Very true. Watching the mess from the sidelines still makes me sad to what a partial area of fandom, if I can call it that has turned into. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve

Agreed! Some pulp covers have some of the finest and imaginative art. I have several art books with the great pulp covers. Some wonderful stuff. I have to settle for the reproductions. The originals are so very pricey. And rightly so. "G-8 And His Battle Aces" come to mind. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Your support is greatly appreciated. Take care and stay well. Love the pulps . i like you have not jumped all the way down that rabbit hole yet. But great stuff i will try to pick up at some time . Beautiful books at the end . Thanks for the show my friend
Most of the time they will fit in Golden Age bag/boards. Once in a blue moon, I'll need to use a magazine bag/board. Thank you for coming by and commenting. Take care my friend. Best/Steve
Hello Jerrod. Back in the 7th grade, The Avenger was my first introduction to the pulp world through the Warner paperbacks. The paperbacks I showed in this video are my original one I bought all those years ago. I really like the stories too! Moonstone has done a terrific job with the character. Thank you for stopping by and commenting. Your support is great appreciated. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
@@charlton6674 My first Avenger paperback was the Smiling Dogs, I was reading a lot of Doc Savage at the time but I like the characters in the Avenger more than Doc’s team. Thank you for your response.
@@1971thedoctor Awesome! My first Avenger adventure was the "Blood Ring." The Avenger led me to Doc and I find them just as fun. I just enjoy the world of the pulp heroes and the whole genre. They go well with the Old Radio Shows. I was born way too late lol. Take care, Jarrod and stay well. Best/Steve
Hi Steve. Good to see you again! Hope you are doing well. Thank you for another great video. Lot of war comics in that bunch that Jess sent; some classics there (not just war)! Russ Heath cover on the G.I.Combat issue. Right nice of Jess to send those; that's a good friend there!
Hello Ken. Thank you for the kind words. I hope you are doing well. Yes, those comics are great reads. I am about half way through the stack. Like I said, he also sent some fine Western history books. Jess is aces. Thank you for coming by and commenting. Your support is greatly appreciated. Best/Steve
Charlton 66! I’ve been waiting for you to post another video! Glad you had fun at Pulpfest! I first became interested in pulps because of your videos. 38:28 you’re forgetting Drsilverage.
OMG!!! How could I forget the good old Doctor. I hope you see this Rod, and forgive me forgetting you. Paulo too! Man, I'm getting old. My memory needs to be a bit better. I knew I was forgetting some folks. Thank you for the kind words. I hope you find and or have some nice pulps in you collection. I find them very interesting and fun. Aw Steve you make me blush. Just a bunch of misfit books. And you know I like to share the love. I still need to get into those shadows you gave me. Busy at work. Pulp fest sounds fun. Watching some guy pull out Charlton after charlton. I have been there. I bet you handled that with great class. No everyone does. Great video. I love your videos. Take care man
Hi Jess. You are a kind soul. And, I appreciate what you do for the comic community. I know I am not the only one who have been the recipient of your kindness. I really enjoy the funny books. Thank you so much for the kind words and being a part of the community. Best/Steve
