Thank you for the reminder not to waste your first set. I do tend to pick a safe weight I know I can do and then go up or down accordingly, but it makes so much more sense to push yourself when you're fresh!

Thanks Sydney for a good lower body workout. Today I worked out twice, one in the morning & one now in the afternoon. Your lower body workouts are helping me heal post knee surgery, but without weights as I am not allowed to. I am so glad that I can pick up any of these workouts & modify to my requirements. Loved this one & crushed it💪💪💪💪💪🔥😊
Love how you said "the way you push through the workout is the way you can push through things outside of here" - I've recently gotten back to training with you after running my first marathon this year and I just love all the parallels with how much mental strength comes into play with running, fitness, and life in general. During the back squats it was feeling SO hard, and I actually mentally pictured myself pushing through the last few miles of the marathon to remind myself I could keep going. The more we do hard things, the more evidence that we CAN push through something even when it feels like we can't! Thanks for everything you do ❤

Yesterday (12/11) was my 30th birthday! I went for a 4 mile walk and crushed this video today (12/12). This is exactly how I wanted to look and feel entering my 30s. Thank you Sydney!
Split squats just about sent me to the floor earlier than Sydney had planned but I adjusted my feet and took them off the riser near the end and carried on. My legs were shaking but I still got through this workout! Good on everyone who's doing these workouts, they're a challenge and we are strong! Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!
I am almost 6 months post bilateral hip replacement. I'm 48 years old. My lower body lost alot of strength and flexibility for many years so now I'm working myself back into building my lower body. This was a challenge and there were things I couldn't do yet but I broke a sweat and I felt my muscles burning. Thank you!!
Crushed it! What I’m working on is balance. Both physically and mentally. Balance physically, I am wobbly and need to reconnect with yoga. Mentally, I need a better work life balance. My 60-70 work week I can no longer sustain. 12/14/24
