    Awesome Tutorial and Software!!! Some names changed in the last build, "Black body Intensity" is now "Fire Color Intensity", and "Temperature adjustment" is now "Fire Temperature adjustment" :D

    I think it's really cool how you can drag out a nodes input wire an it shows you options for what you can connect to it.

    Very helpful, I've referred back to this several times. Would love to see a preset system for the gradients. I'd be helpful to flip between different gradients from the Embergen team, but would also be great if we could save our own to use in different projects.

      A gradient preset system is coming with our next major update. Time and time again I've wished that I could save gradients and that wish will be coming true soon!

    Love the program, any plans to import your own custom OBJ as a Shape: Primitive? So that smoke can emit from a custom object?
    EDIT: You just need to right click in the node editor, go to SHAPE and create a MESH node. Then u can import OBJ or FBX and then just click on Voxelize.

    Great tutorial and super awesome software but it would be great if you could update the tutorial sereies since quite a lot has changed in the new release and as a beginner it's kinda hard to follow :)

    Cool :) And are you guys planning integrate .alembic files for example? ....to set emitting point to specific object part, including object part collision, possibly more than one emitting source...?

    I've been messing with this for a while now, and whatever I do, the direction of the point light is not affecting the lighting of my smoke. The light intensity works, but the direction does nothing. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

    I just wanna ask, is this one-time purchase?

    • @jangafx
      @jangafx  3 года назад

      It can be if you want it to be. If you buy an "annual license" that comes with a permanent license. Continuing to pay just gives you updates. So yes.

    Hey, thanks for the video. I am a student and try to learn the software, could you maybe explain how to create a flame that start at the bottom of a cloth piece and quickly burn upwards? As if you are lighting a molotov cocktail :D

      I saw a tutorial not too long about about how to do something similar with the pyro system in C4d. I believe it had something to do with using vertex maps with the fuel settings.
