    Great video as always and congrats on your new machine! Looks like we upgrade each thing at the same time you and me lol. Personally went for BDB but I was between that and the Mara X. Hope you enjoy it!

      @@HomeBaristaCorner Mara X is definitely a great machine. I was able to try a few e61 machines before making my decision and I loved that the Mara was so silent compared to for example Profitec pro 400.

    Nice upgrade over the barista pro, what made you pick the Mara?

    • @HomeBaristaCorner
      @HomeBaristaCorner  Год назад +2

      Small footprint, so quiet, can pull a shot and steam at the same time (not a dual boiler). For me, this is the best E61 heat exchanger machine right now. The version 2 of Mara X.

    Panalo yan, iniisip ko pa kung ito o Profitec 400, gusto ko kasi ng preinfusion

    • @HomeBaristaCorner
      @HomeBaristaCorner  Год назад

      Yes MaraX has auto pre-infusion but you can also install pressure profile/flow paddle control kit in any E61 machine. But MaraX filter baskets are all IMS already so no need to upgrade. Subscribe ka na lang kabayan, that's my next project. 🙂

    Have this perfect machine! As for watter filter use 35 liter, dont use 70 big ones, cause stress to pump, and watter flow!

    Hi. Good set up! What burrs do you have in your df64?

  • @suziesshorts
    @suziesshorts 7 месяцев назад

    I'm kind of surprised the Mara X has a small footprint. I expected it might've been too big for my kitchen. I might choose this over the Ascaso Steel Uno, especially after knowing there's an authorised local distributor in my area. And I really don't need a dual boiler. But I'm reading mixed opinions about the Mara X's factory OPV setting. Did you have to adjust yours significantly?

    • @HomeBaristaCorner
      @HomeBaristaCorner  7 месяцев назад

      The default is 10 bars but that doesn't mean it is 10 bars in the group head. Some tested it's 9 bars in the group head those who added pressure profile kit.

    Nice sub 2k choice. I am statically on Lelite. On the other hand perfomancly on BDB.

    • @HomeBaristaCorner
      @HomeBaristaCorner  Год назад +1

      I have a small kitchen and need a small footprint machine that can also pull a shot and steam at the same time. E61 heat exchanger machine is the answer. Lelit Mara X version 2 is the best on this category. This machine is so quiet. But for dual boiler type machine, I will pick the Bianca v3.

      @DaddyMakesCoffee Год назад +1

      Kamusta kabayan! My choice is specific to my needs. I need a small machine. Maybe yours is different. If you have enough kitchen space and budget, I will pick the Bianca v3. I suggest to try the machine if they have showroom. That's what I did with Mara X.

    Hi, I already bought a Lelit Marax, I am in love with it but I have a problem. I do a correct simple puck prep with a fine ground (I tried multiple settings with a eureka mignon oro sd) but I cant get the pressure of the machine high. It just extracts the coffee the whole time pretty fast and with 3 bars of pressure. I blind tested it and it gets just fine to 9 bars, which is what I am hoping for. Any suggestions?

    How have you found the temperature stability?

    • @HomeBaristaCorner
      @HomeBaristaCorner  10 месяцев назад +1

      MaraX v2 has dual pid probes which is not available in other HX machines. If you set to Brew Priority Mode, brewing temperature should be stable and a switch for light, medium and dark roast beans. Just properly warm up the machine for 24mins.
