MY FAVS! Hii Joce!! 😍 HALF PRICED BOOKS IS THE BEST 👏🏻 All those magical whimsical books I want to read them all. Omgg the kingdom of little wounds looks amazing? This was such a great book haul??! I'm so glad you vlogged this! Have fun at booknetfest!
Booktube friendships give me so much life. Especially when two of my fav booktubers do stuff together! Thanks for sharing this. Could you maybe list the names of the bookstores you go to? If I ever travel to the states I would love to visit some of these stores!
your smile and laugh make my depressed anxious disabled life so much better thank you. plus all the books i have read because of your recommendation is just a bonus. 😀👍❤️📚
Omg as a fellow book lover i instantly recognized on the wall the cut out bag of the Shakespeare and company library in paris because i did exactly the same with mine once i got home 😍 that place is dreamy 🙀
Literally so many of my fav bookstores in Berkeley. Bay Area is the best place for bookstores. Try the ones on Piedmont Ave. in Oakland. There are about 3 bookstores and 1 comic book store on less than 2 blocks. The stores are small but full of surprises.
I love this video since I watch Joce videos. It was a surprise to see you together! Love the bookstore tour, the music and your book hauls. I already added some books to my wish list. I'm also a cover lover! 🤷🏻♀️My best wishes to both of you in your respective channels!
I'm always so excited when I see a notification from your channel. It makes me so happy and I know the vid gonna make me feel so much better. Love you, Hannah, so freaking much!!!! You're literally the best💖💖💖💖💖💖
It's always a good time when Hannah posts a vlog 😁💗 oh man, I can't wait to hear your thoughts on Queen of the Tearling, it's one of my favourites! :D I'd classify it as adult
I love this video, I wish I had someone who would go to all the bookstores with me. I can't wait to read More Than This, I love Patrick Ness' writing style. The short story collection by Kelly Link sounds also really good!
Beautiful. Never been to a Half Price Books but OMG those leatherbound books! Were the prices good there? Jane Steele gets a much better love interest. Nice haul!
Hey Hannah! So I literally just bought 9 new books from the bookstore and pretty much every single one is recommended in one of your videos, you have some crazy good recommendations!!
I don't wanna be rude at all but here's kind of a fun fact: in 1899 Germany was still ruled by Kaiser Wilhelm the second :). The Nazi regime started in 1933 (so much later). Since I'm from Germany it's pretty important to me to point that out because we've not always been ruled by the Nazis which everyone seems to think (it's relatable because German history is mainly known for that). Again, I don't want to be rude, but maybe it's interesting to know ?🤗 I enjoyed the video so much, thank you for taking us with you :)!! Have a nice day
Mary Vanilly wasn't he queen Victoria's grandson or nephew. I'd seen a documentary on him, the tzar of Russia + queen Elizabeth's father and how the tiffs that they had was kinda the reason for the rise of the Nazi's and fall of the German and Russian monarchy.
Mary Vanilly Hi! Just wanted to clear up when the book is set and thank you for clarifying :) It starts in 1899 but it jumps forward to when the Nazi regime was, so after 1933.
every time you recommend or haul books, i find myself buying them too. ugh, you're turning me into a shopaholic!!! (btw i just finished the night circus the other day and im still sobbing over how amazing it is)
I've picked up Night Circus and Six of Crows because of you mentioning them so much. I'll get around to them eventually since I'm doing a one author read-a-thon
Oh my goodness! I miss Half Price Books. I always go there when I'm home, but there are none where I go to school. It's honestly where I buy all my books
The bookstores everywhere are so much bigger and better than the knes in nz (they're tiny and they have like no range I stg). These bookstores look amazing.
I dont remember what state I was in, but I absolutely LOVE half priced books!!! Thanks for taking us along on you're bookstore trip 😊 I love these kind of videos
I love the videos when you travel to bookstores!! Makes me a bit jealous because I'm on a book buying ban 😭😭 soon I shall have the biggest book haul ever!!!
THE CHAO WALKING TRILOGY IS SO GOOD!!! It was the first book ever to make me cry because the end of the first book is so sad. Also, get all three books at the same time because the first two both have cliffhangers =D.
The Chaos Walking series is probably my favorite book series, I recommend it to so many people! And I just love Patrick Ness books, I think you'll really enjoy More Than This and I hope you read The Chaos Walking series soon :) I flew through them so quickly!
Bookstores in the US, UK, CN, and even AU have such large collections. I saw 3 copies of Dune in this video, while in my country I'm amazed if I see even just one copy in a store. Bookstores in my country suck, and we aren't even listed in BookOutlet =))
Queen of the Tearling is so freaking good! But even if you don't particularly enjoy the first one in the trilogy you just have to read the second one because it's so feministic and it's just a masterpiece! xx
Hi! This is @catfairyreadsya from Twitter! We met at the BookNet Fest! And OMG you need to read Pretty Monsters by Kelly Link before you read anything else! Her magical realism stories are just phenomenal! One of her stories that I highly recommend is The Faery Handbag! Sooo freaking good!
I love USA libraries they're filled up with lots of books and is so easy to find hardcover books which is basically imposible in my country (at least in my city)
I really enjoyed this!! I have to admit, I'm guilty of adding "The Queen of the Tearling" to my TBR list simply because it's so gorgeous. I was wondering: have you read "The Rithmatist" by Brandon Sanderson? I saw that you had read the Mistborn series by him, and I just wanted to pass on a good word for my personal favorite book of his! He really does have a knack for creating unique, well-developed magical worlds that suck you in. I highly recommend it! Happy reading Hannah!! :^))
I read the Kingdom of Little Wounds in one day and it is a wonderfully written book, but has very little to do with the princess it mentions in the summary xp Also it's basically a historical fiction / fairy tale revolving around syphilis XD
Whimsical or magical aren't exactly words that I would use to describe More Than This -- I'd go for heartbreaking haha. It is definitely a book to go into barely knowing anything
Wish i had friends who were into books as much as i am but there either half way across the country or like the complete opposite genre, still i'd rather have the latter so i can try and branch out. At the moment it's basically whatever appeals to me and taking the safe bet.
I wish I had a friend to just go to different bookstores with 😩
Italy PASTA saaaaame
Same!!!
same
I wish... I had a friend 😂 just kidding but I totally feel you, I'm the only one who reads in my group of friends :(

"Watch another book haul" I said, "I won't add any new books to my to-read list", I said...
...Why do I keep lying to myself?
The Bookish Badger me too 😂 I already have 5 new ones because of booktube.
Yes, the struggle is so real!!
The Bookish Badger yes same!! I feel like I spend more time in the bookstore then I do reading
I do that every single time! 😂
I have like 30 books in my to-read list and it's freaking still growing I'm trying so hard not to add more but who I'm lying to🌚
Yess these are my favourite videos to watch! There's something so enjoyable about watching someone go to a book store and I don't know why😂x
I WANNA GO TO A BOOKSTORE SO BAAAAAD
MY FAVS! Hii Joce!! 😍
HALF PRICED BOOKS IS THE BEST 👏🏻

I'm reading the Night Circus because of you and I love it!
Can I go to the bookstore with you as well????? (I live in Europe but that probably won't be a problem right?!?)
Books Michelle next time I come to Europe, I'll plan a book shopping trip and we can all go together 👍🏼
Same, but for Australia! :)
Nooo, the Netherlands! We're a fun country, I swear! 😂
I go to Germany all the time, return the favour ;)
Psshhh, we'll just see where the eagle lands, won't we? :P
I LOVE YOUUUUU THANK YOU FOR FINDING ME JANE STEELE THE BOOK GODS BLESSED US ILYSM XOXOXO
Paradise. So many books.😍
My country, books are pretty exspensive.
Alexandra Raschke In Latvia.
Alexandra Raschke Paperback is about 13 € and hardcover is 15-20 €. Sometimes more. If the book are popular then book cost 22-26€
You're lucky books in my country cost about 100 to 500 something.
The country I'm living in doesn't have a bookstore at all😢😢😢😢
Alexa W. My country barely has any books worth a second look and their all expensive
Booktube friendships give me so much life. Especially when two of my fav booktubers do stuff together! Thanks for sharing this. Could you maybe list the names of the bookstores you go to? If I ever travel to the states I would love to visit some of these stores!
Bookstore blogs are by far my favourite!

Nice haul!
