I'm trying to get a super lowed price for a yoga 710-15, but can't find if it supports smart pen or smart stylus, another channel reviewer told is not, but i search this model on Lenovo support and the accesories section is offered the lenovo active pen, don't you know if it already works?
Why didn't you show the tilt function on the Yoga?? Can you confirm that tilt works with this pen and the Yoga?
What is The best pen for Surface Go?
Idk why but I have so many problems with this :( idk if its bc of my art Programm (krita) or bc of the pen... I dont know what to about it tho..
i wanted to get me a used surfacebook2 ... but after i saw the bad jitter on the surfacebook 2 i think i will go with a cheaper thnkpad yoga...
How do u get it to work on the devices
does this work with a lenovo yoga 6 (2021)
I’m wondering if you can tell me whether this pen’s “Bluetooth button” on the top functions as an eraser the way the Surface Pro pen does? I will use it for note taking mostly, and I much prefer flipping the pen for the eraser over holding a side button.
Hi, no I dont think so. Only the side buttons.
hi! would you know if the pen is compatible with the lenovo yoga 730, as online there is some confusion?
If it’s confusing online, I would tweet or email Wacom support. You might be able to find it in the Lenovo support forums or the Wacom Reddit. I’d hate to tell you yes and then it doesn’t work.
I just bought a lenovo yoga c640 and wanted to ask if it is cmpatible withe the bamboo ink plus even though it is not on the compatibility-list
thanks
What kind of digitizer is in there? You can ping Wacom on Twitter or call support but I think it would work with AES 2.0.
Thank you for the video.
Tell me please, I have Lenovo Yoga 3 pro 1370, will the Wacom Bamboo Ink be compatible with my laptop?
If not, do you know which stylus is compatible?
I am not familiar with that model but I found this straight from the lenovo forums for you. forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-Yoga-Series-Notebooks/Any-digital-pen-compatible-with-Yoga-Pro-1370/m-p/4273202
@@CreateNowSleepLater, thanks a lot for you research!!)
How does this compare to the Lenovo Active Pen 2? Thanks.
Spec wise yes but users have had some bluetooth issues with it; I haven't used that pen but the bluetooth was flawless on the bamboo. I also specs don't mean the drawing experience is the same...
I'm using this pen on my Lenovo touch screen, it works pretty well except that the line I draw looks really thin and light without pushing much force on the screen. Can this problem be fixed
That is probably more to do with the digitizer than the pen. Did you try adjust the pressure curve?
@@CreateNowSleepLater is it possible to change pressure sensitivity in Paint Tool SAI?
Do you have to press the button to draw on screen or does it automatically draw once it comes contact on the screen?
Press the button each time you want to draw? No.
Hi would you recommend the Lenovo yoga 6 for heavy note taking applications or is the handwriting experience not great?
I think so. It’s not as rigid as opposed to line quality of an illustration.
@@CreateNowSleepLater hi there, does the wacom bamboo ink plus work on lenovo yoga 6? i was wondering if i should buy this stylus
Question. I just bought a Yoga c940 and the stock pen just infuriates me. It has problems selecting paths within AI,(having to tap on something 3-4 times) and even just free selecting only works perhaps 40% of the time, like it doesn't register the pen even though the cursor is clearly showing up. Would a better pen like this one help with my issues? Did you also have any similar issues with the stock pen? The stock one seems to have some pressure sens. but just the experience of using it to actually create made me go back to the track pad.
You said you just bought it? Are you within your return period? I'm never in favor of buying something to fix something that should be working. It COULD help if the pen is losing its charge and why its acting up. It also can be a driver or firmware problem. That leads to messing around pulling everything out or even a restore but I've had to do that. I moved to an iPad for mobile art. I just didn't like how picky it way. My pen would stop working if I went into Yoga mode, I'd have to reboot each time.
@@CreateNowSleepLater So a bit of a pickle, I got it open box from best buy and saved almost $500 off new price for the 4k. It was spotless when I inspected it. I can return it, but then they don't have any more open box so it would cost me that extra 500 bucks to get a "new new" one.
I've also already got a support ticket open with Lenovo for a protruding bottom cover(sticks out 1mm or so along a 2'' section of the bottom), and just last night I found a couple unlit/dead/dark pixels near the middle of my screen.
So my options are return my "steal" of a deal and look elsewhere to spend my $$$, or package up the laptop and pray lenovo can fix 3 issues on my new machine, whilst still saving over $500 off list price.(still in the 1yr warrenty)
I guess it depends on your primary use. If it’s art then it won’t help you. If they will tear it open for free anyway I guess you take the shot but you are gambling on not being able to use it for art.
@@CreateNowSleepLater Are there any other 13-14'' laptops you would recommend for drawing? I'm in graphic design so I figured this c940 with wacom aes would be the best overall experience. Just didn't know if the aftermarket pen made any difference in your opinion(with the yoga) as far as the general usability goes.
I would check out either brad colbow but in that size have you considered an iPad Pro?
Hey, is it compulsory to wear what you have on your palm. Does this stylus reject palm in lenevo 530?
You mean the glove? Yep, I always wear it. It wouldn’t be the stylus for palm rejection, it would be the digitizer only that laptop. You probably need to check with Lenovo unless you have it already. This pen won’t make a difference.
@@CreateNowSleepLater oh okay thanks!
What yoga is this?
Do you think this will work on the lenovo yoga 3 pro 1370? Thanks
I’m really not sure, see if Wacom has a compatibility list out there. If that doesn’twork, see what kind of digitizer is in there. If it’s AES 2.0 it should work. Last, you can always call Wacom support to be sure.
is this compatible with lenovo yoga c930, cause it is not in the compatibility list but previous models are??
I think it should be, check what version of AES the 2-in-one is running. If you want to be totally safe, shoot a tweet at Wacom support.
and, did u check?
Do you know if it works for lenovo yoga 7i?
I don’t, the easiest way to figure it out is find which digitizer is in that yoga. I thought it was still AES 2. If so, it should work.
Did you test the tilt?
Yep, I don’t remember calling it out though. It worked similar to an emr experience but not like an iPad if that makes sense.
I can't for the life of me get the bamboo ink plus to work with my Lenovo Yoga 6, is there any way to make this work or did I buy an incompatible pair of devices?
I assume it pairs ok? I can't directly answer the question because they have made so many devices since I did the review. I would check the AES version or even check in with Wacom to be sure.
Were you able to get it working?... I was about to buy this pen for my Yoga 6 but now I am not so sure...
@@Cute_Maxi sadly nope, I ended up getting rid of the laptop as it’s completely not compatible with the pen
@@CreateNowSleepLater yeah sadly I found out soon after that my particular build was completely incompatible with the pen, I ended up taking it back and keeping the pen to pair with a device that is compatible. And while I haven’t found a fitting replacement yet, I definitely learned my lesson to never trust what a sales clerk says and do some research before buying anything.
What's MPP 2.0? I thought 1.51 was the latest?
Nope, Windows Ink: Microsoft Pen Protocol 2.0. I think it came out last year actually.
I think 2.0 has tilt
I think it might be higher pressure levels as well.
unfortunately no slow diagonal jitter test
It’s AES, I’m sure there is jitter. I can check it though.
