    Download a 14 day fully functional trial of EmberGen from this link jangafx.com/
    EmberGen is a real time volumetric simulation program that allows you to easily create smoke and fire simulations. It's very easy to use and incredibly powerful! Being able to control and see an immediate result of a simulation like smoke and fire allows us to iterate and be more creative since we no longer have to wait hours to see an end result.

    Great overview, look forward to more Embergen videos, especially how to render with Octane.

      Thank you, i'm planning to do Embergen + Octane tutorial when Embergen is integrated directly with Octane. I think it would make the process of explaining how to use both of them quite easy. For now you have to export out of the standalone program of Embergen as a VDB and import that into Octane.

      Thank you Carter for watching the video. This program is basically "Arsonist Simulator" lol. Burn it all! Burn it to the ground! Make it look gooooood!

    i'm very interest to know how to export my model animations and how to have all my parameters with octane for c4d!
    Thanks for the tut btw!

      Are you referring to the animations that you keyframe manually in Embergen or you want to import a model into Embergen that is already animated? I know currently it doesn't support import of animated objects/characters, you can only import your own static OBJ and FBX meshes. On Discord they said they would include this functionality later to import animations. Regarding the octane + c4d, i'm waiting for the Embergen plugin to get released for octane + c4d before I cover that as i think it would make more sense to explain all of that at once since they will all work in conjunction with each other.

      Travis Davids No I was just referring to export animations done in Embergen and you’re right it’s better to wait incorporated plugin it’ll be better ! Thank

    When I go to animate, the parameters black out and I can't change them to animate them.

    tutorial how export embergen object with animation to the cinema4d/octane please? :O if its possible

    • @TravisDavids
      @TravisDavids  4 года назад +1

      It's possible :) You can do this yourself right now. Go to 11:39 I show you how to export out a VDB sequence and then in C4D with octane, you create an octane Volume and just simply import the VDB.

      They are already working on it, it's in very early development. Apparently it will be called LiquiGen.
