Curious to hear your thoughts. I normally run the Dunlop Q4 or Pirelli SC TD (or new SC V3 SC3 TD). I tried a set of Metzeler TD Slicks and right away noticed my the TC on my '21 S1KRR had to intervene and cut power at a much higher level in order to keep the Metzeler from spinning up compared to the Dunlop/ Pirelli. The Metzeler in my experience is a step below the Dunlop / Pirelli Track days tires in terms of performance/grip. However, I was able to get more days out of the Metzeler Slick TD's though.

I'm still running my original set on the rear. It has been a crazy track season for me. I flip the rear a lot and the life has been incredible on the Metzelers. I read somewhere that made me think the Metzelers might be a little harder than the TD. I haven't had an issue with grip, but I suck at getting to WOT. I have no experience with Q4. I do plan on continuing to run Pirelli TD and Metzeler slick TD. For my pace either works just as well. I cannot tell a difference. Interesting I read a review where someone thought the Metzeler was a tick above the TD. I did find 28psi hot is ideal pressure for me

Any update? Ive been using the Metz TD cause they are 350 a set shipped but wondering if the SC3 is better or same.

If you’re happy with the Metzeler keep using it. I would change to the SC3 if they were cheaper or I needed DOT legal.
