    Unconjugated biliruben is turned in the intestine into sterckobilinogen
    but in the bladder into urobilinogen.

    amazing video , few things to add
    the heme that was broken breaks too biliverdin first by heme oxygenase and then bilirubin by biliverdin reductase so then this bilirubin is taken into liver by binding of albumin (facilated diffusion) because like you said its insouluble so then bilirubin is joined with glucoronic acid forming bilirubin glucosiduronate which is then moved to bile by ABC TRANSPORTER( atp binding casscade) then intestine deconjugated by bacteria forming urobilinogen and then what u said basically about it oxidised to form urobilin which gives poop the its color lol
    thank u so much.

    One of my friend has jaundice last month and taken allopathy treatment for the same but her jaundice keep on increasing day by day with loss of appetite . Then she switch to ayurvedic treatment and see the positive effect of medication , now she is fine with a very low level of bilirubin left.

    This video is AMAZING!! Not only did you make the material easy to understand, but you also made it fun to look at with your cute smiley faces and expressions.
    The only question I have is in regards to cases of elevated unconjugated bilirubin. If there is elevated amounts, can there still be absent urine bilirubin?? I understand that the liver is doing its best to convert the excess UCB to CB thus eventually resulting in "dark colored urine," but is this only if there is too much UCB? I hope that makes sense.

    Why the body needs to store the billirubin in the gall bladder/bile acid instead of just eliminate them from the body directly?

    • @sophietay103
      @sophietay103 4 года назад

      I believe the reason is because biliverdin (breakdown of heme from RBC) is converted into bilirubin which is insoluble. So it needs a transport like albumin to move about. If we eliminate them from the body directly, wouldn't we lose a lot of our albumin (protein)? That's why we send the unconjugated bilirubin to the liver to be conjugated so that it can then be excreted out that way.

    Why the bilirubin is toxic to neonatal baby while it's non toxic to baby who have more than 10 days?

  • @CJ-ux3fg
    @CJ-ux3fg 4 года назад

    I worry that i have this or something similar that is affecting my skin. It started happening about a month after a party where I thought I was poisoned. It might be some sort of an infection or an STD but I have no idea how to treat it unless I see a doctor for help. Because medicine seriously does miracles. On top of this I stopped going to the bathroom almost entirely. There is intermittent pain everywhere that comes and goes. It's amazing how well medications can improve your memory if your liver and gallbladder are working at their highest compacity. It's so important to value everything you have and to say what you mean.
    Scarier than this is when you have a hard time breathing and you can't sleep, your heart is pounding and you're desperate that someone will be there for you. You want medicine and you hope it's the right medicine, and you doubt it's going to be because you've always been a doubting person.
    You realize how selfish you were and hope to God there is recovery.

    I thought it turns into sterkobilin in the intestines and urobilin only in the kidney?

    • @duajamil3120
      @duajamil3120 5 лет назад

      Yes urobilinogen turns into stercobilin by oxidation done by intestinal flora and is excretred through feces while 10%of UBG is converted to urobilin which is excretred through urine and a small portion of it enters enterohepatic urobilinogen cycle
