Tyiece if you say that gel was too light for 4C hair then I believe you. No point in spending your precious money on it just to be disappointed. Those curls looked nice before you blow dried them. Thanks for the video. 18.7.20
My hair looks tougher than hers...Camille rose has been the best. I think she has used a lot of product which I discovered doesn't produce great results

My hair is 4 c and still in the short zone, what I do to achieve the so call: “wash and go” was wash and leave in condition and Bantu knot the night before then in the morning I spritz with water each section one at a time and add styling cream section by section as I finger coil. I achieve a great results on short 4c hair. It lasts on my hair a minimum of 4 days. Would you please make a video using the above process. I appreciate your efforts and you are excellent at this.
I have yet to try a wash n go on my 4c hair lol. Been natural for a yr now. I'm not patient enough to do it myself😩 but I'll just let my stylist do it one of these days.🤷😂 Your hair is definitely growing lady love it!!!💯❤

I really love Camille Rose products!!! It's very light but I use wetline gel on top of the Camille Rose products...It really defined my 4c hair...and yes I can get at least 4 days..U should try it..Hope that helps...😍😍😍

Thanks for the video. This gel is way to light for my 4c hair. My hair needs a heavy thick gel in order for my curls to clump. I use the Extreme wetline gel or Curly curl cream

I have to use a ton of that gel for it to work for me but it did work. I use the honey leave in with it too. My favorite gel for my thick 4C hair is Aunt Jackie's Curl Boss and ironically it's the least expensive one I've bought (out side of wetline which I don't like because it makes my hair hard/crunchie -for my taste.) Camille Rose however is my favorite hair line for my short, thick NC country girl 4C hair.

I used it for the first time with the curl love moisturizer milk and it’s flake city! However, I also topped my hair off with the mousse def texture foam. I’m so frustrated because I literally need to re wash my hair now. 😭Btw, for reference I think I have 3C/4A hair.
I have 4C hair and the Dickey wash & go method works perfect. I get more curl definition without doing all the finger coiling or use of gel and when I stretch the roots it looks like I did a twist out.

@@user-yn4wy7iq7s Yes and the results were pretty much the same but with less work and crunch from the gel.
Please do some more videos with other products like Qhemet. Very few videos feature hair which looks like 4c hair which is my hair type.
I have hair like urs. I do not shingle. Have no time for that. I wash, ensure it's drench and pile on the gel and it's OK.
The Alikay Naturals Lemongrass Gel gives a bomb wash and go for 4C hair as well!
I have that gel and 4C hair and it doesn't work for me at all for a wash and go, it's a creme. I don't want someone to read your comment and go out and spend money on it for a wash and go.
Yeah I love that it as a holding gel for my edges when I do puffs and ponytails. I bet it will be good for wash n go since it gives a very hard hold.
Roni-Yah Ummmm it’s definitely not a creme. They also have a butter in that collection that you may be getting mixed up. Either way, people can come to their own conclusion. It’s just a suggestion.
I have a similar 4c texture. I just did a wash n go yesterday. So far my favorite combo is Texture Id coils twisting butter with eco style olive oil gel. Or shea moisture curl enhancing smoothie with wet line gel or eco styler. I prefer the rake and shake method as opposed to shingling for my fine strands. Shaking my hair at the end allows the clumps from raking to naturally separate and coil up.
Yea just leave in conditioner, two strand twists or braids in a little bun if I don't feel like dealing with shrinkage with a few curls in front on my forehead( because I'm used to my forehead curls shrinking and being all bouncy)that's it. No gel, no oil, it leaves flakes and oils for some reason leave my normally bouncy happy frizzy hair, all stiff and dry.

I would pick lift the hair, from the root
For us 4C gals, we can use a light gel, but it has to be paired with a thick gel like Eco Olive, Wetline or Alikay. If you try thicker gels after doing a bentonite clay mask for 2 hours after deep conditioning, you should see more definition and a longer hold.
When you use the bentonite clay mask, do you find it to be drying? Also, are you using Apple cider vinegar to activate it or something product?

I love camille Rose but it leaves flakes.
It's water based gel I find those gels do not create coils or defined curls.
Sis, you have beautiful hair but a wash n go on thick hair needs: drenched DETANGLED hair, smaller sections, ample product...not a dime size...and serious twirling action for a great wash n go. You barely touched your hair. Give it another shot. I'm sure you'll LOVE it.

Try it again but apply a medium amount of leave in within shower (moisture) then just section your hair and apply the gel. See if that works. I don't shingle because for some reason that ruins the curls I have so I slowly rake in the product from root to tip. I hope that works. Camille rose didn't work for me years ago but now it does and that is what I did. Now going on day 3 wash n go type 4 hair.

Y'all have the same hair type, but her wash and go was fantastic.
One issue might not be the gel, but your twirling method. You need to twirl a few more times, and put the product on one tiny section at a time.
Yep! You're right on the money. She barely twirled...and with most natural hair your technique is half the battle.
The "yikes" is texturist, rude, and unnecessary. Her hair looks good and there is nothing wrong with a soft hold wash and go (which StarPuppy will tell you herself). And you don't need to twirl every curl multiple times. A brush or raking will get you the same results.

Love this video, but would like to say every 4c hair is different, you can have REAL 4C hair and have tons of definition .also most people have more than one type of curl pattern in their hair .
The hair typing chart is bogus. Humans have many more hair types than the chart shows.
That would be just like trying to take every human skin tone and putting it into a chart. Not possible.
I feel that most of my hair strands don’t fit in anywhere on the chart. They’re coily. Looser than hers, but not as loose as some other RUclipsrs who claim to have 4a hair. Yet looser than 4b.
There’s too much genetic variation for there to be only 3 coily patterns.

I wish I’d seen YOUR video before I went out and bought this stuff!!! The videos I watched the young ladies obviously don’t know their hair isn’t 4nothin!!! My daughters hair looks like yours not theirs. Very disappointed...and this stuff is expensive!!
