I finally decided to pick up The Night Circus a week ago (I had seen it in bookstores a million times but I never actually took it home) and I'm so glad I did because it's become one of my absolute favourites!!
I took mine off of my shelves to get rid of and I agree, it feels so good ! Some of mine are signed and I thought I'd be bummed but no just the opposite 😂
Chloe Hawley I was kind of indifferent towards the Throne of Glass books (just didn't enjoy them very much), but the ACOTAR books had a lot of things in them that REALLY annoyed me so yeah I'm not a big Sarah J. Maas fan hahaha. But different opinions for everyone of course! If you did like her books then I'm happy you enjoyed them 😊
I feel like it's a thing now like it was with Twilight, first they loved it and then they were so proud to say that they hate them. People seem to be yelling their hatred on every video or site that has anything to do with Sarah ( we get it you don't like some things but you don't need to be so annoying about it and let the people who like it enjoy it). Anyway to each their own 🌹
Not even surprised you got rid of Throne of Glass. I---like you---really liked the first two books (particularly Crown of Midnight) and I thought the third one was all right, but I just never moved on with the series. I tried like 5 times to get into Queen of Shadows, and it just never happened. Also, I have just heard too many bad reviews about that book and the following one that I have just decided to not continue with the series, and I honestly might just unhaul them like you did since I have no intention of ever rereading them or continuing on with the series. I am sure it will feel super liberating!
I really like watching unhauls bc they inspire me to check my shelves for books to let go. They should be read instead of collecting dust, and I could always use the space. I love booksandlala closet unhaul series bc of that. I'm glad you have more space for new books Hannah :)

I recently unhauled books from my shelf. Removed about 200 of them. It's a lot, I know, but I read 90-95% of them and have no desire to read them again. It felt great to do and made room for all my new book purchases.
Was really waiting for that Throne of Glass unhaul. My sentiments regarding the series are along the same lines as yours, and this video has me wondering whether I should unhaul them as well... Especially after that filler novel about Chaol released recently, I don't even know if I should read it because i don't even like Chaol, and honestly, I was waiting for the last book so that the series would be DONE finally. But i still want to know how everything ends, and I've spent way too much money on the previous books, so I don't know what to do anymore lol

i have a couple of book recommendations for you, you should read the ascendance trilogy which consists of the False Prince, The Runaway King, and the Shadow Throne, my next recommendation is Simon vs. the homosapiens agenda and the upside of uniqued by Becky Allbertalli, next is A Gentlemen's Guide to Vice and Virtue, and last is A Quest For Kair. I really hope you see this and read these books because they are some of my favorites

Across the Universe was such a big deal a few years ago when dystopian was really popular. I read the first book but never continued with the series. This is the reasons why I don't get subscription boxes, I'd end up with a load of books I would never read.
I unhauled around 180 books this year. I had read 99% of them though. I don't really unhaul books I haven't read unless I think there's absolutely no way I will ever pick them up.
