      We're planning on making full "start from scratch" tutorials when our new UI is finished in Q1 2021. As soon as that's done, prepare for tons and tons of learning materials! For now you can look back at some of our streams and learn a thing or two.

    Wouldn't it be possible to do volumetric flip-books now according to this video at 6:44 ruclips.net/video/QGIKrD7uHu8/видео.html . What do you think? Would you be interested in expanding your flipbook export tools to include these spacial slices as well?

    One thing i do when rendering flip book textures from houdini is animate the render cam to maximise the resolution for initial frames (that generally appear smaller) or to track a rising fireball from an explosion. Will there be a similar animating camera feature within Embergen in the future?

      You can animate cameras now, but it's not very straight forward. We have a better camera system coming out in our next update. So yes :)

    Hi great tutorial! I was wondering, what does render combined render? Isnt that every channel? Do I really need to export emissive and the other ones separately? Also does it texture pack or do I need all RGB channels for the diffuse / albedo for my main color output?

    EmberGen is a buyer.
    Please tell me how to use Sixpoint to create a 6WayLightMap FlipBook and then take it to UE4.
    I am worried that each channel is made white and different from other Tutorial.
    EmberGen is starting to study. Thank you.

      @@jangafx 7 month later... you realized there was opportunity for a built in feature for looping simulation and adding that took a bit longer

      @@daslolo 7 month later our plans changed and our UI is changing too. Some things just get pushed back. We have a built in looping feature though. Simulation node > timing controls > looping > loop simulation

    I have a simulation where I brought a statue as an emitter and I want to keep the statue in my flipbook how can I make it visible?

      Not possible yet, but in our next update you'll be able to render holdout objects like that.

    Hi there. Love your tutorial videos. Just bought an annual license. Could you turn off RUclips monetization for your channel? You're not getting enough views to benefit and the ads are annoying. Thanks! :-)

      Even if we turn off monetization there are still ads due to youtubes new ad policy. We have tried to remove mid roll ads etc but RUclips just keeps re-enabling it. Out of our control at this point unfortunately. Just use adblock plus :)
