12:14 Bec doesn't actually kill that rebel brute, just knocks them unconscious. Honestly for Uprising I think it's worth it being a sourcemod rather than under a bonus maps menu like EZ2 if only for the main menu backgrounds. Uprising uses the main menu for landing home endings/story beats far more than any other Half-Life I played (yes that's including official games and EZ2). I've just finished this mod and get all the endings and I must say it's darn well good, the story so well done at most parts the reveal and the choices all make it amazing, also that part at 6:17 lmao found it by total accident

It would be cool that if you picked the Rebel ending; for Episode 2 you play as Bec instead of Victor, fighting out of the city and into the Outlands of White Forest.
I played the mod through and had a lot of fun playing it. Already had a lot of anticipation for a second episode, cause I thoroughly enjoyed the combat and story of it.
0:49 Note: The Half-Life wiki is generally considered a more unreliable source of information compared to something like the Combine Overwiki, since the former is on Fandom. That's not to say that your information was at all false, just keep in mind that the Overwiki is probably a better source of info in the future.
tip of how to get rebel ending: 1.dont drink the water they put something in it to make you forget (it will make you forget about your wife and you will not have access to the ending) 2.dont press e when bloody cop is drinking the can at the near end of game (if do so you will also cant have access to the ending cuz you have to kill him) 3.just DONT drink any water if your civil protection friends offer you one 4.accept the rebel civil protection leaders offer and follow her 5.wait for Entropy Zero uprising episode 2 to come out (why? because they announced it IN game in the combine ending *wich is the time where you drinked the water*)
I think the best solution for use of Vortigaunts in Combine-Player Maps is to use them sparingly. If the creator isnt a coding master, just only spawn in at max 3 in any given encounter. They are super hardy and deadly, so they can be seen as mini-boss units like the Hunters are for the Combine.
I rated Entrophy Zero: Uprising somewhere at 9.5/10 giving how good this game is, but here I can write a little more. Overall I beat Entrophy zero 1 & 2 too, so my rating will also include referencing it The taciturn main character - Honestly... well, I noticed that our character doesn't speak much, but... I honestly don't understand why people criticize her so much for that, I can say that it was even a little nicer for me to play when I didn't hear my character say something and I had to stop to read it. Beginning - Honestly, even if it was quite boring... if I called it Intro, but it didn't bother me that much because basically I like to have such Intra to recognize, for example, what time of the game we are in, where here I still didn't see that it was is when the Rebels led by Freeman started a revolution xD Combat - I agree, Combat is comparable to that of Entrophy zero 1. Maps: City: Generally, the city is nicely done and I haven't noticed any defects or oversights, but there are quite a lot of details, which I always love in such mods. Road Tunnels: Very well done here too, I especially love the sequence where we go to the Rebel hideout to turn on the sprinkler, I love when the water actually rises a bit and the look of the alarm itself, which I just now noticed is not the same model o.o Underground Train Tunnel: Honestly it was really scary to go through this level because you never really knew when you could get out which honestly... also a plus for me. Rebels escaping through the Tunnel: I honestly love inserts where something moves without being arranged into it by the player, because it just shows to me that someone actually put an effort into this mod. Hidden Metrocop base: Honestly, the design here is already average, but it is known to reflect that the city is getting worse and worse. Assault on the Rebel Base: Honestly a really well orchestrated fight, I love that the Metrocops actually hide by the walls before the attack happens. Flashback: I honestly still don't know who this girl is, but she predicts that this is the person who hated the main character for choosing combine over the rebels. Wake up and Cutscene with a can: Honestly, this is actually one of the few mods where we can go to sleep in HL2, besides the Cutscene itself is really well done and a little scary, because I felt uneasy when I saw this ghost on the sofa o.o Battle Against the Rebels: Honestly, the maps here are just well done, but not as detailed. The combat itself is as good as Combat itself, besides the cutscenes are nice but... well, I don't know, they are a bit disturbing because they make you wait. Battle for Date (XD): Overall the fight is cool but quite boring if you finally recognize where when the Rebels come out it's easy to kill them even before they go through the holes in the buildings. Also, a bit average is that the Metrocop Leader does not have any difference in its appearance. Crossing the City: Honestly, the Level Design is already better here, there is a lot more detail than in the beginning. The combat itself is cool, but a bit repetitive. Vortigaunt Fight: Honestly...yeah, they need better AI because just walking to a certain place or walking around in circles around the player was just trivial, although I don't agree that they were too hard, I mean... okay, the damage was too much obviously , this lack of missing is also a bit of a problem but honestly... I didn't have much of a problem defeating them even as more and more of them started to appear. Easter Egg: Unexpected, weird and funny xD Building: Honestly interesting idea with giving the player a choice to kill the rebels, I admit that I killed them because I'm used to the Rebels in such uniforms just having weapons so... well xD Also, the easter egg with the guy in the toilet was actually funny. Hill Fight: Honestly nothing special, I won't even mention the level design because it's just good here and there are some details, I like the scene where we beat the guy with the rifle where we drop the Combine wall on him. Nexus: Honestly, the trap itself wasn't difficult and I, learned from the HL2 trap, easily made it through, the cutscene at the top was really nice, especially after leaving where you could see that the Rebels were literally stepping on our feet. Crossing the City (part 2): Level design still good, quite a lot of details, boosting by teammates was even cool, although it was a bit buggy. The problem I noticed here is... how we had to find 3 batteries to activate the automatic door and we ran fast before the Combine The wall moved, the game is completely buggy and teammates don't come to boost us, they just keep hiding xD Middle Fight (Very interesting names I'm making up xD): Honestly, it was a bit of a repeat of the fun from HL2, but on the other hand it was even cool, especially with Strider who smashed some parts, Level itself had Great design and details, especially those destructible barriers I didn't notice in game. (1/2)
The beginning of the Industrial area passage: A flight sequence similar to that of Entrophy zero 2, nothing interesting. Drinking a can already told me we were going to have those scary memories again, and I wasn't wrong. As for the Combine Crusher... well, I like the design of it, in the sense that it's just a painted name on a regular APC, but it's a bit more than just drawing the Lambda logo :> Undeground Horror: honestly used to from other mods and Episode 1 I wasn't afraid of this sequence, although it was a bit annoying because of those fast zombies. As for the Level Design... well, it's average, but it's not surprising since it's mainly focused on surviving hordes of zombies, rather than focusing on the appearance of the map, so... I understand the creators' choice a bit. Reunion with Bec: kinda cool that the developers gave him a little detail to recognize him: one of the eyes in the mask is smashed. Also, the healing sequence was pretty cool, because you don't see many of those. Crossing the Station and the Tracks: Honestly, the Level design here was good, even though there was almost no detail. the fights themselves were so... meh. Warehouse fight: This was probably the only place I got pissed off because the zombie horde plus the Rebels really don't go together and I barely remember surviving. The early fight against the Combine Crusher: honestly it was even cool because I thought that was the right part of fighting this opponent. Track Station: Honestly... probably one of the best sequences in the game, not only that the new enemy was really hard, even more difficult than the usual Zombine, Also a working train and... I don't know what it's professionally called... an elevator Track for trains xD Train: Sequence pretty cool, seeing us smash everything with the train, yet defending ourselves from the front. Dropship arrival: Honestly at that moment I thought: What idiots must be those who control them that they flew straight into Combine Crusher's crosshairs xD Combine Crusher fight: Honestly... one of the 2 best fight sequences, the first one I couldn't figure out what to do at all, then... well, actually throwing APCs in the air with barrels was pretty hard. Fake Water Hazard: Here... the level design isn't there at all but what do you expect from such a stage, actually taking the idea from L4D where touching the car calls the horde was pretty cool, but defending in the sewer was pretty... easy. Warehouse Spieg: Sequence is cool but it pissed me off a bit because you really don't know when to leave and so on so you don't get noticed. Tower: I honestly hate this sequence, not because it's well done or because it's unexpected when that tower starts to collapse, but because of how the way up and down is constructed, especially that damn ladder that moves that I died on a couple of times xD Train Escape Sequence: This is probably the best sequence in the game though, it was catching Bec in a container which I didn't know what to do, escaping the train he was taken on, and then having a nice chase after the train with the APC. APC vs Combine Crusher fight: Honestly quite easy, although after it for almost half an hour I didn't know if I should keep going or should I look for Bec in one of the stationary trains, I literally even had to turn on noclip and then nothing until I started going on I found out I had to do it xD Destruction Sequence: I really like this sequence, in the sense that it's a pity they just showed us both trains going towards each other and just a black screen, but I like that we had no way to escape it. City of Darkness: I honestly really appreciate the design and details in this sequence, because you could really get into the vibe, and the Metrocop Team resting place itself was also nicely done. As for Glitch... that's how I found out about him at the beginning and in Cutscenes I loved doing it to occupy my time xD Memories Apartment: Honestly, it was quite a strange sequence because I literally felt a little uneasy when I knew what this place was o.o Minefield: honestly, the AI failed here, because when the player walked the road without mines normally, Team Metrocop following us just hit these mines with impetus xD Finale: Meeting Bec who was trying to work with the Rebels was quite puzzling if he was actually on our side. After that, the mall fight was the best in the game, especially the ending where the Metrocop Rebels entered the fight, it was really fun to fight them even though it was quite difficult. The final sequence: honestly it was the most unexpected thing I've experienced so far, I was especially a bit scared when the screen said behind you and when I turned around I got shot right away. Also, the Metrocop who said "1 of 3" is probably the girl we see in the nightmare memories. Post-scene: genuinely interesting teaser, I wonder if it will be something similar to Entrophy zero 2 where we swapped bodies. Alternate ending: I honestly didn't get it because I didn't know it was, although it seems to be the worst Combat moment and the hardest, but also probably the best because it shows that any Metrocop can oppose the Combine and side with the Rebels, besides this Metrocop with orange eyes in the mask is probably the same girl who killed us in the real Ending. The finale is the same only that we fight on the opponent's side, and the final sequence itself... honestly unexpected, and Post-Credits shows that... I guess it was an actual "Good Ending" than the previous one. Honestly, now that I look at this mod, I would give it a total of 10/10 despite a few bugs and things that I liked on average. I'm waiting for Episode 2 and I hope that there we will also be able to continue both ways, the Good one and the "Combine" xD In general, this is the longest comment I think I've ever written in my life, I wrote it... well, almost 2 hours watching the movie one by one to remember everything xD (2/2)
I'm just blown away that this one ended up landing alongside Entropy Zero 2 for being the most thematically important game in the Half-Life franchise by complementing the themes of individuality and memory by showing how the rank and file is controlled by the Combine compared to how Bad Cop was controlled as a special weapon. Entropy Zero Uprising elevates what you can tell in a Half-Life story to whole new levels with its usage of choice with memory and I can't believe they're already set on making sequels to the point of labeling this game with a complete story that's better and more polished than any of the Half-Life 2s as just "episode 1" and "early access." I'm flabbergasted by these modders' standards and execution.
Slight correction. (maybe) After Bloody drink the can, he was confused as why you were looking at him like you want to... well... This imply that since he has also drink Breen water, he doesn't even remember killing our significant others, but we do.
I know that people may end up finding the "traitor strider" near the ending rather strange or ridiculous But I really love the ideia of some of the synths somehow remembering a bit of their identity or history and rebeling against the combine
I love the EZ:U and i cant wait for episode 2 but my concern is about the resistance ending couse i felt a huge distaste after the post credits scene couse it had potential like imagine if episode 2 had two campaign inside of it one from combine and one from resistance ending but I guess this will not happen.. still I recomend the game to anyone that like having thhe ass desintigrated on easy and being one shooted on normal
Ah, when I saw the can the first thing I thought was "Don't drink the water, they put something in it... that makes you forget... I don't even know how I got here" then I thought to myself, Imma listen to that guy and not drink the water. Guess I'm not most people lol
7:32 there is also a creepy guy in the building almost like gman where if u try to open a locked door the distorted trumpets start playing and a guy smiling comes infront of the door and then he dissapears when you unlock the door
It‘s so easy my dude, there’s something you’re doing wrong. Make sure you have entropy zero installed and that the uprising games unzipped folder is placed in steam/steamapps/sourcemods. Make sure the uprising folder is not multiple folders deep. It should be something like steam/steamapps/sourcemods/uprising/ and then there should be folders like materials, models, sounds and stuff in there. If any of these points isn’t the case it won‘t work. Also make sure to restart steam when you’ve placed the folder there, otherwise it won’t show up
15:47 Actually, I dont know if you knew this or not, but the Combine use Advisors as Valuable Mind Preservation Hard-Drives, essentially. I think its entirely possible that the player wasnt rescued, but rather died to the defecting MetroCops, with the players Consciousness resuming in another Host Body, a Juvinile Advisor Grub. The only problem with this system the Combine has is the backups have no memory past when they were created. So, if i am right, this new player character had no idea how their predecessor died.
I know the canon ending is, well, canon. But I would love to see the timeline continue with the rebel timeline, but without your character dead. I feel like, as well made as a lot of mods are, they seem to lean heavily on sad endings. Like for some reason nothing can ever end triumphantly or with some hope. I feel like Uprising Episode 2, from the traitor timeline without your character being dead could be a really compelling and unique story. Arguably even more unique than just continuing with the evil canon choice. But hey, that's just me.
That would be pretty interesting, I also prefer the non-canon ending. I do see of course how that one doesn’t have a realistic way to continue and I am also interesting in the current ending continuing. Generally, I am excited a Half-Life mod is getting a continuation at all :D
By the way, for the vortigaunt part, I found a great place behind a car where if you move close to the car the green energy will hit the car instead of you, then you can pop out and shoot them Also in the Hard Work chapter I was too lazy to grab a medkit, then I spent the rest of the chapter in absolute hell fighting fast zombies on 1 hp LOL
I'd like to point out that if you bring Wilson the obsolete turret with you, he and bad cop will discuss why bad cop hates everyone. Bad cop claims he doesn't and Wilson asks him to list people he likes. Bad cop says his wife, Wilson says that doesn't count. After a while the conversation is brought up again saying he's able to think of one person who bad cop may like (eluding to Bad Cop's daughter) and Bad cop brings up a metro cop 28, who I'm pretty sure is 2810/Bec.
Theres this glitch you can use the stunstick and get the rpg 7 eariler if you aim right for the metrocop (This glitch can softlock you but can not happen if you wait for bloody cop to come out of the room)
That ragdoll glitch can happen With super gravity gun... If you attack a ally in the normal game in the begining and hit the vort (short name for ailen slave) then a ragdoll will be grabbed instead. It is funny to spam it on the vort but it gets laggy... depending on the game and pc bc the game can break or your pc could just shet it self.
Surprised that you didn't show the creepy citizen that stares at you while grinning in the building where you're introduced to Bec, or the ghosts you can find in certain spots.
Literally my ONLY criticism with Uprising is that the zombie metrocops talk, since they are just as human as the normal zombies so they should just be screaming and stuff You can always just replace the talking voiceless with other ones in files though
@@1luciathere is also a bit of inconsistency in the voice filters for the metrocops, but I do think that one of the filters used is basically 100% accurate to the original hl2 CP voice, which I like
This is a mod that really improves as it goes, barring maybe the final section feels a bit bland IMO. I think combat really suffers from far too much mid-to-long range fighting where it's hard to even see who you're firing at though. Entropy 2 is a vastly better mod IMO, but I think this at least improves upon the first.
i really did like entropy zero 2, however i never understood the warning at the beginning. we don't really do anything "bad guy" in the game to warrant it i feel
@@1lucia Thanks for that. But still, I need someone to make a video about how to install Entropy Zero: Uprising (A right & correct one unlike the one I saw)
So this is how the game works if I didn't fluff the install somehow 😅 I had no subtitles, despite them on, in some parts, yet only subtitles in others. The entropy zero 2 guns, even the 357, had no sound. And alot of missing textures & other sounds.
Listen you can make fun of us for using imperial all you want but we only use it because pirates stole Thomas Jefferson’s set of metric standard measurements. This is my favourite historical fact that makes you sound unhinged when expressing it, but yeah we were supposed to be the second country to use metric but settled on keeping to imperial because of the loss of those. To be fair we are better than the countries that use a mix of imperial and metric. Like Canada and the uk.

I’m really suprised a lot of people don’t like bad cops dialogue. For me that was a big strength with how campy it was.
And then people complain that the RE4 Remake didn't feel as campy as the original, it's just that people love to complain about everything
i hate it
I guess less mature ppl will enjoy the dialogue more
Its more about the excess of pop culture/meme references than the dialogue itself

"Smiling man" In the nexus building, if you do not rush in opening the door and just go back without turning the valve and look at the other side youll see a smiling man just standing there
Throwing a valve in the abbys, at the stage where you have alot of zombies and an elevator with the valve in it here are 2 easter eggs, if you just throw it down and when you throw it down and go in the elevator
Hope this will encourage exploration in this game, sure hope i myself will find some now stuff!

haha it was a bit cringe at times, but that was part of bad cop's charm! i loved it. bad cop is one of my top favorite main playable characters of all time tbh
Genuinely cringe, shame the bug that removes all the dialogue in ex2 doesn't just do it for bad cop
@@timmythepinky9137Okay.
@@timmythepinky9137 agreed
these newgens man.. like quit complaining and just play the game. smh smh.
I've just finished this mod and get all the endings and I must say it's darn well good, the story so well done at most parts the reveal and the choices all make it amazing, also that part at 6:17 lmao found it by total accident
Where is it?
@@Executioner_Sama before the vortigaunt fight go to the right side of the building and there's a vent go in there and behind a the bit open door shine you NV and you found it
I love the idea of civil protection teams revolting that's a really good idea that not a lot of people use
that would have been so cool to see in ep1
It would be cool that if you picked the Rebel ending; for Episode 2 you play as Bec instead of Victor, fighting out of the city and into the Outlands of White Forest.
I played the mod through and had a lot of fun playing it. Already had a lot of anticipation for a second episode, cause I thoroughly enjoyed the combat and story of it.
0:49 Note: The Half-Life wiki is generally considered a more unreliable source of information compared to something like the Combine Overwiki, since the former is on Fandom. That's not to say that your information was at all false, just keep in mind that the Overwiki is probably a better source of info in the future.
tip of how to get rebel ending:
1.dont drink the water they put something in it to make you forget (it will make you forget about your wife and you will not have access to the ending)
2.dont press e when bloody cop is drinking the can at the near end of game (if do so you will also cant have access to the ending cuz you have to kill him)
3.just DONT drink any water if your civil protection friends offer you one
4.accept the rebel civil protection leaders offer and follow her
5.wait for Entropy Zero uprising episode 2 to come out (why? because they announced it IN game in the combine ending *wich is the time where you drinked the water*)
Overall I beat Entrophy zero 1 & 2 too, so my rating will also include referencing it
The taciturn main character - Honestly... well, I noticed that our character doesn't speak much, but...
I honestly don't understand why people criticize her so much for that, I can say that it was even a little nicer for me to play when
I didn't hear my character say something and I had to stop to read it.
Beginning - Honestly, even if it was quite boring... if I called it Intro, but it didn't bother me that much because basically
I like to have such Intra to recognize, for example, what time of the game we are in,
where here I still didn't see that it was is when the Rebels led by Freeman started a revolution xD
Combat - I agree, Combat is comparable to that of Entrophy zero 1.
Maps:
City: Generally, the city is nicely done and I haven't noticed any defects or oversights, but there are quite a lot of details,
which I always love in such mods.
Road Tunnels: Very well done here too, I especially love the sequence where we go to the Rebel hideout to turn on the sprinkler,
I love when the water actually rises a bit and the look of the alarm itself, which I just now noticed is not the same model o.o
Underground Train Tunnel: Honestly it was really scary to go through this level because you never really knew when you could
get out which honestly... also a plus for me.
Rebels escaping through the Tunnel: I honestly love inserts where something moves without being arranged into it by the player,
because it just shows to me that someone actually put an effort into this mod.
Hidden Metrocop base: Honestly, the design here is already average, but it is known to reflect that the city is getting worse and worse.
Assault on the Rebel Base: Honestly a really well orchestrated fight,
I love that the Metrocops actually hide by the walls before the attack happens.
Flashback: I honestly still don't know who this girl is,
but she predicts that this is the person who hated the main character for choosing combine over the rebels.
Wake up and Cutscene with a can: Honestly, this is actually one of the few mods where we can go to sleep in HL2,
besides the Cutscene itself is really well done and a little scary, because I felt uneasy when I saw this ghost on the sofa o.o
Battle Against the Rebels: Honestly, the maps here are just well done, but not as detailed.
The combat itself is as good as Combat itself, besides the cutscenes are nice but... well,
I don't know, they are a bit disturbing because they make you wait.
Battle for Date (XD): Overall the fight is cool but quite boring if you finally recognize where when the
Rebels come out it's easy to kill them even before they go through the holes in the buildings.
Also, a bit average is that the Metrocop Leader does not have any difference in its appearance.
Crossing the City: Honestly, the Level Design is already better here, there is a lot more detail than in the beginning.
The combat itself is cool, but a bit repetitive.
Vortigaunt Fight: Honestly...yeah, they need better AI because just walking to a certain place or walking around in
circles around the player was just trivial, although I don't agree that they were too hard, I mean...
okay, the damage was too much obviously , this lack of missing is also a bit of a problem but honestly...
I didn't have much of a problem defeating them even as more and more of them started to appear.
Easter Egg: Unexpected, weird and funny xD
Building: Honestly interesting idea with giving the player a choice to kill the rebels, I admit that
I killed them because I'm used to the Rebels in such uniforms just having weapons so... well xD Also,
the easter egg with the guy in the toilet was actually funny.
Hill Fight: Honestly nothing special, I won't even mention the level design because it's just good here and there are some details,
I like the scene where we beat the guy with the rifle where we drop the Combine wall on him.
Nexus: Honestly, the trap itself wasn't difficult and I, learned from the HL2 trap, easily made it through,
the cutscene at the top was really nice, especially after leaving where you could see that the Rebels were literally stepping on our feet.
Crossing the City (part 2): Level design still good, quite a lot of details, boosting by teammates was even cool, although it was a bit buggy.
The problem I noticed here is... how we had to find 3 batteries to activate the automatic door and we ran fast before the Combine The wall moved,
the game is completely buggy and teammates don't come to boost us, they just keep hiding xD
Middle Fight (Very interesting names I'm making up xD): Honestly, it was a bit of a repeat of the fun from HL2,
but on the other hand it was even cool, especially with Strider who smashed some parts, Level itself had Great design and details,
especially those destructible barriers I didn't notice in game. (1/2)
The beginning of the Industrial area passage: A flight sequence similar to that of Entrophy zero 2, nothing interesting.
Drinking a can already told me we were going to have those scary memories again, and I wasn't wrong.
As for the Combine Crusher... well, I like the design of it, in the sense that it's just a painted name on a regular APC,
but it's a bit more than just drawing the Lambda logo :>
Undeground Horror: honestly used to from other mods and Episode 1 I wasn't afraid of this sequence,
although it was a bit annoying because of those fast zombies. As for the Level Design... well, it's average,
but it's not surprising since it's mainly focused on surviving hordes of zombies, rather than focusing on the appearance of the map,
so... I understand the creators' choice a bit.
Reunion with Bec: kinda cool that the developers gave him a little detail to recognize him: one of the eyes in the mask is smashed.
Also, the healing sequence was pretty cool, because you don't see many of those.
Crossing the Station and the Tracks: Honestly, the Level design here was good, even though there was almost no detail.
the fights themselves were so... meh.
Warehouse fight: This was probably the only place I got pissed off because the zombie horde plus the Rebels really don't go together and
I barely remember surviving.
The early fight against the Combine Crusher: honestly it was even cool because I thought that was the right part of fighting this opponent.
Track Station: Honestly... probably one of the best sequences in the game, not only that the new enemy was really hard,
even more difficult than the usual Zombine, Also a working train and...
I don't know what it's professionally called... an elevator Track for trains xD
Train: Sequence pretty cool, seeing us smash everything with the train, yet defending ourselves from the front.
Dropship arrival: Honestly at that moment I thought: What idiots must be those who control them that they
flew straight into Combine Crusher's crosshairs xD
Combine Crusher fight: Honestly... one of the 2 best fight sequences, the first one I couldn't figure out what to do at all,
then... well, actually throwing APCs in the air with barrels was pretty hard.
Fake Water Hazard: Here... the level design isn't there at all but what do you expect from such a stage,
actually taking the idea from L4D where touching the car calls the horde was pretty cool, but defending in the sewer was pretty... easy.
Warehouse Spieg: Sequence is cool but it pissed me off a bit because you really don't know when to leave and so on so you don't get noticed.
Tower: I honestly hate this sequence, not because it's well done or because it's unexpected when that tower starts to collapse,
but because of how the way up and down is constructed, especially that damn ladder that moves that I died on a couple of times xD
Train Escape Sequence: This is probably the best sequence in the game though, it was catching Bec in a container which I didn't know what to do,
escaping the train he was taken on, and then having a nice chase after the train with the APC.
APC vs Combine Crusher fight: Honestly quite easy, although after it for almost half an hour I didn't know if
I should keep going or should I look for Bec in one of the stationary trains, I literally even had to turn on noclip
and then nothing until I started going on I found out I had to do it xD
Destruction Sequence: I really like this sequence, in the sense that it's a pity they just showed us both trains
going towards each other and just a black screen, but I like that we had no way to escape it.
City of Darkness: I honestly really appreciate the design and details in this sequence, because you could really get into the vibe,
and the Metrocop Team resting place itself was also nicely done. As for Glitch... that's how I found out about him at
the beginning and in Cutscenes I loved doing it to occupy my time xD
Memories Apartment: Honestly, it was quite a strange sequence because
I literally felt a little uneasy when I knew what this place was o.o
Minefield: honestly, the AI failed here, because when the player walked the road without mines normally,
Team Metrocop following us just hit these mines with impetus xD
Finale: Meeting Bec who was trying to work with the Rebels was quite puzzling if he was actually on our side.
After that, the mall fight was the best in the game, especially the ending where the Metrocop Rebels entered the fight,
it was really fun to fight them even though it was quite difficult.
The final sequence: honestly it was the most unexpected thing I've experienced so far,
I was especially a bit scared when the screen said behind you and when I turned around I got shot right away.
Also, the Metrocop who said "1 of 3" is probably the girl we see in the nightmare memories.
Post-scene: genuinely interesting teaser, I wonder if it will be something similar to Entrophy zero 2 where we swapped bodies.
Alternate ending: I honestly didn't get it because I didn't know it was, although it seems to be the worst Combat moment and the hardest,
but also probably the best because it shows that any Metrocop can oppose the Combine and side with the Rebels,
besides this Metrocop with orange eyes in the mask is probably the same girl who killed us in the real Ending.
I'm waiting for Episode 2 and I hope that there we will also be able to continue both ways, the Good one and the "Combine" xD
In general, this is the longest comment I think I've ever written in my life, I wrote it... well,
almost 2 hours watching the movie one by one to remember everything xD (2/2)
The note and computer screen texture are realistic and accurate when compared to some other mods that using computer text as note texture
(maybe)
After Bloody drink the can, he was confused as why you were looking at him like you want to... well... This imply that since he has also drink Breen water, he doesn't even remember killing our significant others, but we do.
I keep binge watching your videos. They are so good man.
6:17 the easter egg surprised me out of nowhere 💀
I really hope this gets added to steam
bec is one of the coolest hl2 characters
I know that people may end up finding the "traitor strider" near the ending rather strange or ridiculous
But I really love the ideia of some of the synths somehow remembering a bit of their identity or history and rebeling against the combine
thank you for screenshotting that easter egg with that metrocop
that looked like a fricking amazing game, thank you for telling me about it :D
Loving these videos!!
I appreciate them not giving the Metro cops those one liners

Very nice vídeo! The episode one was well made as a EZ base.
I love the EZ:U and i cant wait for episode 2 but my concern is about the resistance ending couse i felt a huge distaste after the post credits scene couse it had potential like imagine if episode 2 had two campaign inside of it one from combine and one from resistance ending but I guess this will not happen..
still I recomend the game to anyone that like having thhe ass desintigrated on easy and being one shooted on normal
i mean its pretty understandable that the devs didnt want to essentially make 2 entirely different episode 2s
@@sergeantheavyass3471 ye u right atleast they could change the post credit scene to left it to interpretation
@@Yourlocalwordrobe nah
They dont intend to continue the resistance ending.
So having the post credit scene be what it is lets players know that.
I just wish this also on Steam, just to avoid most inconveniences. Even if it was paid DLC or expansion, I’d have no problem with it!
Ah, when I saw the can the first thing I thought was "Don't drink the water, they put something in it... that makes you forget... I don't even know how I got here" then I thought to myself, Imma listen to that guy and not drink the water. Guess I'm not most people lol
Lmao I see you found the FemBEC I drew for EZU ( 6:16 for those wondering )
When a community goes as far as death threats, it justifies my social anxiety.
After having silent protagonist for years, bad cop dialogue felt fresh and fun.
7:32 there is also a creepy guy in the building almost like gman where if u try to open a locked door the distorted trumpets start playing and a guy smiling comes infront of the door and then he dissapears when you unlock the door
Cool Video and a nIce Calming Voice
Couldn't get it to show up in my Steam library for the life of me.

I love this game
I kinda prefer the other ending to the canon one.
Yea I loved the dialog it reminded me of portal 2
15:47 Actually, I dont know if you knew this or not, but the Combine use Advisors as Valuable Mind Preservation Hard-Drives, essentially. I think its entirely possible that the player wasnt rescued, but rather died to the defecting MetroCops, with the players Consciousness resuming in another Host Body, a Juvinile Advisor Grub. The only problem with this system the Combine has is the backups have no memory past when they were created. So, if i am right, this new player character had no idea how their predecessor died.
I think that'd be a great plot for the second episode of Entropy Zero Uprising
By the way, for the vortigaunt part, I found a great place behind a car where if you move close to the car the green energy will hit the car instead of you, then you can pop out and shoot them
Also in the Hard Work chapter I was too lazy to grab a medkit, then I spent the rest of the chapter in absolute hell fighting fast zombies on 1 hp LOL
I love the bad cop dalgo
I COULDENT GRT THIS TO DOWNLOAD BRUH I was so mad and I loved the dialogue in 2 it was great
it could have also been that the combine had some level of nanite infusion in the water to "prep" people for overwatch conversion
It happened when I was playing synergy on steam.
12:09 i didn't know this was a stealth section, i killed a rebel through the vent and took down the turrets with the revolver
6:17 nah that’s wild 💀
Surprised that you didn't show the creepy citizen that stares at you while grinning in the building where you're introduced to Bec, or the ghosts you can find in certain spots.
Oh shit yeah I didn’t know that!
great video, well deserved since this mod is really well made!

I didn't know there was a second ending, is there a way to experience it without having to play through the whole game again?
4:05 I think it’s actually intended on being “PCV”.
6:00 they're alot more fun to fight in closed off areas and really annoying in big open ones
Either way, bec is with me
Nice video! I need to join this out.

Literally my ONLY criticism with Uprising is that the zombie metrocops talk, since they are just as human as the normal zombies so they should just be screaming and stuff
You can always just replace the talking voiceless with other ones in files though
I see what you mean, lore wise you‘re most likely correct that it doesn’t make sense, it‘s really cool though so I can excuse it personally lol
@@1lucia true
@@1luciathere is also a bit of inconsistency in the voice filters for the metrocops, but I do think that one of the filters used is basically 100% accurate to the original hl2 CP voice, which I like
This is a mod that really improves as it goes, barring maybe the final section feels a bit bland IMO. I think combat really suffers from far too much mid-to-long range fighting where it's hard to even see who you're firing at though. Entropy 2 is a vastly better mod IMO, but I think this at least improves upon the first.
WHEN WILL THIS MOD FINALLY GET A STEAM PAGE?!
i really did like entropy zero 2, however i never understood the warning at the beginning. we don't really do anything "bad guy" in the game to warrant it i feel
i think the strider was either reprogrammed in a way or it killed you cuz you betrayed the combine

I'd like to donate, however, all RUclips transactions have been halted in my country :(
No worries! By leaving a comment, sharing the video and watching the video in full length you can support me just as much if you really want to! :)
