I bought the shoe about three weeks ago. It felt pretty good on my foot. I played a few times. First match my foot startes hurting on the sole. Last Sunday I played my second match and fractured my plantar fascie. The doctor said he had never seen that in his 30 year career. I will not use these shoes again and switch back to the previous brand.
The Apple watch hurts me! But the shoes are sweet!!! I’ve been wearing Barticades about a year now. I’m not a huge fan! Think I’ll try these or the Ubersonics!!!
Definitely 10:10 for looks. I'm not a slider but want a solid base without tok much stiff upper. My MACH iii are great but are a stiff ride along with some heavy rubber uppers.
Good review Ashley! I think the energy rod looks a bit strange.. a bit slug-like. Perhaps if it wasn't in a contrasting colour it would be less noticeable. On that note, I'll be waiting for other colourways of these shoes. Not too keen on this one.
I use the asics gel resolution but want to switch to either this shoe or the barricade, which one do you recommend? I like the asics but I need the wide fit and they are very hard to find. Looking for the one that is more comfortable
how did you find these compared with asics solution / resolution 9 (basically)??? i have the barricades and wanted to switch to asics but found your video about the new cybersonics. i tried all the new asics range and found that the new resolution have the best fit for me.
Thanks for the review, would be good to know your thoughts if they suit a particular type of player, e.g. baseline etc and what the lateral support is like for a speed trainer. 🙂

Thank you for the video! Do you know how stiff the midsole is compared to a shoe like the K Swiss Ultrashot 3s? I wear Ubersonics, but tried the Swiss line only to find the sole way too hard by comparison and causing my feet a lot of pain. Hopeful that isn’t the case with these.
Why don't the shoe companies reffer to sizes in actual measurements, as in cm/inches? I wear 32 cm insoles. My two Nikes are size 14 (32 cm). I am looking to buy either an Asics FF2 Clay or a GR8 Clay. Both Asics boxes say size 15 (32 cm). Should I just go for the measures in cm?
I've been wearing the K Swiss Hyper express 2 due to its cushioning and lightweight nature in view to preventing achillies injuries. How do these Cybersonics compare?
Yes, these are more comfortable than the barricades when you first put them on and slightly lighter and faster. The barricades will be more durable and a little wider.
I used to love the adidas Solecourt boost, which they no longer make ☹️ For my wide feet the barricades fit my foot best but were tough to break in. The newer versions are apparently softer so I’m looking forward to trying them
@TheTennisMentor hey my fav shoes is the same. The solecourt boost but i cant find it anymore. Do you think the cybersonic is a good replacement? I need solecourt as it has side support to prevent twisting ankle

I’d say that they suit an all court player, someone that covers a lot of ground. They’re pretty sturdy!!

I’d say these feel more supportive than the Ubers… the upper is thicker, holding your foot in place

I didn’t do any time testing, but they certainly feel faster than the Barricades and they felt springier than the Ubersonics!
