    Again fabulous adds damn how i drool watching your vidz.
    I'd get lost in that price guide.
    I'm bouncing around with my reading ...
    Steve Canyon, Secret Agent X-9, Crime does not pay, Golfen age Green Hornet, all star comics ... my pockets don't run deep so these are all through, collections, Byrne Supes.
    Had a few nice adds couple of issues of Konga, Captain Atom.Black Rider.
    I tend to settle with goods very goods - i'm okay with this as i'm just happy to read and own them.
    Also hooked on watching classic cliffhanger serials again jumping around ...
    Spy Smasher, Green Hornet, Adventures of Shazam, Ghost of Zorro, Lone Ranger, you get the idea!
    Thanks for another cool installment.
    🙋🏻‍♂️

      Love everything that you listed. The collections are the best to get. With the exception of the old paper smell, they can't be beat. I'm currently read some Phantom, Popeye and Dick Tracy collections. The serials are delightful as well. I just found out that there is a Smilin' Jack serial. Need to get and enjoy that. Great books you picked up. Enjoy those reads. Thank you you wonderful comment and kind words. Take care and stay well. Best\Steve

    Remember how for decades we used to dread walking into a comic shop and they would pull out the Overstreet to price the books in front of you! Now it's the opposite. Maybe we were underpaying for all those back issues we purchased for decades. Maybe the demand did warrant much higher prices but there was no means of obtaining the books such as the internet. Is comic book fandom so much larger than it was 30 years ago? Is it larger because so many books are headed overseas through internet sales? I hope (PRAY!), that the inflated prices on books are temporary and that things will return to normal soon. Great video as always buddy!

      Thank you for the great thoughtful comment. I too hope the inflated prices are temporary. I'm afraid that the Silver Age is the new Golden Age and the Bronze Age is the new Silver Age. Time will tell as they say. Thanks for the kind words. Best\Steve

    I haven't bought an Overstreet price guide in years, most places i buy comics from use ebay to gauge the prices("your comics are worth what people are willing to pay for them"is the motto).I always did like looking at the pages that had the photos of the comics though(in the overstreet guide).I never bought much of the B&W comics mags growing up(that was in my brother's wheelhouse though). My son works in an auction house where i live and it seems a lot of those old comic magazines go through there.I'll have to tell my brother about your channel and this video because he would probably have a lot of comments for you.

      Yes, the OPG can go out the window when it comes to the true value of comics. I have never paid guide for my comics. Always multiple of what's stated in the guide But, the other information I find invaluable like my Gerber Journals. Thanks again for viewing, Keith and commenting. Take care and stay well. Steve, that Lost Universe Guide looks like a great reference. Iwas not aware of those Six Million Dollar Man Magazines. I'm collecting the Charlton comic book run. May have to search for those mags. "TV show, I'm a Moon Knight fan!" LOL!!! Did I hear train horns in the background? Do you live near train tracks? I grew up in a town that the train went through, and we heard the horns all the time. I loved it and still do! Thanks for the shout out!

      Hey Joe my friend. Thank you for coming by. I really enjoyed your comment. The Six Million Dollar Man magazine is great. Such a fun read and nice to have in the collection. There were 7 issues of the magazine. They can be a bit pricy but well worth it. Yes, our house is close to a railroad track. Its nice to hear but not during a video😉. You are welcome. You are a great guy and a great asset to the community. Keep doing what you are doing. Its great. Go Navy! Best\Steve

    Hi, Charlton 66! The only '70s b/w comic magazine that I have is Rampaging Hulk number 3, and if I go to Baltimore Comic Con this year I hope to get it signed by Walter Simonson. That reminds me, will you be at the Baltimore convention this year? Never mind, I think I already know the answer. I don't know if you remember this, but in a comment section last year, I told you I would be at the convention. I had a change of plans, and I did not end up going. What issue of Back Issue Magazine was your letter printed in? Have you heard of the Doc Savage Fanzine, the Bronze Gazette? It started in the early '90s, and went at least until 2016. It seems like something that you'd be interested in. I'd like to correct you on the pronunciation of Mark Evanier's last name. You pronounced it "Evan-yay". That's a common and understandable mistake, but the correct pronunciation is "Evan-year".

      @charlton6674  2 года назад +1

      Thank you for the comment. And the name correction. I always get his name wrong. Baltimore is always on the comic book calendar. I hope you get to make it this year. Rampaging Hulk, great stiff. I like the Bloodstone feature the best. Take care buddy and stay well. Best\Steve

    I haven’t looked an an overstreet in years. And now I kinda want a current one. One thing I’ve always loved about overstreet is their grading guide. It’s the standard as far as I’m concerned. NOT CGC 🙄.
