I loved the Cosmic bubble, Uncraftable and More Villages mods. The Uncraftable mod should be implemented by devs in vanilla MC as sometimes we craft some stuffs and don't need them anymore, so this item can be very helpful to get back all the resources which were used!

The idea of heavily limiting the conveniency of things like stack sizes of ores in order to force usage of neglected aspects of the game is an interesting concept- I’ve never once even seen anybody bother to use a minecart chest and rail system to bring things up and down into cave systems. I don’t know of it’s a GOOD way to encourage the usage of those mechanics, though. It feels more like a severe hinderance. Even if the minecart chest would have more of a use, it isn’t particularly beneficial enough to balance out the lack of being able to stack ores anymore than once. Maybe the carts could have specialized storage for massive amounts of a single item- more so than you could carry in your inventory anyway- that could very rapidly be unloaded into another cart or chest instead of needing a hopper. There just needs to be more utility in the mechanic itself- not severe limitations in the rest of the game that forces you to try using it. Hoping the mod creator sees this

I generally hate the debate of forge and fabric why there are people on one side of a modloader I wish there was an modloader that supports both forge and fabric mods
heyyo everyone! does anyone here knows if the items from the Caves and Cliffs backport mod would disappear or get replaced by the vanilla ones if I update to 1.17?(and remove the mod) I'm really excited to use those new blocks in my village but I'm hesitating on working on it yet using the backport mod.
The way mods work, if you remove the mod, the items and blocks it adds will be removed from your worlds, even if there's an equivalent vanilla item in the new version.

An uncrafting table would be too op for the main game. Think about it: villagers sell diamond gear already, so it would mean infinite diamonds.

You should do datapacks. There are a lot of great ones and they don't receive enough attention
