My hair and my daughters hair never tangled when I use it, but as far as slip goes I’d say maybe a 3-4/10 if used by itself with no water. I wouldn’t recommend it as a conditioner to help detangle hair with, but more so a conditioner that adds shine and softness to the hair.
I bought this and slept on it for six months. I used it and was mind blown. My hair was and is super soft and shiny PLUS my hair stays elongated with this for some reason. I’m in love 🥰
That’s a good note to make sure the hair is fully saturated before applying the product since it doesn’t have water in it. Her looks really good after application.
Isn’t is soooo good? Makes the hair very soft too! It has a nice smell which I like. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave a comment.

Hello 👋🏾 Kendra! Very true, all products will perform differently depending on the hair. I know people who hate this product, but I like it a lot for me and my daughters hair. I have tried it dry and it did not work out for me at all. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Your daughter's hair is BEAUTIFUL! You take really good care of it. :) Thank you for showing the proper application of the product. I now have greater confidence to try it.
Thank you for clarifying for those who dont get humectants. I use this after freshly shampooed hair. I don’t bother with a rinse away Conditioner. I use pure honey as a hydrating mask but wanted to see what this product has to offer. I see a lot of olive oil and honey mixes that I’m going to try
Thank you for watching and commenting! I’ve heard a lot of people say that they simply don’t understand what this product is and how it can be considered a leave in. Some people even try to use it on dry hair and are irritated when it makes their hair s sticky mess. This product has a good mix of oils and also contains Aloe Leaf Juice.
I just used it for the first time, 4 days ago. Loved it! God, so soft. Even days later. My naturally curly and thick hair would've started tangling up a bit, but I was able to comb my hair, and not encounter not a single tangle, and I didn't use a lot of product. I only applied it to my roots and ends. My hair is very thick, but I feel like it takes products really well. Less is more. Apply a little, and brush it through. I don't know! Personal preference maybe. It worked! That's all that matters. 😄

I was thinking about using a wide tooth comb on my hair since i have been seeing a lot of breakage with brushes. I have always wanted to try this product, I will definitely have to use this when I am protective styling
Hi 👋🏾! Wide tooth combs have been my thing especially after I grew my hair back after breaking off 8 inches of it. Brushes just aren’t good for me as a primary detangler. I’ve been using this product for years and it’s been one of my go to’s for my daughters hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hi 👋🏾! You are not alone. I know many people who prefer to finger detangle. There’s nothing wrong with it. It’s all about preference and what’s best for your hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
😩 I’m so glad I found you! My daughter has hair this long and thick and we have a TIME because she hollers when I comb it. Watching you work through your daughter’s hair is encouraging 😊 Have you ever blow dried her hair? If so did you use this leave in?
Hello 👋🏾! Yes my daughters hair used to be a whole ordeal as well 😵💫. I do blow dry it sometimes, but I use the Revair to blow dry it because it takes maybe 30 minutes to blow dry her entire head with it. I always use a leave in when I blow dry it. I used a water based leave in. I like using the aunt Jackie’s leave in conditioner (the green bottle). Please let me know if you have anymore questions and I’m glad to answer. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
I’ve never thought of making it but I’m sure it’s more than possible too. Honey is used all over the world in hair as a conditioner I’ve found out. I actually saw a video of someone India using raw honey as a deep conditioner for shiny soft hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I’m so late so I really hope you’ll be able to answer this - I just bought this product. Can I blow dry and straighten my hair after using it? I’ve only been seeing people use it on wash and go styles and curly hair so I’m wondering if it can still be used to prep before straight styles? Thank you for the great tutorial! ☺️
Hello hello 👋🏾! You would be able to if you first use a lot of water in your hair and a small amount of this product. That’s the only way I can see it being used with straight styles. It helps to draw moisture to the hair because it is a humectant. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hey y'all, honey can be nearly 20 percent water. Honey is water sugar and proteins. So yes, apply to wet hair for be results. But your hair can absorb moisture from this honey based product.
Hello 👋🏾! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. They state on their site that the product should be used on clean wet hair which is what I was demonstrating in the video. I have tried this on dry hair and it was disastrous for myself and my daughters hair. This product works best when used in combination with water on clean hair as per their website instructions. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@CammyjOfficial thanks! I'm aware. I'm clarifying that that's not because it has no water. Idk if you've used the curl maker (great product), the 1st ingredient is water and you are still instructed to use on wet hair. Definitely don't use the honey leave in to style dry hair! But you can use it to touch up dry spots throughout the week. 😊
I really like this conditioner. It is weird because it is very much like honey 🍯, but when you add water it works so well. Thank you for the compliment about her hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Omg I have a sensitive nose too!!! Some product smells drive me crazy lol. This one isn’t bad for me though. What really gets me is how the Taraji hair products smell
Do you clip your daughters ends ? How often do you wash her hair ? My daughters hair is already so long that idk I don’t want it too get damaged in anyway ..
Hello 👋🏾! I do not clip her ends, she will be getting a professional trim this year. I was her hair once every 7-10 days. I do low manipulation styles on my daughters hair to keep it from getting damaged and use a very gentle hand when styling. Please let me know if you have any more questions and I’m happy to answer. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Can you use this product overnight as a hair strengthener? I'm getting mixed reviews on that some people say yes to using it overnight some people say no 🤔
Hello 👋🏾! I’m going to say no because the bottle instructions do not state such. I don’t want to say yes and then it end up having adverse effects on your hair. Just my opinion.
will this work on hair that is somewhat wavy. my hair is straighter on top and wavier where there is less weight. I get tangles while I sleep and Ive been wanting to get a leave in. wanted to try this because it’s sounds luxurious and looks like a real honey bottle
Hello 👋🏾! It’ll work on wavy hair. Just remember to use it with water to make it an effective leave in. How do you wear your hair at night? Do you wear a satin bonnet to sleep?
@@CammyjOfficial ohh ok thanks so much for the quick reply. I just put it in a bun but get tangles in bunches at the nape, I have a silk pillow case but I should try a silk bonnet too
You’re welcome. I suggest you wear your hair in 2 pony tails at night and not the bun. I believe the bun will exasperate the tangles. I feel the satin bonnet controls the hair better at night
@@CammyjOfficial thanks I will try that! I was wondering when you get this product is the seal usually loose from the product slip? because I got it from target today and the seal wasn’t sealed. I picked it because there seemed like there was a little more than others
@@CammyjOfficial Howdy! Currently, I have braids and I was told this particular product keeps my hair with moisture? Can this product be used with dry hair or does it need to be wet? (Or, am I looking at the wrong product as a whole?)
I wouldnt use this for braids where hair is added in. This is typically used on wet hair from my experience. If you’re just doing braids with your own hair and not adding additional hair in then you can use this as your leave in conditioner.
@@CammyjOfficial ahhh, yeah, this would be used for my braids (my natural hair). Could this be used for hair that is dry? Sorry if I asked that earlier.
I don’t like the way it feels on my hair 😢 . I think I’m going to add it too my home made deep conditioner which is regular conditioner of choice , olive oil and normally honey which I will replace . 😅

@@Deshaunlogan15 yes I do. I recommend the aunt Jackie’s aunt jackie's knot on my watch detangler. It is the bomb. They also have a nice leave in conditioner and it’s an affordable product line.

Hi 👋🏾! You do not wash it after applying. You add this to your hair after you have washed it and used a rinse out conditioner. You use this as a leave in conditioner.
@@CammyjOfficial for her, I use the Jamaican black castor oil styling lotion, it works well for detangling and the the hibiscus and coconut for shampoo and conditioner.
It would be much cheaper just to use the honey that you eat.....The results are even better with honey that you eat.....I have a feeling that Camille Rose Honey Hydrate Leave-In might actually be real honey that you eat being sold at higher prices.....
Hello 👋🏾! Yes you most definitely can. You can use a styler on top of this if you’d like or a gel. I have used this in combination with cream stylers in both my hair and my daughters. Thank you for watching and commenting!
The name of this product is misleading. It's called "hydrate" but doesn't contain water? Where is the hydration? If I have to add the hydration (water) to my hair for a product named "hydrate" then it's def misleading.
Hi 👋🏾! You being up an excellent point. It does say it contains aloe leaf juice which is a liquid and would contain water in it because it is a juice, but straight up water is not found in this product. It states in the directions to use after washing hair on damp hair. I guess they used some sort of technicality to be able to use the word “hydrate” for this product. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hello. From the looks of their updated ingredients list, this doesn’t appear to be “100 percent organic”, but still contains a lot of organic ingredients. Here are the ingredients: HONEY (MEL), OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, RICINUS COMMUNIS(CASTOR OIL), ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE, VACCINIUM MYRTILLUS (BILBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, SACCHARUM OFFICINARUM (SUGAR CANE) EXTRACT, ACER SACCHARUM (SUGAR MAPLE) EXTRACT, CITRUS AURANTIUM DULCIS (SWEET ORANGE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS LIMON (LEMON) FRUIT EXTRACT, PHENOXYETHANOL (OPTIPHEN), HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E), FRAGRANCE (PARFUM)

My hair and my daughters hair never tangled when I use it, but as far as slip goes I’d say maybe a 3-4/10 if used by itself with no water. I wouldn’t recommend it as a conditioner to help detangle hair with, but more so a conditioner that adds shine and softness to the hair.

I need to try to make this conditioner. I have never used honey before.
@@CammyjOfficial thank you so much!
You’re very welcome ☺️
Her hair is gorgeous !!!
Thank you!!!!! I’m glad she was able to sit still for this video 😂
Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Hey y'all, honey can be nearly 20 percent water. Honey is water sugar and proteins.
So yes, apply to wet hair for be results. But your hair can absorb moisture from this honey based product.
I reapply when my hair is dry, and it works great
Oh I’ve seen people use it on bone dry hair before and were mad at the results lol!!
I have heard of the Curl maker. I should actually go and pick that up to do a review on as well.
I have the honey hydrate conditioner, her hair is beautiful.
I really like this conditioner. It is weird because it is very much like honey 🍯, but when you add water it works so well. Thank you for the compliment about her hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
@@CammyjOfficial I like it too but I'm not crazy about the scent, sometimes I wish my nose wasn't so sensitive. 😅
Omg I have a sensitive nose too!!! Some product smells drive me crazy lol. This one isn’t bad for me though. What really gets me is how the Taraji hair products smell
My favorite and only leave in I use.❤
Hello 👋🏾! Yes, it’s a really good leave in. Thank you for watching!
Her hair looks great! & i love those spray bottles too , ik exactly wym about the water 😂
Thank you!!! The spray bottle is my favorite. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
I purchased it my hair is soft but it draws up all the moisture from the air
Can you use this product overnight as a hair strengthener? I'm getting mixed reviews on that some people say yes to using it overnight some people say no 🤔
Hello 👋🏾! I’m going to say no because the bottle instructions do not state such. I don’t want to say yes and then it end up having adverse effects on your hair. Just my opinion.
I love your channel😍 what is the intro music you use?
Hi 👋🏾! Thank you 😊! The music is a custom track I had a friend make for me. Glad you like it! Thank you for watching and commenting!
will this work on hair that is somewhat wavy. my hair is straighter on top and wavier where there is less weight.
@@CammyjOfficial well I think it’s fine, finished the strand tested and im in love with it 😍
I could use it with dry hair to
Hello, I have braids and was told to use this product to keep my hair soft. Could this work for braids?
Hello 👋🏾. Are you using it prior to installing your braids? Are you braids done with just your hair or hair added?
Oh yes then if it’s fit your natural hair you can use it as a leave in. The directions elude to this being used for and on wet hair.
I don’t like the way it feels on my hair 😢 . I think I’m going to add it too my home made deep conditioner which is regular conditioner of choice , olive oil and normally honey which I will replace . 😅
Hello 👋🏾! That’s okay. Many people don’t enjoy this product either. Everyone’s hair is different. I like your idea of adding it do deep conditioner. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Thank you for sharing
Hello 👋🏾! Thank you for watching!
I wonder if I can add water and spray it my locks daily.
Hello hello 👋🏾! I don’t know how this would work with locs daily.
Nice.
Thank you for watching and commenting!
After applying is it like conditinoer or if i apply i wash it after with seconds thank you
Hello Munria 👋🏾! You apply it like conditioner and do not rinse it out or wash it out. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Thank you so much it means i use like azin oil normal?
@@munirajacfar2076 you’re welcome. Yes you can use similar to that. You add to the hair once it is freshly washed and clean as a leave in conditioner to make the hair soft and shiny
I use to buy this but now I see I was doing it all WRONG smh … thank for for this
You're welcome! It's okay, a lot of people dont really know how this product is supposed to work because it is so thick and really does look like pure raw honey. Thank you for watching and commenting!
I’m wondering for those who pre poo would consider this conditioner since it doesn’t have any water in it.
That’s a good question! Honestly, I wouldn’t use this to pre poo unless I added a lot of water 💦 in my hair like I do to my daughters hair in this video. Thank you for watching and commenting!
So can u wash out the leave in conditioner.
Hello 👋🏾! I wouldn’t wash it out because you’re supposed to leave it in the hair. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you for watching and commenting!
What if I cut my hair 4 months ago and starting to grow my hair again, is it too short to use this product?
Hello 👋🏾! Your hair won’t be too short for this product. It is a leave in conditioner that helps to draw moisture to your hair. As long as you’re using water and the appropriate amount, you’ll be just fine.
@@CammyjOfficial ok thank you👍
@@Deshaunlogan15 you’re welcome ☺️
@@CammyjOfficial also, do you have anything product you would recommend for 4c hair, any curl type products/ products to help hair grow
@@Deshaunlogan15 yes I do. I recommend the aunt Jackie’s aunt jackie's knot on my watch detangler. It is the bomb. They also have a nice leave in conditioner and it’s an affordable product line.
Hi hun am you straighten after this process
Hello 👋🏾. Are you asking if I straighten her hair after this process?
I just apply this in the shower and do the rest of the styling when I get out
That’s what I do sometimes as well because in the shower your hair can get super wet which helps when applying this product. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Do i wash it after applying?
Hi 👋🏾! You do not wash it after applying. You add this to your hair after you have washed it and used a rinse out conditioner. You use this as a leave in conditioner.
Was the day after taken out of braids or is that her natural curl 😩😩😩
Hello 👋🏾. After I washed her hair then night before I put her hair in 4 chunky braids to keep it detangled. Thank you for watching and commenting!!
Her hair looks great. Haven’t used this leave in for my daughter. She’s pretty much a shea moisture kid...at least for the time being
I actually want to try out some more she’s moisture products for kids. Any recommendations that you like for your daughters hair?
@@CammyjOfficial for her, I use the Jamaican black castor oil styling lotion, it works well for detangling and the the hibiscus and coconut for shampoo and conditioner.
Thank you for telling me! I am going to gran some this weekend and try it out for her hair since it’s wash day for her tomorrow.
It would be much cheaper just to use the honey that you eat.....The results are even better with honey that you eat.....I have a feeling that Camille Rose Honey Hydrate Leave-In might actually be real honey that you eat being sold at higher prices.....
Can you use other products with this?
Hello 👋🏾! Yes you most definitely can. You can use a styler on top of this if you’d like or a gel. I have used this in combination with cream stylers in both my hair and my daughters. Thank you for watching and commenting!
2 THUMB'S UP 👍👍
Hello 👋🏾! Thank you for the thumbs up 👍🏾. I appreciate it! Thank you for watching and commenting!
Nice
Thank you for watching and commenting!
Can guys use this
Hello James! Yes they certainly can. I’ve used this in my husbands hair and his beard before.
Loveeeee
Thank you babe!!! Thank you for watching and commenting!! I appreciate youuuuu
What happened to step 2
Hello. I opted to just use this step as a humectant which I like for my daughters hair. Thank you for watching and commenting!
IS THIS 100 100 100 PROCENT ORGANIC ????? PLEASE AWNSER
Hello. From the looks of their updated ingredients list, this doesn’t appear to be “100 percent organic”, but still contains a lot of organic ingredients.
Here are the ingredients:
HONEY (MEL), OLEA EUROPAEA (OLIVE) FRUIT OIL, RICINUS COMMUNIS(CASTOR OIL), ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE, VACCINIUM MYRTILLUS (BILBERRY) FRUIT EXTRACT, SACCHARUM OFFICINARUM (SUGAR CANE) EXTRACT, ACER SACCHARUM (SUGAR MAPLE) EXTRACT, CITRUS AURANTIUM DULCIS (SWEET ORANGE) FRUIT EXTRACT, CITRUS LIMON (LEMON) FRUIT EXTRACT, PHENOXYETHANOL (OPTIPHEN), HELIANTHUS ANNUUS (SUNFLOWER) SEED OIL, TOCOPHEROL (VITAMIN E), FRAGRANCE (PARFUM)
@@CammyjOfficial Thank You So Much i use pure organic amla powder to ! Results are amazing! Ok i buy this Honey to . I love to use organic products it's better for us and nature. The honey it smells good? Is it a hair mask ?
@Christienangie you’re welcome! It is a leave in conditioner. It does have a pleasant smell. I am sensitive to hair products smells, and this one has never bothered me. It has a smell but is isn’t a strong smell that’s obnoxious.
I had this use it twice and threw it away. Too thick for me 😩
Oh nooo. You have to dilute with a lot of water. It’s a great leave in.
@@CammyjOfficial LOL that’s too much
😂😂😂
Accidentally applied after shampooing instead of conditioning. 😢
Hi 👋🏾 Jaymi! That’s alright. You can always wash it out, and condition like you’d normally do. No need to worry 😊. Thank you for watching and commenting!
What hair type does your daughter have?
I’m guessing 3C-4A
@CammyjOfficial omg thanks that really helped I do too❤
I would suggest you look for fortified shampoo for fast hair growth.
Hi. No need. My daughters hair grows plenty fast as it is without special shampoos.
I purchased it my hair is soft but it draws up all the moisture from the air
