had submitted for SDCC and never in a million years did I actually expect it to get selected... and then you make THIS and it just makes it even better. Thank you so very much! :)
With how giggly Laura got about fjords kiss it’s no wonder why it’s a favorite

For laughs, just so many, especially with Imogen using the spell sniper feat with Tasha’s Hideous Laughter. “In too deep to pull out now” and “Mr. Dicklick” are two of my favorites.
I love how you can see the thought enter Laura’s head while vax was interrupting Percy’s bath
I always love when this question gets asked, and it’s wonderful when the cast shares their favorites. It’s probably because I have a ranked list of my top 5 Critical Role moments of all time… 😅
no one ever mentions from early campaign one when travis as grog broke the mechanical pencil, but it's one of my personal favorites
Mine will forever be nott and yasha talking in episode 68. That moment made the episode and lives rent free forever in my head.

Katzenprinz is definitely one of my top moments, but Caleb to me was such an awesome character for Liam to play, his ending of going back to Blumenthal was another great Caleb moment.
Pike teaching Grog to read was another that i was hoping would be on here; both funny and very sweet.

Some favorite moments of mine are the snow fight in Campaign 2, the conversation between Ashton and Percy in Campaign 3, and Percy and Keyleth being drunk together. Good times.
Also the forehead kiss between Molly and Caleb.
